The other project continuing from the Geometric Built In utilizes the reclaimed Ash for sleek modern hand rails and ladders. The clean squared handrail sits on top clear coated flat bar steel all fastened to the wall with our designed steel rail brackets. Up to the landing you will see the integrated ladder which leads to a little nook designated as a music space! On the upper floor the steel and Ash wood design is carried into a second ladder designed for a top bunk of a kids sleeping nook. Christine is inspired by color and the abstract world we live in. Her mediums are canvas and mural paitings with acrylic paint. She has always had an interest in art; yet she has not taken any art classes. While living at the beach, she began to use the ocean for the beginning of each canvas. In the early stages of her career she experimented extensively on marine life which she was so moved by. From beautiful glittery sand to windy palm trees to fish in the sea, she later moved towards abstract paintings that incorporated anything from animals and designs to psychedelic intricate patterns. Her paintings show her love for color and pull viewers into them.

Yakisugi (焼杉) is a traditional Japanese method of wood preservation. Yaki means to heat with fire, and sugi is cypress.[1][2] It is referred to in the West as burnt timber cladding and also known as shou sugi ban (焼杉板) which uses the same kanji characters but an incorrect pronunciation. The ban character means "plank".
