We removed the old cracked concrete tiny path and replaced it with a much wider entrance path for a more community friendly entrance. I mixed some red river stones to pick the door color and designed a walkway with different size concrete pavers path for a tight yet non monotonous design.

Soon after installation the Bourne family brought two new little additions into the picture. These puppies loved to run around and play, especially in the garden areas. To remedy their tides of terror we built doggy tunnels for there safety and enjoyment!

The quest for the perfect dog friendly landscape took a fun turn this year with canine clients Rey and Finn. The Havanese siblings insisted on a large patio with room for snoozing and snacking, healthy turf for sniffing and rolling, and a dedicated area for when Mother Nature calls. The homeowners wanted a large outdoor room for relaxing and entertaining and to ensure there were no toxic plants, as we all know how much puppies will eat just about anything.
Toy poodle Beamer loves this part of the yard.

Fire Island poses many challenges for creating successful landscapes. Careful planning, preparation and amendments allowed us to create this stunning garden. While there is a lot of symmetry throughout the grounds, the garden still has a casual feel that still captures the feel of the Island.
