For this primary bedroom redesign, the client envisioned a retreat that would provide a sense of escape and tranquility. The room was designed with a moody atmosphere, blending deep, rich colors that envelop the space in a cocoon of comfort. Color drenching was used on the walls, creating a seamless flow of hues that added depth and warmth. A stunning mural wallpaper became a focal point, its intricate design bringing an artistic, yet serene element to the room. To elevate the ambiance, a statement light fixture was carefully selected, adding a touch of luxury and drawing attention upward. Every element was thoughtfully curated to transform the space into a peaceful sanctuary, offering both beauty and relaxation in equal measure.

With this photo, you can get a really good idea of what the underside of the hood should look like. This ProV wall range hood makes an impressive statement. Spanning two ranges, it provides great coverage of both cooktops, allowing this homeowner to cook to their heart's content! The stainless steel backsplash creates strong contrast with the surrounding stone tile to draw attention to the hood.
The Proline ProV wall mounted range hood is incredibly versatile. With the purchase of a ProVW range hood, you have three blower options: 1200 CFM local blower, 1300 CFM inline blower, and 1700 CFM local blower. You can't go wrong with any of these blower options! If you want a model that is a little quieter, go with the inline blower. This blower will be inside your ductwork rather than inside the range hood. In terms of power, the ProVW is unmatched. 1200+ CFM will accommodate any cooking style. Turn your hood on and before you know it, all of the grease, smoke, and dirt in your kitchen air will be outside your home.

Find the right local pro for your project

Edibles can be incorporated into designated veggie planters or planted directly into the garden. Incorporating fruit trees, blueberries, and huckleberries allow for convenient harvesting and munching by kids young and old.

The elements of fire, water, wood, and stone were very important in creating the organic modern feel of this design. The layered effect along the back wall creates visual stimulation across the length of the yard, without overwhelming the senses. Rather than creating walls only of hard materials, we used Ipe wood to create horizontal screen walls of a more organic nature. At either end, the raised wall and the fire feature are finished in a large-scale porcelain tile, with the look of stained concrete. Custom stainless steel scuppers, by a local fabricator, create a soothing sound of falling water. The low wall at the center of the project is faced in natural ledgestone, and carries a color palette that set the tone for the entire project. Behind this wall and in front of one of the Ipe screens are three Desert Steel Giant Agave sculptures. The unique fire feature isnt quite a fire place, nor is it a fire pit. It is a linear fire burner, surrounded by a 4 thick cantilevered Leuder limestone hearth, with a backdrop wall of blue glazed clay tile. Although the pool was initially planned as a plaster pool, as the project began to take shape, the client elected to go all the way, and finish it in a beautiful blue glass mosaic. Custom fabricated stainless steel cannon jets send a delicate arch of water over this deep blue, and draw attention to the three square wok planters on the far side of the yard. For the decking on this project, we elected to work with Mother Nature, rather than against her. Two and a half inch thick concrete pavers, set on a bed of compacted decomposed granite allow for movement around the pool that is easily fixed. If an area of deck moves around, we can simply lift the affected areas, re-level the DG bed, and re-set the pavers.

Abstract wall art subtly reflects the shapes, colors, and forms present in this contemporary living room, while the sputnik chandelier draws attention skyward toward the cove lit ceiling.

This was a re-model and addition to an existing residence. The original roof had been cedar but the architect specified our handmade English tiles. The client wanted a brown roof but did not like a mono dark color so we created this multi shaded roof which met his requirements perfectly. We supplied Arris style hips which allows the roof to fold over at the corners rather than using bulky hip tiles which draw attention to the hips.

A custom built home office built in shelving and cabinets in a dark wood stain to match the clients current home decor. Lighting runs up the shelving units to draw attention to the client's collection of personal display items. All of the office machines are behind the lower cabinets hidden away from view creating a beautiful, functional uncluttered working space.

When envisioning their kitchen remodel, it was important to these homeowners that their existing cherry kitchen would be given a facelift in transitional style. Cathy and Ed of Renovisions achieved the owners’ wishes while making sure the kitchen still looked like a natural extension to the rest of their traditional styled home. The update made room for added storage and appliance space. We installed 48” wide cabinetry in a natural cherry finish with roll-out shelves and space to accommodate a microwave and pull-out double trash receptacle. These custom built cherry cabinets and crown molding matched existing cabinets and were within easy reach of the newly installed stainless steel Viking gas range, Zephyr hood and GE hybrid dishwasher.
A large rectangular stainless steel sink was under-mounted on a beautiful new gold granite countertop. An absolute black granite countertop was installed on the new wine/beverage center featuring a U-Line dual-zone wine refrigerator, deep drawers for linens and stem ware holder in natural cherry finish.
A standout feature is the beautifully tiled backsplash cut in with absolute black granite tile and an artful mix of granite/porcelain tile design over the new gas range. This draws attention to the newly remodeled space and brings together all the elements.
The homeowners were tired of the original builders brick surrounding their fireplace hearth and wanted to update to a more formal, elegant look. They chose a solid polished granite material in absolute black.
Outdated no longer, the design details in the kitchen and adjacent family room come together to create a formal yet warm and inviting ambiance with their wish fulfilled. The owners love their newly remodeled spaces.

I tied the aqua coloring that I used in the Master bedroom to this room with a stripe with a gold accents paper. I added a decorative mirror to the wall to take away the clinical look of bathroom mirrors. Hanging on the walls is a collection of 1940 paper dolls. In place of a white standard bath rug I placed an 18th century needlepoint rug of the white marble floor. To add interest I tied the two bath vanities together with a small make up area with an antique Japanned mirror. The hanging chandelier draws attention to this space along with the pretty Bavarian decorative bottle lamps

The second floor dormer of this lake house stands above a cut-out protected entryway. Natural cedar shingles in the covered entry, stained black shingles on the dormer, and black clapboard siding will each weather differently and improve their characters with age. The simple flat front garage door doesn't draw attention to itself, but once open the homeowner is greeted with lake views out the back of the garage.
