Inspiration for a modern pool remodel in Los Angeles

The lower level can be considered the true “fun zone” of an already entertaining house. This space incorporates a family den, home theater, bar and wine room, and a golf simulator. Outside is a custom shaped, infinity-edge pool to fit the topography of the site. The pool uses natural stone to blend in with the house aesthetic. The pool features a large stone diving board and a swim up bar to the outdoor cabana. The cabana features a large flat screen TV on a swivel, so you can watch TV from the pool or from the outdoor kitchen under the cabana. Photography by Todd Crawford.

L+M's ADU is a basement converted to an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) with exterior & main level access, wet bar, living space with movie center & ethanol fireplace, office divided by custom steel & glass "window" grid, guest bathroom, & guest bedroom. The tiki torches light the perimeter but subtle lights flush mounted in the seating wall ensure everyone’s safety on the upper tier of the patio. The curves of the spa and pool are dressed up with a metallic tone tile for added sparkle at night.

An incredible large pool with attached spa and a swim up bar. A combination of the client's vision of a pool "house" with our design came together beautifully! This pool has everything: a swim up bar, a grotto under a rock waterfall, diving board, sun ledge, a fun shark mosaic, and more...

Even when all of the water and fire features are turned off, this yard is still a spectacular vision. The flowing curves and the contrasting colors simple draw your eye in and make you want to explore more.
