Nestled in the surrounding hillside of Telluride Ski Resort, this mountain home was born from the idea of integrating a home in to it’s site and having it interact with the natural vegetation and impressive circling views. This did not come without design challenges, but the result was a rustic modern structure clad in steel, glass, wood, and stone. Floor to ceiling glass walls lend to breathtaking views of Mount Emma, Dallas, and Iron Mountain. Transparency through the structure was very important to the clients as it allowed them to feel apart of the natural environment. You can see through the formal entry through the great room and out the back of the house. Sleeping loft with a custom queen bedframe in Kingston aqua and cottage white. built-in storage is provided within the bed frame with six drawers. Exposed curved ceiling beams give an expanded and inviting feel to the sleeping loft. This tropical modern coastal Tiny Home is built on a trailer and is 8x24x14 feet. The blue exterior paint color is called cabana blue. The large circular window is quite the statement focal point for this how adding a ton of curb appeal. The round window is actually two round half-moon windows stuck together to form a circle. There is an indoor bar between the two windows to make the space more interactive and useful- important in a tiny home. There is also another interactive pass-through bar window on the deck leading to the kitchen making it essentially a wet bar. This window is mirrored with a second on the other side of the kitchen and the are actually repurposed french doors turned sideways. Even the front door is glass allowing for the maximum amount of light to brighten up this tiny home and make it feel spacious and open. This tiny home features a unique architectural design with curved ceiling beams and roofing, high vaulted ceilings, a tiled in shower with a skylight that points out over the tongue of the trailer saving space in the bathroom, and of course, the large bump-out circle window and awning window that provides dining spaces.

This stand-alone condominium takes a bold step with dark, modern farmhouse exterior features. Once again, the details of this stand alone condominium are where this custom design stands out; from custom trim to beautiful ceiling treatments and careful consideration for how the spaces interact. The exterior of the home is detailed with dark horizontal siding, vinyl board and batten, black windows, black asphalt shingles and accent metal roofing. Our design intent behind these stand-alone condominiums is to bring the maintenance free lifestyle with a space that feels like your own.

This kitchen, located in the addition was a massive improvement on allocation of space of the previous kitchen. Relocating it to the other side of the home allowed for a more central hall and an improved relationship with the dining room viewed beyond. It is also open to the new family room as a great room, perfect for interacting with family and a well lit view to the rear yard to watch the kids play during meal prep time. This new kitchen is the hub of the home!

The master bathroom was designed in a polished manner. The lighting helps bring attention to the custom white cabinetry, white floor and wall tiles from Bianco Dolomiti and the sinks glass vanity countertop by Nano Glass. The showers intimate design is backed by a chrome handheld shower head from Samuel Heath. The sinks three hole faucet matches the chrome finish found on the showers hardware. The master bathroom's most interactive touch can be found above the sink where we have placed a Robern M-Series medicine cabinet with a TV that partners with speakers in the ceiling.

This Portland kitchen transformation focused on reimagining the flow and functionality of the space, while also refreshing its look and feel. The original layout featured a peninsula that created a visual and physical barrier between the cooking and dining areas—and the patio outside—limiting both movement and social interaction. The homeowners goal was to remove this dividing element and replacing it with a thoughtfully designed custom island that serves as both a functional workspace and a natural gathering point. This strategic change opened up the entire space, creating a seamless flow while maintaining distinct zones for cooking and dining. Because one of the homeowners is a talented woodworker, we were able to incorporate some really lovely, custom handmade elements throughout the kitchen and dining room. The result is a kitchen that not only functions better but creates a more inviting environment for both everyday living and entertaining.

Another view of the audio/ video gear area with adjustable shelving and the rollout tray for the McIntosh preamp/ processor that allows easier access for gear changes or repairs. The down-firing subwoofer is below and mounted on an Auralex Subdude isolation platform to minimize interaction with the cabinet. Sub area also includes extensive acoustic foam for minimum cabinet reflection and better low frequency clarity. In front of the sub is an air intake for max airflow to the gear cooling fans below the rollout tray. Warm air from the gear is routed through the top of the cabinet via a hidden vent behind the upper shelves.
