Outdated and enclosed, this master bathroom was desperate for a new life and an escape from the seventies. A light palette of beautiful neutrals, punctuated with rich dark woods and subtle patterns, both lightens and updates this space.

This older Toronto home was in desperate need of a renovation. All interiors were completely removed down to the studs and joists. This home was then rebuilt from the ground up. All new exterior windows and doors, new floors and re-configuring of interior partition walls. Complete overhaul of mechanical systems, new plumbing and electrical systems. All bathrooms were updated to suit current trends and uses. A custom kitchen installed at the back of the house with walk-out to backyard. The elegant exterior of this stunning Toronto Brick home is now complemented by modern interior finishes and building systems to suit the 21st century.

This 1926 Portland home was in desperate need of restoration; especially the bathrooms. The homeowners’ desire was to stay true to the authentic tile colors, shapes and layouts that were popular in the Art Deco period of the late 1920’s and 1930’s. Unfortunately, none of the original tile was salvageable with the exception of several small, floral medallions. The original floral medallions became the inspiration for the cheerful blue and yellow master bathroom and were used as accents throughout the room. Hawthorne Tile worked with our partners at Pratt & Larson on this unique project.

These three existing Saratoga bathrooms were, outdated, dark and mismatching. Between carpet flooring and Western theme wallpaper, a revamp was desperately needed.

The homeowner wanted an oasis for himself to be able to relax and be one with nature. The windows in this space are surrounded by large pines, and he wanted to bring the outside in with a refinement to the design versus a lodge feel. The room started off as a white canvas. The original walls and furniture were all white, and dim due to no ambient of decorative lighting. The space was in desperate need of warm tones to make the room feel cozy and inviting. The homeowner now uses this space daily to relax and kick back after a long day of work.

We used every inch possible in this tiny master bath! Statuary honed marble cubby details provide a perfect finishing touch to desperately needed shower shelf storage.

This beautiful Mid-Century was in desperate need of updating in both form and function. Keeping the original ceilings (which had a slope we needed to mind) helped keep the 50's style. The two tone made it so that the kitchen was broken up instead of being one very long white kitchen. Adding the windows on the exterior wall completely brightened up the space too.

Old farmhouse Traditional renovation and styling. This space was desperate for updates. Raising the ceilings allowed this fireplace to shine. Vertical shiplap and the extra-large globe chandelier anchor the front seating arrangement. The white walls and high ceilings add much needed light in the space. The cheetah slipper chairs are chic and affordable. The new eggplant area rug accents my client's rugs. Treasured photos and accents define the lovely bookshelves. This room will be enjoyed for many years and generations of children.

Our young professional clients purchased a rowhouse on a quiet street in the Strip District that was desperate for a renovation. The clients vision was developed through the design process where we planned to open up the 1st floor of their home by eliminating walls, raising the ceiling, and opening up the staircase. New window openings at the back of the home were constructed to allow more natural light into the space. The design relocated the kitchen to the center of the space, defined a living area, and implemented a powder roam and breakfast nook for a more modern day lifestyle. The soft palette mixes traditional elements and original architectural features for this minimalist design.

This beautiful beach condo was in desperate need of an update. The decorator, Debbie Bearden of Bearden Design, did an amazing job of updating this 3000 SF condo. The Wellborn cabinets are Melrose Cherry in Espresso for the kitchen and Henlow Maple in Pebble for the baths. Debbie's finish selections brought this condo back to life with exquisite elegance. The countertops are Caesarstone quartz for the kitchen and Granite in the baths. Stainless steel hardware and a chimney hood complete the modern look of the cabinetry. The waterfall edge on the quartz top is the perfect finishing touch to this gorgeous stone top. This was an awesome project to work on!

This Denver Area Lakewood home desperately needed new siding. We installed James Hardie ColorPlus siding and trim, as well as James Hardie Color Plus soffits and fascia. The homeowner selected Gray Slate for the siding, and Arctic White for the trim, soffits, and fascia. The ColorPlus factory finish comes with a 15-year finish warranty, so this house is sure to look good for years to come!
