These projects highlight a variety of custom pergola installations completed by Allman Remodeling Contractors. Pergolas are a popular way to define outdoor living areas while adding shade, structure, and architectural character to patios, pool areas, decks, and backyard gathering spaces.
Each pergola is designed to fit the layout and style of the property, with careful attention given to structural support, proper anchoring, and long-term durability in outdoor conditions. Materials and designs can vary depending on the project and may include wood or metal structures, open pergola roofs, or solid roof systems for additional protection from the elements.
These structures help transform outdoor areas into comfortable spaces for relaxing, dining, and entertaining while enhancing the overall functionality and appearance of the backyard.

See what our client say about Paul Lopa Designs:
It went as smooth as it possibly could go. The only bumps in the road was with what we found during demolition, you never know what your gonna run into when all the walls, floors and fixtures come out. Paul had explained to us that depending on what we found under all the out dated stuff it might take a little longer. Paul was there doing the work with his workers he showed up on time and finished on schedule. It was no problem being in touch with Paul because he answered his phone or got back to us in a timely fashion. He has an excellent sense of design he knows what goes well together and makes the house flow with comfort and usability.

Resort-Style Backyard Oasis: Modern Farmhouse Meets Five-Star Outdoor Living
This extraordinary backyard transformation turns a sprawling wooded property into a private resort that rivals the finest luxury hotels — a complete outdoor living destination where every detail has been considered and every zone invites you to slow down, gather, and stay a while.
The centerpiece is a breathtaking freeform pool of impressive scale, its organic, curvilinear shape designed to feel as though it was carved naturally from the landscape rather than constructed within it. The pool's deep, jewel-toned water — achieved through a rich dark mosaic tile waterline and a dark plaster finish — creates an almost lagoon-like quality that shifts from teal to deep blue depending on the light and angle. In-pool sun shelf loungers sit at the water's edge, allowing guests to lounge half-submerged on warm days, while a separate built-in spa nestled at one end completes the aquatic experience.
The pool's surround is equally impressive. A generous travertine patio wraps the full perimeter of the pool in warm cream and honey tones, providing abundant space for multiple entertainment zones to coexist without ever feeling crowded. A sweeping row of premium chaise lounges with crisp white cushions lines one side of the pool, shaded by a series of elegant teak-framed market umbrellas that bring a Riviera-resort sensibility to the suburban backyard.
The stone hardscape tells a particularly rich material story. Dry-stacked natural stone retaining walls curve generously around the lower elevation of the pool, their warm amber, rust, and gray tones echoing the travertine patio above and connecting the pool structure organically to the sloped terrain. Stone steps with flagstone treads descend gracefully between levels, and large natural boulders are thoughtfully placed throughout the landscaping — giving the entire environment the feeling of a discovered natural water feature rather than a constructed pool.
A dedicated outdoor living room sits on the patio, anchored by a woven-rope lounge chair and a coordinating sofa with generous cream cushions, gathered around a sculptural concrete pedestal side table. The furniture selection — organic, tactile, and resort-caliber — creates a seating area that feels as comfortable and considered as any indoor living room, with the forest canopy serving as a natural ceiling above.
Around the corner, a separate fire pit terrace provides a second distinct outdoor destination. A massive circular stone fire pit — built from the same dry-stacked natural stone as the retaining walls — sits at the center of a gathering space ringed by weathered teak Adirondack-style chairs with white cushions. This zone feels intentionally removed from the pool's energy, offering a quieter, more intimate space for evening gatherings and cooler nights.
The house itself — a stunning modern farmhouse with white board-and-batten siding, exposed timber gable trusses, black-framed windows, and a covered back porch with timber posts — anchors the entire composition. The architecture and the landscape speak the same language: natural materials, clean lines, and an effortless relationship between indoor and outdoor living. A separate carriage house or garage structure in matching architectural style rounds out the property's exterior.

Our client came to us to build this custom white oak dining table in such a way to maximize seating around this table so we created an oval shape that sits on top of a pedestal. Eliminating the corners of the table allows for chairs to be placed all around without wasting any space. The pedestal gives ample leg room. It seats 10 comfortably but as always our pieces can be customized to be larger or smaller depending on your space.
The color we came up with was a 5 part coloring process which made this one a challenge to say the least. But the depth of color and unique tones made it all worth it in the end.
To ensure that the table top stays flat over time, we recess steel c channels that tie back to the base but still allow the table top to move with seasonal weather changes. This ensures that this table will be around for generations to enjoy meals and special occasions and we feel honored to be a part of that.
This table was hand made in San Diego, California.

We make backyard dreams a reality.
This project features a custom BBQ island/outdoor kitchen with an attached TV media wall. The media wall adds privacy, creates additional shade, and helps make the space more comfortable for outdoor entertaining. We also prefer to install the TV flush into the wall, which gives it a clean built-in look while offering added protection from wind, dust, and the Las Vegas elements.
For this outdoor kitchen, we installed a 32" Lion Premium Grill and an outdoor-rated 24" refrigerator. Ultra Patios of Las Vegas helped complete the project with a clean, modern patio cover that ties the entire space together.
A project like this, including the patio cover, typically ranges from $20,000 to $25,000, depending on size, layout, finishes, and options selected. This project is approximately 15 feet wide.
For the finish, we used Omega AkroFlex stucco, which is a great choice for the Las Vegas climate. It is durable, easy to clean, and gives the outdoor kitchen a modern, high-end look — perfect for a space built around grilling, entertaining, and relaxing.
