The (4) AR111 Museum Projector recessed lights are designed to offer a precise luminary pattern for crisp organic shadows of the chandelier and to illuminate its transparent colors.

Each lighting scene has unique levels that match the function of the scene. Smiles flashes the light 1 minute after it was pushed so the kids know how long to brush their teeth :)

This bespoke Ed Pennebaker blown glass chandelier has 226 pieces which are all individually removed and cleaned twice annually. The Aladdin lift allows us to lower the entire fixture down for easy servicing.

The center island uses a incandescent rope light as our night light. The Lutron lighting control system automates its operation with a daily schedule for off/on and the precise level at which it illuminates. We have also incorporated its activation into several low light scenes for the exact ambiance we desire.

Large skylights provide ample natural lighting. The partition wall provides an additional layer of privacy for the toilet & shower area. Soaring 15' ceiling height.

The upper & lower patio areas play the sweet sound of music through (2) separate stereo areas. The embeded POSH speakers use a composite cabinet placed between the inner and outer course of stone. This engineered solution provides a realistic soundstage with ample volume to prompt a visit from the police during a few large gatherings. One officer asked at my front door if we had a permit for a live band. Although it plays loud, these POSH 928 speakers are exceptional musical at low volume.

The back patio is one of our favorite spaces. The upper section feathers a fireplace with seating for 12+. The fireplace was over sized and raised a few inches above the normal height so it would broadcast heat farther out. The lower section host the built in grilling area and dining table. The patio is heavily reinforces concrete with a custom overlay application thus allowing us to control the texture and color of the top surface. This is definitely a high-heel friendly patio.

All of the small details like the embedded step light into the concrete and soldiered brick detail in the concrete overlay at all patio grade changes were handled by ela and were designed to add additional safety and cosmetic appeal at the same time.
