This Florida Gulf home is a project by DIY Network where they asked viewers to design a home and then they built it! Talk about giving a consumer what they want! We were fortunate enough to have been picked to tile the kitchen--and our tile is everywhere! Using tile from countertop to ceiling is a great way to make a dramatic statement. But it's not the only dramatic statement--our monochromatic Moroccan Fish Scale tile provides a perfect, neutral backdrop to the bright pops of color throughout the kitchen. That gorgeous kitchen island is recycled copper from ships! Overall, this is one kitchen we wouldn't mind having for ourselves. We juxtaposed bold colors and contemporary furnishings with the early twentieth-century interior architecture for this four-level Pacific Heights Edwardian. The home's showpiece is the living room, where the walls received a rich coat of blackened teal blue paint with a high gloss finish, while the high ceiling is painted off-white with violet undertones. Against this dramatic backdrop, we placed a streamlined sofa upholstered in an opulent navy velour and companioned it with a pair of modern lounge chairs covered in raspberry mohair. An artisanal wool and silk rug in indigo, wine, and smoke ties the space together.

Contemporary glam meets moody blue hues in this Denver kitchen designed by Rivington Marx Interiors. The sleek, chic, saturated in blue luxury kitchen features a dreamy herringbone to the ceiling tile backsplash that is the dramatic backdrop for sleek cabinetry. A custom black and brass-trimmed range hood brings warmth, lighted glass-front cabinets are like artwork, and oversized white drum pendants add a soft, modern contrast. It's a kitchen masterpiece in form and function, the definition of elevated elegance, where rich color married refined design.

This primary bedroom suite got the full designer treatment thanks to the gorgeous charcoal gray board and batten wall we designed and installed. New storage ottoman, bedside lamps and custom floral arrangements were the perfect final touches.

The master bedroom presents a striking dichotomy of dark and light, where a bold black feature wall forms a dramatic backdrop to the soft, curving lines of the white upholstered bed. A sleek, modern pendant light with gold detailing hangs as a statement piece, adding a hint of luxury to the room's muted palette. The space is thoughtfully accessorized with minimalist art and a sculptural branch, creating a balance between sophistication and organic simplicity.

We carried the wainscoting from the foyer all the way up the stairwell to create a more dramatic backdrop. The newels and hand rails were painted Sherwin Williams Iron Ore, as were all of the interior doors on this project.

This project is the third collaboration between the client and DEANE. They wanted their kitchen renovation to feel updated, fresh and modern, while also customized to their tastes. Frameless white cabinetry with modern, narrow-framed doors and satin nickel hardware contrasts cleanly against the opposing rift-oak wood cabinetry. The counters are a combination of polished white glass with Caesarstone countertops in Airy Concrete quartz providing durable, functional workspaces. The single-slab, White Calacatta Sapien Stone porcelain backsplash provides a dramatic backdrop for the floating shelves with integrated lighting. The owners selected a dual-fuel, 6 burner Wolf 48" range with griddle, and decided to panel the SubZero refrigerator and freezer columns that flank the message center/charging station. The custom, boxed hood adds bold lines, while the full Waterstone faucet suite is a memorable feature. It was important to create areas for entertaining, so the pantry features functional, dark navy lower cabinetry for storage with a counter for secondary appliances. The dining area was elevated by the custom furniture piece with sliding doors and wood-framed glass shelves, allowing the display of decorative pieces, as well as buffet serving. The humidity and temperature-controlled custom wine unit holds enough bottles to host the ultimate dinner party

The homeowners vintage bed frame painted in a cherry red metallic finish inspired the bedroom design of this ocean side condo. A bold blue and white rug anchors it and wall painted in Sherwin Williams sporty blue creates a dramatic backdrop. Custom pillows in a mix of fabrics combine the red and blue and create a curated look. Coastal artwork and table lamps complete the decor.

The secondary bathroom uses floor-to-ceiling sage green vertical tile as its defining material, paired with a white vanity, polished brass fixtures and a walk-in shower with glass door. The color gives the room energy without competing with the more neutral palette in the rest of the home. Brass sconces and a simple frameless mirror keep the design clean and purposeful.
