We had the pleasure of adding some serious style to this pied-a-terre located in the heart of Austin. With only 750 square feet, we were able to give this Airbnb property a chic combination of both Texan culture and contemporary style via locally sourced artwork and intriguing textiles. We wanted the interior to be attractive to everyone who stepped in the door, so we chose an earth-toned color palette consisting of soft creams, greens, blues, and peach. Contrasting black accents and an eclectic gallery wall fill the space with a welcoming personality that also leaves a “city vibe” feel. Her Office will primarily serve as a craft room for her and kids, so we did a cork floor that would be easy to clean and still comfortable to sit on. The fabrics are all indoor/outdoor and commercial grade for durability. We wanted to maintain a girly look so we added really feminine touches with the crystal chandelier, floral accessories to match the wallpaper and pink accents through out the room to really pop against the green. We borrowed square footage from the bedroom to create a luxurious en suite bathroom. In order to make sure the bedroom didn't feel too small, we created a cathedral ceiling that soars all the way up to the underside of the roof. While we lost square footage on the ground, we added volume, and so the bedroom retained an airy feel. To support this airiness, we painted the entire room white. Nightstands were thrifted and painted a deep shade of hunter green, which, when paired with the wood bedframe and the honey brown colors of the rug and bedding, add warmth to the otherwise neutral space.

We were hired to select all new fabric, space planning, lighting, and paint colors in this three-story home. Our client decided to do a remodel and to install an elevator to be able to reach all three levels in their forever home located in Redondo Beach, CA. We selected close to 200 yards of fabric to tell a story and installed all new window coverings, and reupholstered all the existing furniture. We mixed colors and textures to create our traditional Asian theme. We installed all new LED lighting on the first and second floor with either tracks or sconces. We installed two chandeliers, one in the first room you see as you enter the home and the statement fixture in the dining room reminds me of a cherry blossom. We did a lot of spaces planning and created a hidden office in the family room housed behind bypass barn doors. We created a seating area in the bedroom and a conversation area in the downstairs. Camp Wobegon is a nostalgic waterfront retreat for a multi-generational family. The home's name pays homage to a radio show the homeowner listened to when he was a child in Minnesota. Throughout the home, there are nods to the sentimental past paired with modern features of today. The five-story home sits on Round Lake in Charlevoix with a beautiful view of the yacht basin and historic downtown area. Each story of the home is devoted to a theme, such as family, grandkids, and wellness. The different stories boast standout features from an in-home fitness center complete with his and her locker rooms to a movie theater and a grandkids' getaway with murphy beds. The kids' library highlights an upper dome with a hand-painted welcome to the home's visitors. Throughout Camp Wobegon, the custom finishes are apparent. The entire home features radius drywall, eliminating any harsh corners. Masons carefully crafted two fireplaces for an authentic touch. In the great room, there are hand constructed dark walnut beams that intrigue and awe anyone who enters the space. Birchwood artisans and select Allenboss carpenters built and assembled the grand beams in the home. Perhaps the most unique room in the home is the exceptional dark walnut study. It exudes craftsmanship through the intricate woodwork. The floor, cabinetry, and ceiling were crafted with care by Birchwood carpenters. When you enter the study, you can smell the rich walnut. The room is a nod to the homeowner's father, who was a carpenter himself. The custom details don't stop on the interior. As you walk through 26-foot NanoLock doors, you're greeted by an endless pool and a showstopping view of Round Lake. Moving to the front of the home, it's easy to admire the two copper domes that sit atop the roof. Yellow cedar siding and painted cedar railing complement the eye-catching domes.

Meet Nina,the DIY decorating enthusiast behind the blog Swanky Swell. Nina had been eying our Birch Forest Stencil because it reminded her of her favorite nature inspired wallpaper. She had decided to make over her guest bedroom and while she loved the look of wallpaper, the price was way outside her decorating budget. Our Birch Forest Stencil was the perfect solution. She painted the forest pattern on an accent wall behind the bed in Martha Stewart's Tiger Eye. To complete the look of the room, she purchased a headboard from Target and scored a vintage end table on Craigslist that she painted Kelly Green. It's the perfect swanky guest bedroom. Somehow we doubt her guests will want to leave!

This family room was updated using a soft palette of greens, blues and lavender in all new furniture, rugs, lamps etc. It is super functional for a busy family. All of the fabrics and the rug are performance. The new modern light fixture is a perfect balance with the traditional style of the room.

Contemporary wood exterior home idea in Denver

We transformed a Georgian brick two-story built in 1998 into an elegant, yet comfortable home for an active family that includes children and dogs. Although this Dallas home’s traditional bones were intact, the interior dark stained molding, paint, and distressed cabinetry, along with dated bathrooms and kitchen were in desperate need of an overhaul. We honored the client’s European background by using time-tested marble mosaics, slabs and countertops, and vintage style plumbing fixtures throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. We balanced these traditional elements with metallic and unique patterned wallpapers, transitional light fixtures and clean-lined furniture frames to give the home excitement while maintaining a graceful and inviting presence. We used nickel lighting and plumbing finishes throughout the home to give regal punctuation to each room. The intentional, detailed styling in this home is evident in that each room boasts its own character while remaining cohesive overall.
