The Blade Series outlets can be specified both vertically or horizontally and allow you to keep appliances neatly stowed & powered while creating more countertop space. An interlocking thermostat, standard on all powering outlets, cuts power to the outlet if the surrounding temperature exceeds 120ºF, making it the safest in-drawer power outlet on the market.

When our customer Amy, blogger for My Life from Home blog, was planning to remodel her bathroom, she knew two raw copper Universal Gooseneck Lights would be a perfect touch.

Mirrored Cabinet Electric Option
Our innovative design offers the convenience of electrical outlets in a mirrored cabinet. This feature will enhance your grooming experience and provide additional electrical accessory storage. Our option allows for storage and charging of most electric toothbrushes in a 4" deep cabinet. An integral LED light illuminates the interior of the cabinet with a warm, subtle light that is especially ideal for night time use. GlassCrafters’ electric option also includes a heated defogger in the cabinet door to keep your mirror mist free.

The challenge for this project was that, while the homeowner desired all of the luxury amenities of a deluxe master bath, space was extremely limited. Therefore efficient space planning was critical in achieving the final design. Use of custom painted cabinetry and carrara marble countertops were the basis for this compact yet luxurious bathroom design. Careful attention was given to the tone of the finishes in order to keep this eastern-exposure bathroom light and bright. White trim and crown moulding was used in contrast to the putty colored walls. In keeping with the era of the home, a hand-glazed white ceramic subway tile was used in the soaking tub alcove. Nickel plated bath, lavatory, tub and shower fixtures in the vintage style were used alongside modern amenities such as recessed halogen lighting, electric towel warmers and radiant-heated tile flooring.

Upon entering the penthouse the light and dark contrast continues. The exposed ceiling structure is stained to mimic the 1st floor's "tarred" ceiling. The reclaimed fir plank floor is painted a light vanilla cream. And, the hand plastered concrete fireplace is the visual anchor that all the rooms radiate off of. Tucked behind the fireplace is an intimate library space.

How cool is this? We designed a pull-out tower, in three sections, beside "her" sink, to give the homeowner handy access for her make-up and hair care routine. We even installed the mirror exactly for her height! The sides of the pull-out were done in metal, to maximize the interior width of the shelves, and we even customized it so that the widest items she wanted to store in here would fit on these shelves!
