Inspiration for a mid-sized transitional white floor laundry room remodel with beaded inset cabinets, black cabinets and blue walls

Protects against allergens, dust mites, bacteria, perspiration, urine and fluids SafeRest Classic Plus Mattress Protectors offer protection against dust mites, fluids, urine, perspiration and allergens making them especially helpful for those with kids, pets, allergies or incontinence. As we sleep we shed thousands of dead skin cells, which can quickly accumulate providing an ideal environment for dust mites to thrive. SafeRest mattress protectors trap dust mites, allergens and skin cells on the surface of the protector where they can be easily washed away during suggested quarterly launderings. This helps provide a cleaner more allergen free sleep environment for you and your family. Breathable and Cool The surface material is made with ultra thin polyester knit back coated with a breathable, hypoallergenic and 100% waterproof membrane layer. Ultra thin knitted polyester also provides a smooth surface that stretches and contours with the body providing an undetectable layer of protection. Fitted Sheet Style To ensure a great fit, an elastic band is used on the side skirt to automatically pull excess material under the mattress. Machine Washable Machine-wash with your sheets using normal household detergents that do not contain bleach. Tumble dry on low heat. Do not iron. Our mattress protection products will not change the feel of your mattress once applied. This is great for those with any type of mattress including innerspring, latex or memory foam.

Renovation is stressful. Wouldn’t it be nice to let someone else oversee product selections, manage day-to-day issues, and bring your project to a successful completion? The owners of a two-family in Arlington recently did just that, flying off to Florida just as we began renovating their first floor unit.
Of course, before they left we thoroughly discussed all aspects of the work order, which included renovating the kitchen and bathroom, painting the bedroom, and adding a laundry closet. We reviewed color and material selections, and set up a schedule for regular briefings.
A handful of issues did come up. But because we had planned ahead, we were able to resolve them with very little stress for our clients. For instance, the client had chosen a bright yellow paint color for the kitchen walls, but once the new cabinets, countertop, and flooring had been installed, it was clear that yellow would clash. We suggested a more complementary Benjamin Moore Lancaster Whitewash shade instead.
In the bathroom, the clients had selected a deep inset mirrored medicine cabinet. But when the wall behind the vanity was opened, it revealed a pipe running up the wall, too close for the inset model. In this small space, a bump-out medicine cabinet would be awkward, so instead we placed a mirror over the sink and two smaller inset cabinets on either side – a solution that pleased the homeowners, who now have his-and-hers storage spaces.
Finally, the homeowners had resigned themselves to the fact that the laundry closet would be too small for storing detergent and other needs. However once the units were in place, we realized that a small custom shelf could be built and had it installed to the delight of the homeowners.

Illumine Gold Dust Mermaid Scale Glass Mosaic Tiles offer countless ways to inject a splash of color and texture into any space. Thanks to their enchanting gold color, these stunning tiles easily find their place in a myriad of interior settings—from bright and bold to neutral and subdued.
Brighten up your living room with a show-stopping accent wall or tiled fireplace surround. Illumine Gold Dust Mermaid Scale Glass Mosaic Tiles can completely rejuvenate the entire feel and look of bathroom décor behind your vanity. Glass mosaic tiles bring visual interest to bathtub and shower surrounds, as well as an eye-catching scale-shaped statement across the entire wall.
The ability to withstand splatters of food and splashes of water means this gold tile is a natural choice for a decorative kitchen backsplash between the counter and upper cabinets or the wall behind the oven.
With simple maintenance, you will be able to keep this gold glass scale tile looking exquisite for many years to come. A simple wipe with a soft cloth and warm soapy water will remove shower products, cooking messes, or laundry detergent. Glass mosaics are impressively durable and non-porous which means sealing isn’t required. Tile Club shows them with Laticrete Bright White grout and recommends using Laticrete Glass Tile Adhesive as your thinset.

How to Clean Ceramic & Porcelain Tile Floors
Ceramic tile and porcelain tile floors are incredibly durable but there are a few things that can make keeping them clean and looking good easy. Here's the simple process we follow:
1. Clean up loose debris: Sweep or vacuum your tile floors regularly to keep them from getting dull. Ceramic tiles may be resistant to dirt, but sand and grit can dull the glazed surfaces.
2. Choose the right floor mop: Clean tile with mild detergent and clean water using a rag or chamois-type mop rather than a sponge mop. Rag and chamois-style mops are best for cleaning tile because sponge mops tend to push dirty water into the grout lines, making them harder to clean. Be sure to change the water frequently while mopping; dirty water equals a cloudy floor.
3. Be on the look for tile stains: If you find a discoloration, try to determine what type substance made the stain and use the right cleaner to remove.
4. Watch for soap residue: If your tiles look hazy even after cleaning, you might be dealing with soapy residue. Remove the film with a nonabrasive all-purpose cleaner.
5. Dry tiles too: Don't let your glazed tile floors air-dry—the sitting water will form water spots. Take care of that by drying the floor with a clean, lint-free cloth immediately after washing.

The details of our Illumine Gold Dust Penny Round Glass Mosaic Tile are sure to impress—its beauty and charm deliver a timeless yet on-trend look. To kickstart your residential or commercial project, introduce this enduringly stunning gold tile to evoke a sense of understated elegance.
The fantastic quality of glass tiles is their unique reflective property, making them dazzle like wall jewelry. Create a sense of opulence with an eye-catching accent wall or bring lasting flair and dimension to the bar backsplash or fireplace surround. The gold glass penny mosaics provide an unfussy yet stylish backdrop to neutral furnishings and metallic accents.
An iridescent backsplash tile will give your kitchen a modern glam feel. Glass mosaic tiles reflect light, lending a chic dimensional look and a sense of spaciousness. Pairs wonderfully with wooden elements and gold fixtures for a note-worthy aesthetic you’ll enjoy for years. Used in a walk-in shower enclosure or across the entire wall, the outcome is a gorgeous upscale bathroom design that’s truly beautiful.
While you may not think so given its name, glass mosaic tile is incredibly durable and easy to wipe clean with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water to remove shower products, cooking messes, and laundry detergent. The tiles do not need a sealant after installation but sealing grout lines periodically will help protect against moisture and stains. Tile Club shows them with Laticrete Bright White grout and recommends using Laticrete Glass Tile Adhesive as your thinset.

This laundry room was quite compact. It was 1" too narrow to allow side by side washer/dryer. By stacking front-loading units, we were able to include cabinets for all your laundry storage needs. You would never know that the bottom cabinet un-clips from the wall and easily rolls out of the way when appliance maintenance is required.
