With just a few strokes, of colours in furniture depicts the several branches of slanted plums exude a fragrant fragrance, which is intended to attract the attention of the audience. The brushstrokes of the lines flow slowly on the traces of time, and the greys of different shades, combined with the artistic refinement of modern techniques, endow the space with endless reverie. Leisure time and humanistic charm are combined and fermented here. The gauze curtains are fluttering as if the breeze passes through, the green mountains are far away, and the flowing water is silent.

"Let There Be Light" is a complete re-imagining of a 1920's Tudor-style mansion, that garnered multiple Georgie and Ovation awards, and earned Versa Homes a trophy for Best Renovated Room of 2017. The existing estate had a dark and sombre feel. The young couple and their three children wanted a bright, liveable, kid-friendly home with modern amenities, while preserving the traditional beauty and grandeur of the house. A 3,000 square-foot unfinished basement was transformed into a wonderland of home entertainment, with a home theatre, indoor hockey rink, gymnasium, arts and crafts room, billiards room, bar and seating for dozens of guests. Felipe and the Versa team worked closely with the family to select finishes and materials that were "just right". Every room is endowed with a unique motif. The finished renovation combines classic stylings with modern chic, and rustic "New York Loft" elements, in a playful ensemble that is a true expression of the personalities in the household.

The pearlescent finishes in the Mirò bedroom give the features a precious touch, a nod to the trend for a chromatic “cleanse” which often inspires today´s designers. The soft lines, which characterise every single element of the collection, converge in a lithe movement, epitomising the decoration of this collection´s pieces, creating a skilful contrast between the severe forms of neoclassic inspiration and the use of materials which capture light, making the surfaces glisten. We have targeted the most sophisticated needs with slender forms and impeccable details endowing the comfortable furniture with strength and dynamism – truly eye-catching.

Pauline Hartogh of Wetherly’s Interiors was endowed with the task to create a transitional home for a family of four that melded modern luxury with functionality. She divided the home into three residential wings, all of which are structured in clean, contemporary lines. The heart of the home was created by connecting the indoors to the outdoors using floor-to-ceiling glass, which set an open focus for easy entertainment. The landscape further enhanced the clients’ desire to embrace the indoor/outdoor lifestyle that Florida’s climate offers. Amid warm, tropical landscaping, a Chartes-inspired stone labyrinth provides beauty while also providing a place for meditation and relaxation. An exceptional home calls for exceptional products, and when researching which stone to use, Hartogh went straight for Eldorado Stone. “I feel strongly that the use of Eldorado Stone’s products greatly enriched two of the areas in this project which won design awards,” Hartogh explained. The joints are seamless and the end result is always exactly what she aimed for. Hartogh chose Dry Creek Stacked Stone for the entire exterior, including patio walls and pillars, because not only looks current but also allows her the flexibility to create any design. The use of this product not only helped establish the overall tone for the home but it also allowed for architectural details, which was validated by winning the American Society of Interior Design Award 2013 – Outdoor Living, Single Family Home.
