The challenge was to bring drama and interest to a very basic yard on a flat lot with no natural focal points. The result is this Party ready deck. Multi leveled and multi functioning, this attractive arrangement for outdoor living meets all of the needs of the homeowner. The design Allows guests to spread out into comfortable uncongested groupings as it cascades down to the yard providing seamless transitions from the interior of the home to the lawn. It also provides intimate spaces for a family dinner on a nice summer evening. The amazing kitchen is a focal point for aesthetics as well as sustenance. The thermal bluestone used as the floor of the kitchen gives a defined sense of space and ties in beautifully with the stone and Granite of the kitchen. The incorporated bar gives guests a place to watch the chef perform in this exceptionally equipped kitchen.

This curved deck was built with WOLF PVC in Amberwood with Rosewood border and curved layered profile fascia. The installation of the new sliding door from the kitchen allows for easy access. Custom powder coated aluminum curved rails accentuate the curve of the deck without obstructing the beautiful view of the back yard. The dual flared stairs add to the architectural interest of the project. The paver patio and built in stone fire feature capped in blue stone with a beautiful copper basin added another level for entertaining and relaxing. Black picture frame PVC lattice provides a stunning finished look. Client didn’t want any sharp corners where the children play. They wanted soft natural curves including the patio that captures the homeowner’s needs perfectly. This outdoor space provides enough space without overwhelming the yard.

The client wanted a deck to be connected to the rest of the yard and transition to the upper deck 10ft of grade to the patio on grade. The centrally located circular kitchen area services both the patio and the upper deck and gives lots of options whether it’s just the family or a party for 50. Minimizing rails and stairs during the transition from the upper deck to the lower deck on grade was critical to the clients. Adding the kitchen to the project without obstructing the view out the rear patio doors was also an important request from the client. The WOLF PVC Black Walnut accents and fascia really sets off the Driftwood field. Dutch Quality weathered ledge stone was used in the kitchen with a granite counter. Custom welded aluminum rails and EP Henry Bristol pavers are also featured. The built in flower beds extend the feel of the patio area and allow for plantings to be added. This project turned an unusable back yard and disconnected elevated deck into cohesive multi-level living space.
