We have been in this location for 30 years and are proud to offer our clients exceptional design services, cabinetry, counter tops, sinks, construction and project management. We offer several different lines of Semi-Custom and Custom Cabinetry, all made with Traditional woodworking craftsmanship, in America. Bob Blanco, owner of Shore & Country Kitchens, has been designing and remodeling kitchens, baths, and many other types of rooms for many years. A very talented and creative designer, Bob brings his extensive experience to every project. Shore & Country Kitchens has designed and overseen projects well beyond Fairfield County. We have taken on projects in Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Newport, Bermuda, Sanibel Island, and Grand Cayman Island.
Bob and his staff work as a team to help their clients create the perfect environment. Shore & Country Kitchens was referred to me by the contractor who is currently doing some work on my house including remodeling the kitchen. Remodeling a kitchen can be a daunting task. Bob from S&C made things very easy. He knows what he’s doing. He picks up the phone. He follows through. The cabinets and counter tops look fantastic.
They have a nice showroom in Fairfield. If you’re looking around for help with a kitchen give them a call. If I have to do this again I’ll be calling Bob.

Bob and his team did an excellent job designing our kitchen. The original kitchen layout was very awkward but Bob made some minor tweaks that had big impact and created an easy flow. Bob was always a pleasure to work with and he worked within our budget. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved working with Bob at Shore and Country Kitchens! We were first time renovators and very overwhelmed with all of the options. Bob was patient, understanding and very flexible throughout the process. He took the time to understand our style, what was important to us, and our budget, and then provided ideas recommendations and that fit us. He didn't just push us to buy cookie-cutter options that are "popular" (like some other kitchen designers did), he worked with us to design something that fit our family and house. He was also meticulous with all of the details from measuring and renderings through installation. He made sure everything was perfect and exactly what we envisioned. We could not be happier with our kitchen, and we never could have made it happen without Bob!

Working with Bob Blanco at Shore & Country Kitchens was a very pleasant experience. Bob listened to our ideas and guided us in designing our new kitchen. He recommended and coordinated with the appliance store to ensure the appliances were an appropriate fit. Bob also provided a computer generated design that provided a helpful visual to see what the new kitchen would look like with our selected choices. The process was very smooth and completed in a timely manner. Our new kitchen is absolutely beautiful and we’re thrilled with the finished kitchen!

Bob Blanco and team have done two major projects for us. First was a total kitchen redesign and installation. Top quality work and we have been very pleased. Recently, Shore & Country completed the same work for two upstairs baths. Again, quality work done on time at a fair price. Shore & Country is great to work with, they have good ideas and take time to understand the client. Good turnkey project management. Recommend S&C for any such projects.

As an architect I had very high standards when it came to selecting a company to help me build a new kitchen for my own home in Greenwich. After interviewing several candidates I felt Bob Blanco of Shore & Country Kitchens was the best choice for the job. My choice proved correct! Bob was a wonderful collaborator to work with—patient, even-tempered, highly knowledgeable, and with a superb design sense. Together we came up with a scheme that I feel is not only handsome and fully thought-out but also an imaginative departure from the more conventional design trends that dominate the industry today. Importantly, Bob is as sensitive to project pragmatics as he is to aesthetics. Projections for project delivery timelines proved one hundred percent accurate. Budgets were clear, record-keeping precise, and correspondence timely. His follow-through and site coordination during construction were equally well-executed. I cannot say enough about him and his company—highly recommended!

The kitchen in my new (old) home was a challenge! The layout was not functional for either cooking or entertaining. Bob listened to what goals i wanted to achieve; he was confident and experienced. The final project is more than i ever hoped for. The quality of the cabinetry is excellent, the countertops are perfect but the professionalism shown by Bob was unsurpassed.

We highly recommend working with Bob - such a pleasure! We just completed our kitchen renovation and absolutely love it. From design to construction, we had a great experience. Bob is a wealth of knowledge on the product front with quality products, but also has a wonderful eye for design. He helped us bring all the details of the kitchen together so it functions and flows well, looks great and reflects our style. He listened to what we wanted and guided us through the project, as we were construction novices. I found Bob to be kind, understanding and responsive - a professional and a perfectionist. Everyone he worked with and recommended was also great - the contractor and subs were excellent, friendly, clean and committed to getting every detail right for us. A rare find and a pleasure to work with - could not recommend him more. It was a fun project. Thanks Bob!

We cannot say enough good things about Bob. He took great care in designing the absolute best kitchen/dining area for our space, while keeping our budget in mind. He also helped us with design choices throughout the project (not just limited to the cabinets) to make sure the whole space came out as we imagined. He is extremely talented, as well as organized, responsive, and patient! He came over our house multiple times during the process to make sure everything was going exactly as planned. We are loving the new kitchen, and will enjoy it for years to come!

We hired Shore and Country Kitchen to redo our 1929 kitchen. Owner Bob Blanco designed a beautiful kitchen that has modern conveniences, but kept to the era of our home. During our kitchen construction, Storm Sandy came knocking at our door. Bob’s support, patience and encouragement during that time helped us get through flood cleanup up and repair damage. We then finished our kitchen a few months later. Forward 8 years, we had a minor flood that led us to replace a cabinet. To do that we needed to take off and put back our granite counter top-not an easy task. Again, this happened during another stressful time, the COVID pandemic. Bob immediately responded to my call for help, put a plan together and helped us get our kitchen back in order. Any designer can design a kitchen in ordinary conditions, Bob’s work was extraordinary in adverse conditions! Bob is very knowledgeable of his products and has a great design sense. He is very accommodating and great to work with. I highly recommend Shore and Country Kitchen for new and remodeled kitchens.

Bob and his staff were top notch to work with, right from the design stage through completion. He understood what we wanted to do and gave us a plan to maximize our kitchen space and storage. The cabinets, countertop and sink that he provided all have exceeded our expectations, and he even noticed an error in the appliances we ordered, contacted the appliance store to correct the error - and saved us about $1100 in the process. The project still has several other components to be done before we can start using the kitchen, but all of Bob's work is done. The computer-generated graphics he gave us kept us excited while the preliminary work was being done, and the final result is even better than the pictures.
I totally recommend Bob and Shore & Country Kitchens as an outstanding designer and supplier for anyone looking for a first-class remodel of their kitchen. We weren't looking for a "home beautiful," unlimited expense-type kitchen. But for our budget, that's what we got. Thank you Bob for designing our new kitchen.

We are so fortunate to have Shore & Country Kitchens and Bob Blanco as our lead designer and pandemic-project manager! Plans were completed in February and we launched our demo on March 9, 2020…the week before our new ‘covid world’. Needless to say, the uncertainties surrounding our lives were consuming. However, every step of our kitchen remodel remained attended, supervised, and professionally managed with abundant consideration, concern and poise. Every question was immediately answered, changes due to covid issues were conveyed and the project remained on track through installation. I also have to express my elation with the outcome of the design! With a one hundred year-old house, we were seeking a modern, sleek, a little bit industrial design vibe that would meet our NY style. Boom! Shore & Country landed it! Innovative and different, the new kitchen meets the historic elements of the house in a wonderful blend and celebration of styles. We are overjoyed and grateful!

Originally interviewed 3 designers and ultimately chose Shore & Country Kitchens. Bob offered the best design for our kitchen, cabinet choices we were looking for & also acted as the GC. The lead contractor Dave was a pleasure to work with, patient, knowledgeable etc. The electricians and plumbers he used for the job were also great to work with.

Shore & Country Kitchens is amazing!!! We are so pleased with our beautiful new kitchen- it is our dream kitchen! We worked with Bob Blanco, who is an absolute pleasure! Bob is an extremely gifted designer - we weren't exactly sure what we wanted, we knew beachy and fairly traditional but we didn't give him any further direction. Within 1 week Bob had designed something that was absolutely beautiful that we immediately fell in love with! Bob is extremely responsive, organized and simply a pleasure to work with! He was at our house several days overseeing the installation and making sure we were happy with everything. Bob's level of customer service is phenomenal!!! I often asked Bob for his design advice beyond just the kitchen because I valued his opinion so much, and he was always happy to help! I simply can't recommend him enough!!

I wish I could put into words the incredible feeling we keep getting when everyone who walks into our kitchen raves about it. Erin has a unique ability to mix and match a floor color with cabinets, counter tops, wall color and tile, that can look very nice separately, but the collective palate is extraordinary. We trusted her advice and she did a phenomenal job delivering a beautiful kitchen on schedule, that occupies the same space, with what feels like unending storage space. She provided several options at varying price points. We really enjoyed working with her and Jim and they were always there to make sure the subcontractors produced the consistent high standards they promised. I would love to use them again!

Many thanks to Bob! He helped us design a bar that is perfect for our space and turned out wonderful. He is professional and creative and prompt in everything he does. Shore & Country Kitchens was a pleasure to work with. Bob designed a kitchen that was exactly what we dreamed of while staying within our budget. He had some fantastic design suggestions including completely opening up our kitchen space to the rest of our living area. We highly recommend this company and hope to work with them in the future designing other cabinetry for our home.

Jim and Erin were wonderful partners for our older home's kitchen remodel. They both provided insightful design suggestions when dealing with our short ceiling, uneven floor and difficult layout. The quality of their products was top notch. They kept to the schedule and budget, making sure to immediately notify us of any changes. They were well in contact throughout the process over the phone and through email, something which I highly appreciated as both my husband and I work and could not be at home during the install. We wanted to work with our own electrician who knew the house; no problem! Their installer, Richard, was also professional and knowledgeable. Overall, the entire experience and the results were amazing. We recommend them highly and will be using them for future work.

Shore & Country Kitchens designed, ordered and installed our new Wood-Mode and Caesarstone kitchen in 2014. Everyone at Shore & Country is knowledgeable, congenial and offered excellent advice (when we asked for it.) Working together with our wonderful architect, Robert Storm of Westport, Jim and Erin did a fantastic job of creating our beautiful kitchen, and their installer, Bob, was superlative. Their attention to detail and terrific customer service are remarkable.
This was a complete re-do, as the original walls, floor and ceiling were removed and the plumbing and appliances were relocated, so there were many features and options to consider. We have used the kitchen for more than a year, and I love it as much today as I did when it was completed.

The whole team was great. They all stayed on budget, met deadlines, and best of all, the principles were on-site much of the time. They were also available whenever they were needed.

Our kitchen is a minimilast's dream. We had some definite ideas and Bob Blanco was able to execute them beautifully.
Sleek counters, oversized drawers and hidden electrical outlets give an unembellished, uncomplicated look.
The space is magnificently functional and his creation of the 8 foot bank of drawers is the perfect space for entertaining.
Finding designers willing or able to visualize a modern kitchen is not easy in such a traditional area. We are happy to have found him.

Jim and Erin at Shore and Country Kitchens could not have been more wonderful. These incredible professionals completed a beautiful kitchen for our neighbors. We were so impressed, we decided to do our own kitchen which was 27 years old. Jim kept to the schedule. The carpenters were absolutely meticulous. Erin was amazing with the design and both Erin and Jim recommended beautiful choices. I did not have any angst because I knew Jim would take care of any question or concern that I had. We worked with Bob, and could not be happier with our new kitchen. Right from the start, Bob listened to our needs, worked with us to create a plan and design to fit our home, and gave us such wonderful ideas. He took care of all of the details, which made this renovation so easy! Bob was responsive to all of our questions, and worked patiently with us to be sure we understood everything. Shore and Country Kitchens only uses professionals - everyone was on time (and even ahead of schedule!), courteous, excellent and accommodating - and everything was on budget. We could not be more delighted!!! I still have to pinch myself everytime I go into my new kitchen as it really is a dream come true. Thank you so much to Bob for everything. I can't find enough superlatives to use for Shore and Country Kitchens. A project that I dreaded was made easy and worry-free when I worked with Bob and Jim. They were always polite, professional and full of great ideas. Whenever an issue arose, and believe me they will with any project, Bob had a calm answer and corrected the matter in no time at all. He also never minded when I changed my mind, which I did a few times, of course.
I wish I could put "before and after" pictures here. No one would believe it!
I have been hearing raves from everyone who sees it and then I get to rave about Shore and Country.

The Shore & Country team were patient, extremely helpful, and even showed us how to save money. We were looking for something that fit with the "beach-ie" theme of our house. They kept to the budget and the time table. They gave us good advice on product sources and contract work considerations. They came over for measurements twice and talked to our general contractor on several occasions to be sure things worked out smoothly. Today, we get nothing but "ooos" and "ahhhhs" when visitors walk into our kitchen. Things worked out perfectly.

When we decided to install a new kitchen we visited four different showrooms and to meet with the sales representatives and to see their displays. Shore & Country Kitchens were by far the most helpful and least agressive in trying to get us to sign and agreement and pay a deposit. They totally understood what we wanted and how their product line would satisfy our needs. We chose them as our contractor and couldn't be happier. From design to installation they meet our every expectation and we had our kitchen ahead of schedule.

Had a complete kitchen remodel. Jim and Erin were very patient, helpful and creative during the design phase. Project started and ended on time. Jim visited the project on virtually a daily basis. We found all the subcontractors to be very courteous and highly competent. Overall We were very pleased with the experience, would definitely use Shore and Country again and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a similar project.

The design creativeness is what first got our attention having had a previous redesign which served us very well for many years. The pricing was competitive, the installation went without a hitch which included eliminating one door and moving another and the timing was right on. Having used the cabinets for almost two years, I would rate the quality above average not outstanding as we have had some minor issues with hinges and alignment.
Overall I would say that you can not go wrong hiring Shore & Country.

I was so pleased with Shore & Country Kitchens; they exceeded my expectations. Their design team and crew were first rate. Having a design background, I am very particular. The most important thing during a remodeling is excellent communication--Jim and Erin always got back to me quickly and addressed any design or installation concerns. They listened to all my ideas (and I had a lot) and found a way to implement them into the design of my kitchen. I felt like it was a great collaborative effort. They performed the work on schedule, were very neat and followed up after the work was done. I will use them again!

Shore and County Kitchens has done 2 kitchens for me. From design to implementation, it was a please to work with them. They were very professional, from coming to take measurements to the final installation. Jim Cummings had very creative ways to reconfigure the space to get all the features that I wanted included all while maximizing my cabinet space. They were also helpful in getting the dimensions for the appliances to make sure everything fit properly. Jim also has a great eye for color and was helpful in picking a granite to complement the cabinets. My kitchen is now 5 years old and still looks great. I have recommended them to all my family members and a number of friends. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

What a wonderful company to work with. Bob Blanco, our designer at Shore & Country, was so easy to work with and had so many amazing ideas. After a conversation around what we were looking for in our kitchen remodel he presented us with a few brilliant ideas. After seeing his designs we had another conversation and he made a few design changes and refinements and then presented us with updated renderings. His ability to listen to our needs and his design aesthetic made the design process so easy. I would use this company again as long as Bob Blanco was there to work with me.

Jim Cummings and his team were a pleasure to work with and produced an absolutely beautiful kitchen renovation for us. We worked with a designer who recommended Shore & Country to us. The project involved a complete new kitchen, the removal of a wall and complicated installation of a support beam, enlargement of a window, new lighting, cabinets, Caesarstone counters, an island with cooktop, and all new appliances. Jim was on the scene and in frequent touch throughout the project, and work proceeded on schedule with no major glitches. Every person who worked here was highly professional, skilled and courteous. We couldn't be more pleased!

We did a total kitchen renovation of a new home that we purchased.
Bob at Shore & Country Kitchens designed the layout. Bob helped with our decision on the kitchen design, style & finish of cabinets and counter-top. He was very helpful. He worked with us in deciding on what look would work best in our home. He was open to our ideas, but also made suggestions which helped in the decision making. Jim and Erin at Shore & Country Kitchens were an absolute pleasure to work with. They helped us with potential kitchen design ideas, color schemes, cabinet options, etc. Jim and Erin are really in tune with what is popular today as well as what was popular yesterday - that helps customers avoid making "dated" choices. They were great about keeping us informed about when cabinets would be delivered and installed. After a few months, one of the shelves jumped off the track. I talked with Erin and she sent an installer to take care of it without an issue. Both Jim and Erin were great to work with.

My husband and I used Shore and Country Kitchens for a reconfiguration of several of our existing kitchen cabinets in order to accommodate new appliances—a far more tedious and difficult job than a complete renovation and overhaul. Nonetheless, Jim and Erin put their heads together to come up with creative solutions. We were thrilled with their work.

Hello out there! Shore and Country Kitchens was recommended to me by my builder, Steve Brighindi, specifically, kitchen designer, Bob Blanco. We were completely gutting our kitchen and an adjoining dining room to build out a new kitchen. Bob was insightful, creative, an amazing listener and fun to work with. He coordinated with our builder, architect and structural engineer. We included a custom island which required many color samples...at one point, Bob and his associates created color samples for me that were right on the mark! He helped us focus on one part of the kitchen at a time so we were never overwhelmed with the scope of the project (over 4 months). It has been almost 18 months since my gorgeous beachside kitchen has been completed and I am as happy today as I was upon completion... Thank you Bob!!!

I totally redid my condo kitchen from the studs out, including some demo work. I worked with Bob, a seasoned professional whose expertise and non pushy guidance guaranteed me the kitchen of my dreams. He is an EXPERT on cabinetry and has a keen eye for aesthetics.
Shore and Country hires all their own sub contractors, so it is truly one stop shopping. Each "installer" was nicer than the next, timely and trustworthy. I couldn't wait to get home every night from work and see the daily progress. I still wander around and wonder whose kitchen is this?!!!

Over the years, we had made a number of updates and additions to our house. The kitchen although "updated" about twenty years ago was the next to tackle. We wanted to enlarge and push out our kitchen while changing the traffic flow from the family room, etc. We had engaged an architect and builder but wanted to be sure that the cabinets and layout fit ourcurrent and future needs. We wanted quality cabinets, but also had budget contraints. From friends, we had gotten a number of recommendations on kitchen designers. We had some specific wants and don't wants and communicated to three designers to allow them to give us preliminary designs. Bob Blanco from Shore and Country Kitchens's design captured everything we communicated. But he went beyond that. He pointed out concerns with a couple of our wants and gave us better alternatives. What he did was ask us what we were trying to accomplish and then provided a better solution. Additionally, he made some minor suggestions that we cared back to the architect and were included in the final design. Bob gave us a number of choices and was sensitive to the budget. The cabinets arrived on schedule and as they were installed, Bob was regularly on site or in contact. We could not be happier with the layout and design choices that Bob guided us through. It is without hesitancy that we recommend Bob and Shore and Country Kitchens.

I met with many kitchen designers but Shore & Country Kitchens has to be the best in the business. Mr. Robert Blanco, designer was the most knowledgeable and prosfessional designer I have ever worked with. He offered me many options to work with and there were many available for my budget.
