Knowing the neighborhood needed flexibility in regards to end users, the lofts concept was developed as a live/work solution. Green Design elements were incorporated; most notable was a 20 well geothermal heat and cool system located under the parking lot.

This is a modest residence designed for a local builder, which was sold as a spec home. I prefer designing for a real end user. I don't have a much control on finishes when designing for builders. Case in point....the railing used over the front entry portico is terribly weak & brings down the front entry significantly. Our drawings had a detailed, precast railing system and the columns supporting the portico roof were doubled and with pedestals...Regardless, for its simplicity it still appears noteworthy.

This is a functional idea for inspired cabinet designs. The Hafele peanut pull out creates additional storage space for missing bowls and plastic storage containers. This clever use of space can be multi use and allows for the end user many options with ease of use. I use them often in my kitchen designs, which have blind corners. It was a big hit with our client.
