Testimonial by Mary B. "Just so you know I have been searching for the right backsplash for my kitchen for 3 years. The accent glass and aluminum tile that you see was my found at Home Depot. It was the aluminum that caught my attention. Unfortunately, they did not carry the aluminum tiles to match. I went on Google search and, to my pleasant surprise, Eden mosaic in Florida had what I wanted. I am a skeptic when it comes to dealing with long distant or online orders; so, I sent an email message with my phone number. The very next day I got a call from Eden mosaic and it was a pleasant experience from that day on. The staff were very helpful and very professional. The customer service was one I will never forget and will highly recommend to all who want an excellent experience. Thank you again for a great experience and making my dream kitchen come to life."

The contemporary vocabulary and classic gabled roof harmonize with the surrounding neighborhood and natural landscape. Built from the ground up, a two story structure in the front contains the private quarters, while the one story extension in the rear houses the Great Room - kitchen, dining and living - with vaulted ceilings and ample natural light. Large sliding doors open from the Great Room onto a south-facing patio and lawn creating an inviting indoor/outdoor space for family and friends to gather.

We designed this Traditional Kitchen focusing on the overall details of the Classic Colonial home. The Custom Made French Cremone Bolts on the Hutch wall add a special touch. We also added walnut interiors, a 2" built up Quartz countertop around the entire kitchen, and custom leg details around the island and between the two farmhouse sinks.

This inviting kitchen combines the timeless elegance of dark wood cabinetry with modern design elements, creating a harmonious blend of old and new. The large arched window ensures the space is bathed in natural light, accentuating the warm tones of the wood and the sleek white countertops. A stylish curved island serves as both a casual dining area and a functional workspace, complemented by chic bar stools. High-end appliances and thoughtful details, such as the unique overhead lighting, make this kitchen not only a visual delight but also a culinary haven for both everyday meals and entertaining.

We created this glorious retreat for our homeowners, who live with 3 kids, 2 giant golden retrievers, and 2 cats. After assessing the Feng Shui and coming up with a design plan, we designed a serene space that encouraged romance and peace.
The Carrara marble in the main bathroom is timeless, and really bounces the light around. We used all British faucets, sinks, and a soaking tub, complete with English tub filler.
The deal was, the husband got a huge walk-in shower, and his wife got her bathtub. Everyone is happy!

This dramatic vaulted living room centers on a soaring wall of windows overlooking the lake, framed by exposed steel truss beams and stacked stone columns for a striking mountain modern look. Reclaimed Wood Paneling covers the vaulted ceiling, Reclaimed Wood Timbers form the exposed beam structure, Reclaimed Wood Trim frames the doorway, and Reclaimed Wood Flooring runs throughout the space, bringing natural texture and warmth into this bright, contemporary retreat.
Every piece of reclaimed wood at Manomin Resawn Timbers is salvaged from 19th and early 20th century barns, factories, and warehouses, structures built during the Industrial Revolution from old growth hardwoods that grew slower and denser than the trees available today. Through our detailed process of denailing, kiln drying, and precision milling, that history is preserved and prepared for a new life in modern homes.
Whether you are a homebuilder, a home remodeling contractor, a homeowner, or a designer planning a space like this one, Manomin Resawn Timbers has reclaimed wood paneling, timbers, trim, and flooring to fit your vision. Visit our showroom in Hugo, MN or reach out to us with a call or a message to discover the antique charm of reclaimed wood.

I was called out to clean a Porcelain tiled floor at a newly built property in Winwick near Huntingdon. The tiles were heavily marked with grout and dirt and were impossible to get clean. To make things worse the tiles were pale, almost white, in colour which made the staining more obvious. It was clear to me that the builder had not managed to polish off all the grout after tiling and this had now set hard on the surface.
This is a very common problem known as Grout Haze and fortunately there is a solution, in that it can be removed by giving the tiles a rinse with an acidic tile cleaner called Tile Doctor Grout Clean-up. To prove the point, I carried out a quick demonstration so the new owners could appreciate the difference.
I always like to test porcelain tiles for a reaction to acid prior to commencing work as acidic cleaners can have a negative effect on some types of polished porcelain however this one had a textured feel to it so there was no issue.
The test went well so having got the go head I began by first cleaning the tiles with a medium dilution of Tile Doctor Pro-Clean, this was left for about ten minutes before being worked into the tile with a black scrubbing pad fitted to a rotary machine. I also used a stiff brush along the grout lines to make sure the grout was as clean as the tile.
This process generates a lot of soiling which was then extracted using a truck mount machine. By Truck Mount I’m referring to a powerful cleaning machine that’s fitted into my van, it blasts the floor with hot water and then immediately extracts it using an equally powerful vacuum to grey tank in the vehicle, it’s incredibly effective and leaves very little water on the floor afterwards.
The next step was to tackle the grout haze and this is done as before by Acid Washing the floor using a dilution of Tile Doctor Grout Clean-up and scrubbing into the tile as before. Again, the resultant soils were extracted as before using the truck mount.
The floor was then speed dried using Dripods which are small horizontal fans designed to blow air downwards and ideal for drying carpets and hard floors. Once dry, a coat of Tile Doctor Ultra-Seal was applied, left to dry and any excess buffed away with a White pad.
The work was completed in one day and completely transformed the floor much to the delight of my customer who left the following message in a subsequent email:
“Thank you very much indeed, we are delighted with the floor.”
I’m pleased to say I have since returned to the neighbourhood and completed another identical grout removal job at a neighbour’s property who had the same issue with builder.

We juxtaposed bold colors and contemporary furnishings with the early twentieth-century interior architecture for this four-level Pacific Heights Edwardian. The home's showpiece is the living room, where the walls received a rich coat of blackened teal blue paint with a high gloss finish, while the high ceiling is painted off-white with violet undertones. Against this dramatic backdrop, we placed a streamlined sofa upholstered in an opulent navy velour and companioned it with a pair of modern lounge chairs covered in raspberry mohair. An artisanal wool and silk rug in indigo, wine, and smoke ties the space together.

Who says a bathroom can’t be fun and colorful? This dedicated kids’ bathroom was updated to fit the personalities of the children who use it daily. The blue accented 6x6” wall tiles were arranged in a custom pattern, while the fixtures and hardware are a unique pink hue. The hutch for towels and other supplies also features pink shelves, while the modern wall sconce lights keep the space looking bright. The medicine cabinet mirror is hung above the custom wall-mounted vanity, which is painted gray to match the gray tile floors. To complete this renovation, we included a spacious white tiled shower that has plenty of built-in shelves for toiletries.

Mediterranean style is a beautiful blend of ornate detailing and rough organic stone work. It's worn and rustic while still being sumptuous and refined. The details of this bathroom remodel combine all the right elements to create a comfortable and gorgeous space. Tumbled stone mixed with scrolling cabinet details, oil-rubbed bronze mixed with the glazed cabinet finish and mottled granite in varying shades of brown are expertly mingled to create a bathroom that's truly a place to get away from the troubles of the day.
