The Oriflamme Hammered Copper gas fire pit includes a metal lid, fire glass and a propane tank. Not only is this gas fire table beautiful, it is also functional with its unique height and burner style that allows this table to sit at standard coffee table height and burn up to 64,000 btus with the hidden propane tank or up to 90,000 BTUs with natural gas. This gas fire pit is truly unique and sets itself apart from the rest.

The dining room features a distinctive, handcrafted table that is extraordinarily durable. When not in use for entertaining or family dinners, the dining room becomes a project space. The tea cart holding the flowers in these photos provides additional serving capabilities without adding visual weight. The Back Bay House is comprised of two main structures, a nocturnal wing and a daytime wing, joined by a glass gallery space. The daytime wing maintains an informal living arrangement that includes the dining space placed in an intimate alcove, a large country kitchen and relaxing seating area which opens to a classic covered porch and on to the water’s edge. The nocturnal wing houses three bedrooms. The master at the water side enjoys views and sounds of the wildlife and the shore while the two subordinate bedrooms soak in views of the garden and neighboring meadow. To bookend the scale and mass of the house, a whimsical tower was included to the nocturnal wing. The tower accommodates flex space for a bunk room, office or studio space. Materials and detailing of this house are based on a classic cottage vernacular language found in these sorts of buildings constructed in pre-war north america and harken back to a simpler time and scale. Eastern white cedar shingles, white painted trim and moulding collectively add a layer of texture and richness not found in today’s lexicon of detail. The house is 1,628 sf plus a 228 sf tower and a detached, two car garage which employs massing, detail and scale to allow the main house to read as dominant but not overbearing. t may be hard to tell from the photos but this custom round dining table is huge! We created this for our client to be 8.5 feet in diameter. The lazy Susan that sits on top of it is actually 5 feet in diameter. But in the space, it was absolutely perfect. The groove around the perimeter is a subtle but nice detail that draws your eye in. The base is reinforced with floating mortise and tenon joinery and the underside of the table is laced with large steel c channels to keep the large table top flat over time. The dark and rich finish goes beautifully with the classic paneled bright interior of the home. This dining table was hand made in San Diego, California.

My client came to us with a request to make a contemporary meets warm and inviting 17 foot dining table using only 15 foot long, extra wide "Kingswood" boards from their 1700's attic floor. The bases are vintage cast iron circa 1900 Adam's Brothers - Providence, RI.

This room mixes Mid-Century Modern and Asian design with a few Industrial and bohemian touches. The dining table is attributed to Milo Baughman, circa 1960. Mid-century Modern chairs.
