A sumptuous dining room to feast one's eyes and palate features waterside dining in a room layered with opulent design and materials. The oversized custom walnut table accommodates up to 12, and features a unique mix wood and bronze frames upholstered in an exotic leather. Everything in the room was customized to elevate your dining experience.

Sometimes the simplest things can be some of the most challenging. We built the base and top of this out of solid white oak. The shape seems simple enough but the way this is built required 48 different sides to line up nicely on the pedestal with floating mortise and tenon joinery to support it. All that on compound angles that are tapered. The top is connected and supported via steel c channels that are recessed into the table top. This has the added benefit of keeping the table top flat on over the large cantilever. A lot of math and planning but the end result was so amazing to see come together. And the space that it sat in was such a wonderful backdrop. We couldn't be happier with it. As with all of our pieces, this custom dining table was hand made in San Diego, CA.

Like all natural rustic furniture each piece will have cracks that may widen over time, this is called checking and is highly prized in the world of rustic furniture and buildings. This is a natural occurrence and will not in any way affect the structural integrity of the piece. The wood for your piece has been expertly seasoned in a long slow process which helps control and maintain even moisture levels giving you a superior product. You may see Acacia wood used outdoors but this piece has been made for indoor use only. This table is very easy to care for, simply wipe the piece with a clean cloth after unpacking to help achieve its natural appearance. You may use an application of beeswax or brie wax when you wish to rejuvenate your piece. Dining table for 6 people.
