Kitchen Sink Retrofits - Single Bowl or Double Bowl? That is the Question. Hate your double bowl sink? Want a single bowl sink but think you have to replace the countertop? Many times you do not have to replace the countertop. Just simply fabricate a larger opening! I have been in the Kitchen and Bath industry for 25 years and have always been a huge proponent of single bowl sinks. Unless you are filling one side with soapy water to wash and rinsing in the other side, the double bowl sink is a thing of the past. Single bowl sinks allow you to soak a casserole dish in the sink rather than the countertop or one half at a time. Single bowl sinks make it much easier to clean a saucepan with a handle and cookie sheets without contorting your body! A single bowl sink allows everything that does down the drain to run through the disposer. With just one drain at the disposer, you open up more storage space under the sink, too! Upgrade your faucet in the process! Try the new touchless options. Add a disposer air switch if your sink is in the island to make controlling the disposer easier. Don't forget the soap dispenser! A Rohl, fireclay, apron front sink along with a satin nickel Rohl faucet, soap pump, and vacuum disposal switch were installed in the island. The Belgium bluestone countertops were honed.

The Kitchen Faucet & Disposal Button Designed by Paragon's Kitchen & Bath Designer and Customer Advisor, this kitchen project consisted of new tile floors, Wellborn Premier Cabinents, Granite Counter Tops, Subway tile back splash with glass mosaic accent with stainless accents and new recessed and pendant lighting.

This Finish is maple with cherry stain and a chocolate glaze. There is rope molding through out the design. The yellow river Granite blends perfectly with the colors of the home and the tumbled travertine backsplash, with the mosaic back over the cooktop, was the perfect amount of rustic to give this kitchen a comfortable elegant feel. We removed a Closet style pantry and added a pullout pantry to give a better flow and more cabinetry for storage. Also soffits above where the cooking area now is were removed to show off the height of the ceilings. An arched walkway was also added to blend better with the architectural style of the home. This was a spectacular change from an old, white cookie cutter kitchen, to a kitchen that truly is an expression of the homeowners style.

Large kitchen that was designed specifically for a child with Autism. Hidden locks on all the cabinets were specifically chosen and installed. Appliances that do not make any beeping sounds and an exteremly quiet garbage disposal were also installed.

This kitchen in Abingdon, MD got a brand new granite countertop! The color featured is Giallo Napoli. The designer of this project was Felecia Gillespie.

The walls where moved and space was redesigned to borrow space from an adjoining bedroom to create this white tiled oasis. It's turquoise ceiling, silver clawfoot tub, vintage style tile wrapping the whole room and glamorous accents make this a bathroom fit for a queen.
