The Erosion Sink is a defining design for Gore Design Co. First created for a client in 2004 and shortly thereafter published in Dwell Magazine™, the Erosion Sink remains special to us. Each one is unique, no two are the same. All aspects of this topographic sink can be customized, from color and size to the shape and layout of the erosion pattern. Brandon Gore personally creates each concrete Erosion Sink, spending more than 40 hours on the form and 200-300% more time hand-finishing the cast sink. This transitional primary suite remodel is simply breathtaking. It is all but impossible to choose the best part of this dreamy primary space. Neutral colors in the bedroom create a tranquil escape from the world. One of the main goals of this remodel was to maximize the space of the primary closet. From tiny and cramped to large and spacious, it is now simple, functional, and sophisticated. Every item has a place or drawer to keep a clean and minimal aesthetic. The primary bathroom builds on the neutral color palette of the bedroom and closet with a soothing ambiance. The JRP team used crisp white, soft cream, and cloudy gray to create a bathroom that is clean and calm. To avoid creating a look that falls flat, these hues were layered throughout the room through the flooring, vanity, shower curtain, and accent pieces. Stylish details include wood grain porcelain tiles, crystal chandelier lighting, and a freestanding soaking tub. Vadara quartz countertops flow throughout, complimenting the pure white cabinets and illuminating the space. This spacious transitional primary suite offers plenty of functional yet elegant features to help prepare for every occasion. The goal was to ensure that each day begins and ends in a tranquil space. Quintessential Texas blue and white exudes modern luxury in this backyard transformation from ordinary to extraordinary by Weisz Selection! Every angle excites the viewer and beckons them to enjoy what this project has to offer. From gathering around the fire pit, jumping in the pool, soaking in the infinity edge spa framed by mesmerizing twin fire bowls, lounging on the tanning ledge, relaxing pool side on the platinum marble deck, sipping on your favorite beverage while sitting at the swim-up bar stools, savoring some delicious fare prepared in the outdoor kitchen, to watching a favorite event or show on the tv, all while listening to the Zen like trickling of water down the glass tile water feature, this project has it ALL!! One would think they need an expansive space to encompass all those wonderful features; however, our designers accomplished this in a backyard that is less than 90’ X 30’. Showcasing the expertise of our design team, we created a concept for our lucky clients that is an excellent utilization of space and encompasses all the items on their wish list! This gorgeous custom pool, spa, outdoor fire pit, and outdoor kitchen looks more like something you’d find at a luxury hotel instead of in your neighbor’s backyard. Photo by Falon Mihalic A dry riverbed/ rock swale carries water from the home's downspout around a shade garden to infiltrate in the lawn. Plants include Ostrich Fern, Sensitive Fern, Carex 'evergold', Native Bottlebrush Buckeye, Astilbe, Anemone, Virginia Bluebells, Japanese Painted Fern, Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea', Woodland Phlox, and Jack Frost Brunnera. Several types of stone were used to create the rock swale: Smooth Blue Mexican Pebble Beach Stone, Granite and Quartz Boulders.

SCD brightened up the dark and dated master bath using a light, neutral palette. Glass mosaic tile adds sparkle to the walls in the tub and shower and contrasts nicely with the matte-finish subway tile. My client lived in a small studio apartment, and after working long days at his tech start-up, he needed a sanctuary in which to return and recharge. His only requests were that the space feel like a yoga studio and embody Zen. On a limited budget, I made the artwork myself using using black watercolor. I used mainly cream, ochre, burnt orange, and avocado green as my accent colors.
