The bather had a long and narrow foundation-encapsulated basement space and wished for a dynamic sauna. Our goal was to create a space for a family of eight to share sauna bathing experiences. We engineered opposing benches with a center step and raised center walk to facilitate greater comfort in the narrow environment. Unique lighting systems include four-zone DMX controlled LED color bathing, fiber optic starlight, and Himalayan salt fixtures to set any desired mood. Additional features include ergonomic head and back-rests, chocolate cedar accents, an earthy stone wall, and luxury sauna accessories that transcend the typical sauna bathing space.

The table BRICK is the discovery that even with a natural and simple as wood, can you do technology. The concept of the extension table is declared in its name (from "BRICK" brick): the precious teak, absolute protagonist of the collection, it breaks up into pieces, in a geometrically perfect joints paced game that characterize the design of the plan. At the dynamism of the extensible top it is opposed to the stability of the structure, drawn by bold lines and essential that shape the teak. The important dimensions and the functional throttle opening system that allows to easily extract the hidden extensions from the sliding plane, allow to create space for a large friendliness. Given the complexity of construction and the large number of wood blocks of the plan, over time may occur slight movements of these parts, if directly exposed to atmospheric agents. These movements are natural and do not affect the use and functionality of the table. To maintain stable BRICK table in time, it is suggested to place it covered areas such as porches or verandas. BRICK extendable table received the Honorable Mention at the XXIV Premio Compasso d'Oro in 2016

This walk-in shower renovation is a masterclass in modern, texture-rich design. The focal point is the floor-to-ceiling installation of vertically stacked subway tiles in a rich, high-variation teal glaze. The vertical orientation draws the eye upward, highlighting the handmade, Zellige-style texture of the tile, which creates a dynamic play of light throughout the space.
The shower is equipped for a premium spa experience with a matte black dual-head system, featuring both a rain shower and a handheld wand. Functional details are seamlessly integrated, including a recessed niche framed with a marble threshold, a modern square black drain, and a sleek black wooden shower bench. Grounded by large-format off-white porcelain floor tiles, the design achieves a perfect balance of bold color and clean, minimalist lines.

A groundbreaking residential construction project in Connecticut, executed by HSL Builders, challenges the stereotypical notion of modern architecture as a mere "box." The innovative design, spearheaded by architect George Dumitru, revolves around a dynamic pinwheel concept. The central atrium serves as the project's focal point, with four cantilevered second-story bedrooms creating a visually centrifugal effect. Transparency is a key element, evident in the glazed atrium and open floor plan, fostering a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Embracing Connecticut's natural landscape, the design minimizes interference to maximize picturesque vistas. This collaborative effort, led by HSL Builders, showcases inventive design elements that go beyond the traditional, redefining the essence of modern residential construction.

This 40-acre private estate renovation added new life to the existing landscape and created a dynamic outdoor living space to relax and entertain family and guests. The centerpiece is an infinity-edge pool that takes advantage of the slope of the yard down to the woods beyond.

More than just a cosmetic remodel, this kitchen and dining room received a dynamic floor plan update. Without having to add square footage, we were able to double the size of the kitchen, add a wine bar, and increase the size of the previously disconnected dining room. Interior walls were removed to accomplish this open concept entertaining area. Harwood flooring throughout the areas connect the kitchen and dining areas, as well as warm up the space and add character. The warm gray accent cabinets coordinate and compliment the white kitchen. The large glass door system brings the outdoors in and allows for seamless entertaining and dining. The landscaping in the backyard was completely redone, including hardscape, walk ways, fire features, and pergola and trellis structures. The upstairs bath is an unexpected surprise with navy blue cabinetry, polished nickel plumbing fixtures, and glass accent tile. The cement look floor tile is both sophisticated and unique.

This kitchen project called "Past-IT. Hands made ideas" was born from the idea of creating a two-soul ambient, one strongly industrial, the other more handcrafted.
Steel, brick and concrete were mixed in a receipe of true original taste and a pure italian spirit. With the name "past-IT" that recalls the mamme who wisely created the home-made pasta.
The furniture were over the same lane: the suspended kitchen cabinets with a steel rail system as well as the traditional oven. Everything moves around the human, and not the opposite; a way of making more dynamic and contemporary the most creative space of the house: the kitchen.
