This project was purposefully neutralized in ocean grays and blues with accents that mirror a drama filled sunset. This achieves a calming effect as the sun rises in the early morning. At high noon we strived for balance of the senses with rich textures that both soothe and excite. Under foot is a plush midnight ocean blue rug that emulates walking on water. Tactile fabrics and velvet pillows provide interest and comfort. As the sun crescendos, the oranges and deep blues in both art and accents invite you and the night to dance inside your home. Lighting was an intriguing challenge and was solved by creating a delicate balance between natural light and creative interior lighting solutions.

This jaw-droppingly beautiful bath is outfitted with marble mosaic tiles from Tile Bar on the floor, large porcelain tiles on the wall, a rain shower and ultra-luxe soaking tub from DXV.

This transitional primary suite remodel is simply breathtaking. It is all but impossible to choose the best part of this dreamy primary space. Neutral colors in the bedroom create a tranquil escape from the world. One of the main goals of this remodel was to maximize the space of the primary closet. From tiny and cramped to large and spacious, it is now simple, functional, and sophisticated. Every item has a place or drawer to keep a clean and minimal aesthetic.
The primary bathroom builds on the neutral color palette of the bedroom and closet with a soothing ambiance. The JRP team used crisp white, soft cream, and cloudy gray to create a bathroom that is clean and calm. To avoid creating a look that falls flat, these hues were layered throughout the room through the flooring, vanity, shower curtain, and accent pieces.
Stylish details include wood grain porcelain tiles, crystal chandelier lighting, and a freestanding soaking tub. Vadara quartz countertops flow throughout, complimenting the pure white cabinets and illuminating the space. This spacious transitional primary suite offers plenty of functional yet elegant features to help prepare for every occasion. The goal was to ensure that each day begins and ends in a tranquil space.

This project reimagines an under-used back yard in Portland, Oregon, creating an urban garden with an adjacent writer’s studio. Taking inspiration from Japanese precedents, we conceived of a paving scheme with planters, a cedar soaking tub, a fire pit, and a seven-foot-tall cedar fence. The fence is sheathed on both sides to afford greater privacy as well as ensure the neighbors enjoy a well-made fence too.

This country house was previously owned by Halle Berry and sits on a private lake north of Montreal. The kitchen was dated and a part of a large two storey extension which included a master bedroom and ensuite, two guest bedrooms, office, and gym. The goal for the kitchen was to create a dramatic and urban space in a rural setting.
