These Heath, TX, homeowners called on Archadeck of NE Dallas-Southlake to improve upon the look, features, and function of their space that would truly make it their own. We worked diligently to deliver, from the custom outdoor kitchen to the waterfall, and all the way down to the gorgeous softscapes.

Our challenge was to transform key areas of this home that were somewhat ignored in a previous renovation. Located in the heart of Larkspur, the reveal was a bright and modern home that marries seamlessly with the rest of the updates.
This home is a Historical Landmark, so we worked diligently to honor and protect the architecture and history as we design updates to the Entry, Stairs, Living Room and Dining Room. Splashes of color, texture, pattern, and shine were introduced to add charisma and breath new life. Now, the entire home serves all aspects of life for this happy family.

Elegant French Provincial Railings in Haddonfield: A Harmonious Blend of Style and Elegance
Project Overview
In the charming town of Haddonfield, a client sought to enhance the exterior of their French Provincial home with railings that would seamlessly complement its elegant architectural style. Our mission was to design and install a railing system that not only matched the home's aesthetic but also added a touch of timeless sophistication.
Design Approach
Understanding the importance of maintaining the integrity of the French Provincial style, we selected Type One Balusters for their classic and ornate design. These balusters are known for their intricate details and elegant profiles, making them an ideal match for the sophisticated appearance of French Provincial architecture.
Newel Posts and Rosette Rail Enders
To further enhance the classic look, we incorporated beautifully crafted Newel Posts. These posts, acting as anchoring elements at intervals along the railing, not only provide structural support but also elevate the design with their decorative appeal. The Newel Posts were carefully selected to mirror the intricate detailing and grandeur typical of French Provincial design.
Complementing the Newel Posts, we installed Rosette Rail Enders at critical junctions. These enders, featuring a distinctive rosette design, added a flourish of artistic detail that harmonizes with the overall aesthetic. Their inclusion was a nod to the ornamental elements often seen in traditional French design, thereby tying the entire railing system together.
Installation and Final Touches
The installation process was carried out with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that each component aligned perfectly with the architectural nuances of the home. Our team worked diligently to integrate the railings in a way that they appeared as original elements of the house, rather than additions.
Conclusion
The completed project in Haddonfield stands as a testament to the beauty of tailored craftsmanship. The railings, with their Type One Balusters, Newel Posts, and Rosette Rail Enders, flawlessly match the home's French Provincial style, adding both functionality and an enhanced aesthetic charm. This project is a perfect example of how thoughtful design and expert execution can bring a homeowner's vision to life, creating a harmonious and elegant exterior that resonates with the home's inherent character.

The family of a local firefighter purchased a raw 15.7 acre ranch in the woody, rolling hills of Thousand Oaks to build their 4ksf, 1-story home with a view of the valley to the NE beyond. The husband and wife team, with an abundance of energy and fortitude, tackled every hurdle with optimistic determination and persistence, including the myriad of agency regulations, construction supervision, and material selections & purchases.
They came to ENRarchitects with a developed seed of an idea and a manila file full of handmade sketches. Together we continuously refined the ideas and produced the final design, documents and engineering to obtain timely permits and competitive bids from subcontractors and suppliers. The owner’s diligence in research and negotiation paid off significantly in a completed budget that was less than half the typical general contracting rate.
The welcoming home, features 4 bedrooms, 3-1/4 baths, kitchen, laundry & pantry, living, dining & family rooms, office, and a 3-car garage with a stall for the speedboat. With the latest in high-density insulation, foil-backed roof sheathing, energy efficient windows, the energy usage is very low, especially considering a whole house fan keeps the usage of the A/C system to a minimum, and a pellet-burning iron stove supplements the furnace.
The result is a beautiful oasis, perched in the hills, with ever-changing views in every direction.

Angel Bouchelle of Reico Kitchen and Bath in Annapolis, MD designed a transitional-inspired kitchen featuring Merillat Classic Cabinetry.
The base cabinets are the Ralston full overlay door style in Maple with a Boardwalk finish. The wall and pantry cabinets, also Ralston, have a Chiffon finish. The kitchen also features Cambria Everleigh countertops.
The client expressed their satisfaction, saying, "I love the design that Angel and Reico implemented! We now have so much light and better use of space. The additional storage makes it much more functional and organized than our old kitchen. I particularly love my special vinegar cabinet which is home to my collection!”
Angel noted, "The hardest part of this project was taking standard cabinetry and customizing it to meet the client's needs. We wanted to ensure that the additional storage space maintained an uninterrupted flow throughout the kitchen. By strategizing through production challenges and communicating diligently with the clients, we achieved a timeless kitchen for them to enjoy for years to come."

This project was such an amazing transformation and was exquisitely executed by our Bennett Team. Our Project Manager, Tony Cicchino, and Designer, Sarah McDonald, collaborated on these two spaces to bring a whole new look for the homeowners. In the kitchen, the homeowners fell in love with the concept of a two-tone design. Sarah wowed them with her remarkable rendering featuring crisp white and rich navy tones. The contract created an eye-catching aesthetic that truly sets the kitchen apart. The standout features are the gorgeous backsplash and mosaic space above the stove. Our dynamic father and son team worked diligently to customize the mullion detail on the cabinets allowing their craftsmanship to shine and elevate the kitchen’s appearance. The renovations didn’t stop there! Our clients also wanted to give their main bathroom a small facelift. Our crew stepped in and replaced the cabinet and top, mirror and light fixture. They achieved a cohesive look by carefully matching the newest selections to the existing flooring and fixtures. We are so proud of the exceptional results
achieved in this project and grateful to our talented team for all their hard work.

The welcoming work area at the center of the studio has a communal work table with seating up to 14. In addition to being a light-volume production space, the studio serves as a gathering space for various creative experiences. Sugarsuckle's classes and workshops inspire learning, designing, refining skills and honing craft. Most importantly, these offerings will allow the community to join one another at a table over a unique and refreshing experience. They are strong believers that baking can be both fun and calming, and we envision a space for everyone--whether they come to enjoy a playful moment, or to diligently hone their craft.

Our client purchased what had been a custom home built in 1973 on a high bank waterfront lot. They did their due diligence with respect to the septic system, well and the existing underground fuel tank but little did they know, they had purchased a house that would fit into the Three Little Pigs Story book.
The original idea was to do a thorough cosmetic remodel to bring the home up to date using all high durability/low maintenance materials and provide the homeowners with a flexible floor plan that would allow them to live in the home for as long as they chose to, not how long the home would allow them to stay safely. However, there was one structure element that had to change, the staircase.
The staircase blocked the beautiful water/mountain few from the kitchen and part of the dining room. It also bisected the second-floor master suite creating a maze of small dysfunctional rooms with a very narrow (and unsafe) top stair landing. In the process of redesigning the stairs and reviewing replacement options for the 1972 custom milled one inch thick cupped and cracked cedar siding, it was discovered that the house had no seismic support and that the dining/family room/hot tub room and been a poorly constructed addition and required significant structural reinforcement. It should be noted that it is not uncommon for this home to be subjected to 60-100 mile an hour winds and that the geographic area is in a known earthquake zone.
Once the structural engineering was complete, the redesign of the home became an open pallet. The homeowners top requests included: no additional square footage, accessibility, high durability/low maintenance materials, high performance mechanicals and appliances, water and energy efficient fixtures and equipment and improved lighting incorporated into: two master suites (one upstairs and one downstairs), a healthy kitchen (appliances that preserve fresh food nutrients and materials that minimize bacterial growth), accessible bathing and toileting, functionally designed closets and storage, a multi-purpose laundry room, an exercise room, a functionally designed home office, a catio (second floor balcony on the front of the home), with an exterior that was not just code compliant but beautiful and easy to maintain.
All of this was achieved and more. The finished project speaks for itself.

Set against the rolling Kerrville landscape, the home’s metal roofing system blends modern performance with a natural Hill Country aesthetic. Long rooflines, matching chimney treatments, and concealed fasteners support rainwater harvesting requirements while staying true to the community’s design guidelines. The workmanship reflects the same consistency and discipline our teams bring to high-end builds across Central Texas, including projects held by our San Antonio roofer crews who have been working diligently without ever shifting focus from the homeowner’s design goals.

We are so proud to show you some incredible Before and After photos of a recent renovation we completed at a local church. Our main priority was to make this a more welcoming space for parishioners and also for those who visit the food pantry. It had been decades since the last update, but we breathed new life into it. Our team worked diligently to refinish the flooring near the alter, seamlessly matching them with the new flooring laid throughout the rest of the space. The old alter piece was lovingly replaced with wainscoting, perfectly matching the rest of the wall. It’s a job so well done, you can’t even see where the original meets the new construction. Our commitment to detail shines through. As a finishing touch, we added new modern lighting and adorned the space with fresh coats of paint, one aptly named “Sanctuary” by Sherwin Williams which added a touch of serenity and warmth to the atmosphere. The church looks forward to welcoming everyone with open arms in this renewed space.
