Pool was designed for a volleyball net to be put up in sleeves within the landscape pockets next to the coping. The volleyball area is 15' square on each side of the net and both sides are the same depth. The right lobe of the pool is the deep end with a diving rock.

This long sloping yard is accessed via an elevated terrace off the kitchen walkout over the garage. Custom stairs lead down to the yard's three levels, an upper lawn, pool level and cabana level. A dramatic sheer descent waterfall accents the deep end's elevated pool wall which is ideal for diving. The natural flagstone decks are softened by lush planting beds while the custom cedar fencing provides privacy. (16 x 40, custom rectangular)

Little did our homeowner know how much his inspiration for his master bathroom renovation might mean to him after the year of Covid 2020. Living in a land-locked state meant a lot of travel to partake in his love of scuba diving throughout the world. When thinking about remodeling his bath, it was only natural for him to want to bring one of his favorite island diving spots home. We were asked to create an elegant bathroom that captured the elements of the Caribbean with some of the colors and textures of the sand and the sea. The pallet fell into place with the sourcing of a natural quartzite slab for the countertop that included aqua and deep navy blues accented by coral and sand colors. Floating vanities in a sandy, bleached wood with an accent of louvered shutter doors give the space an open airy feeling. A sculpted tub with a wave pattern was set atop a bed of pebble stone and beneath a wall of bamboo stone tile. A tub ledge provides access for products. The large format floor and shower tile (24 x 48) we specified brings to mind the trademark creamy white sand-swept swirls of Caribbean beaches. The walk-in curbless shower boasts three shower heads with a rain head, standard shower head, and a handheld wand near the bench toped in natural quartzite. Pebble stone finishes the floor off with an authentic nod to the beaches for the feet.

Beautiful outdoor kitchen in New Braunfels, Texas right by the pool and with fantastic Hill Country views! It's an infinity pool with blue gray plaster, which creates a gorgeous deep blue water, a built-in spa, and a deep end for diving.

Furniture was reclaimed and re-purposed in a fresh way and unexpected art was added to create visual interest. A custom mixed teal wall color creates an underwater feeling while the wood slice art adds warmth to the living area. The Barracuda art in the hallway to the bedroom was inspired by the families passion for sea diving. We worked with an etsy artist who created barracuda line drawings which we framed and wall mounted in a 'fish school' formation. The citron painted frames make the black and white drawings pop! Over the bed, we framed black fan coral in crisp white frames. The effect is delicate and artful. A basement turned guest quarters filled with sea inspired personality! Bring on the guests! The one on the left houses a sauna and change room/storage room, the one on the right houses the pool equipment. The pool features a diving rock at the deep end with a convenient swimout ledge and handrail at the corner.

The hot tub is seamlessly sunk into a flagstone step & covered to keep the heat in. Tropical plants surround the pool area and large, decorative boulders make diving into the deep end fun. Glass pool tiles sparkle when the sun or night lights shine on them.

This challenging site near Wolf Trap had an existing swimming pool at the end of the property. With twelve feet of grade change across the backyard, our landscape design dilemma was; how to connect the new pool with the house, create lots of living space, and still get people to the landscape below. The entire rear of the house was renovated, giving us an opportunity to build a new composite multi-level deck. We crafted a covered living space under the deck and sunroom.
