Why Choose White Kitchen Cabinets?
Versatility: The neutral hue of white allows these cabinets to blend seamlessly with any color palette or kitchen design. Whether you're aiming for a sleek modern look or a cozy cottage vibe, white cabinets can be the perfect canvas to achieve your desired aesthetic.
Brightness and Space: White reflects light beautifully, making your kitchen appear larger and more open. It's especially beneficial for smaller spaces, where creating an illusion of a more expansive area is crucial.
Timeless Appeal: While trends come and go, white has an enduring appeal. It exudes a sense of cleanliness and simplicity, making it a long-lasting choice for homeowners.
Resale Value: If you ever consider selling your home, white kitchen cabinets can boost your property's appeal to potential buyers, ensuring that your kitchen remains stylish and up-to-date.
Pairing with Other Elements

The newly remodeled small single-family home has been thoughtfully transformed into a modern yet timeless retreat. With a fresh coat of crisp white paint throughout, the interior feels bright and airy, perfectly complementing the newly installed SPC flooring that offers durability and warmth. The layout consists of two cozy bedrooms and a master bedroom, providing just the right balance of comfort and practicality. The master suite includes its own private bath, while a second full bathroom is conveniently located next to one of the additional bedrooms, ensuring ease of access for guests and family members.
The kitchen exudes a perfect blend of style and function with sleek gray shaker cabinets that provide ample storage while maintaining a clean, sophisticated look. Open wooden shelves with black metal brackets add a touch of modern industrial charm, offering a great space for displaying kitchen essentials and décor. The combination of closed cabinetry and open shelving creates a balanced and inviting atmosphere, making the kitchen not just a place to cook but also a space to gather and enjoy.
The master bathroom has been designed as a luxurious retreat, featuring a steam shower with a built-in bench for relaxation. The classic yet contemporary aesthetic ensures that the design never feels outdated, offering a timeless appeal. The wood-look tiles on the floor bring warmth and texture to the space, complementing the sleek, functional medicine cabinets that provide additional storage without compromising style. Meanwhile, the second bathroom embraces creativity with a unique combination of hexagon and rectangular floor tiles, adding an interesting visual element that makes the space feel dynamic and stylish.
The home office is both practical and aesthetically pleasing, featuring barn doors with translucent glass panels that offer privacy while still allowing light to pass through. This design choice maintains an open and airy feel while ensuring a quiet workspace when needed. Inside, the custom cabinetry provides plenty of storage and display space, making it easy to keep the office organized while adding a touch of sophistication.
Overall, this remodel has successfully turned a small home into a beautifully designed space that prioritizes comfort, functionality, and lasting style. With thoughtful details and high-quality finishes, the home now offers an inviting and elegant atmosphere that will be enjoyed for years to come.

In collaboration with the client’s architect, AR Design the layout of the kitchen was already in place. However, upon meeting the client it was clear she wanted a ‘wow’ island, symmetry in design and plenty of functional storage.
As well as a contemporary, family-friendly space it was also important the space that still respected the heritage of the house. The original walls of the property had many angled walls and featured some tight spaces, so careful consideration of SieMatic's cabinetry choices was given to ensure maximum functionality in those spaces. After much consideration, The Myers Touch specified SieMatic’s SC10 Cabinetry in a Provence Oak Laminate finish which was placed in a framed-style at the rear wall.
The same cabinetry was specified for under the island to create contrast with the new and original material features in the space. In order for the family to keep the kitchen uncluttered, careful planning of internal storage systems was considered in the form of using SieMatic’s internal Drawer boxes and their MultiMatic internal storage system which were used to store smaller items such as spices and sauces, as well whilst providing space for slide-out drawers and storage baskets.
To ensure an elegant yet ‘wow’ factor central island, The Myers Touch combined contrasting textures by using 30mm Silestone Eternal Calacatta natural stone, polished worktops with ‘waterfall island’ edges and a Corian solid surface back panel. The distinctive geometric patterned Corian panel in Cameo White looks particularly spectacular at night when the owner's turn on the architectural-toned lighting under the island.
Appliances chosen for the island included a sophisticated Elica Illusion extractor hood so it could be totally integrated in the new architectural space without visual distraction, a Siemens iQ500 Induction Hob with touch-slide control and a Caple Under-counter Wine cabinet.
To maximise every inch of the new space, and to ensure the owners had a place for everything, The Myers Touch also used additional cabinetry and storage options in the island such as extra deep drawers to store saucepans, cutlery, and everyday crockery.
The eye-catching Antique-bronze mirrored splashback not only helps to provide the illusion of extra space, but reinforces family ‘togetherness’ as it reflects and links the rear of the kitchen ‘snug’ area where family members can sit and relax or work when not in the main kitchen extension area.
The original toned brickwork and 18th Century steel windows in the original part of the extension also helps to tell the story about the older part of the house which now juxtaposes to the new, contemporary kitchen living extension. A handy door was also included in the extension which leads to the garage on the main road for family convenience and over-flow storage.

This pub set combines practicality, style, and comfort, making it an excellent choice for enhancing your outdoor living space with a touch of casual elegance.

For this outdoor space project, the local weather posed the biggest challenge for the design professionals at Backyard Specialist. The homeowners envisioned an outdoor cooking space complete with a running-water sink, a kamado grill, and a gas grill, all set into a back bar. A front bar would house refrigeration for the built-in beer taps and pub seating for four to allow guests to enjoy the culinary displays. Situated directly outside a sliding door to the interior kitchen space, it was important for the pergola to create a waterproof barrier that made the space accessible even during the regular rain showers.
With the rest of the back porch bathed in direct sun, the homeowners also wanted to create full-time shade for the outdoor kitchen space of this outdoor home addition. So, the design team opted to create an Azenco R-Shade fixed-roof pergola design for the space. The R-Shade’s insulated sandwich-panel roof design ensured the constant sun would be reflected away from the kitchen, while still providing sufficient airflow to ventilate the heat and smoke from the grills. To ensure the homeowners could transition from indoor to outdoor kitchen spaces without getting wet, the designers overlapped the frame of the pergola with the home’s eaves. With the pergola frame securely mounted to the building, its two support columns were perfectly positioned along the perimeter of the elevated porch. This ensured the R-Shade’s internal gutter system could collect both the rain falling on the pergola, and that running off the roofline, and easily deposit it in the abutting garden area.

Homeowner Services of Michigan recently completed a comprehensive exterior restoration project for a professional building owned by a commercial property client. The client selected us for our ability to meet their specific needs and adhere to their timeline. A key requirement was to complete the project without disrupting the tenants of the complex.
We began by carefully removing the old, outdated siding. Our team ensured minimal disturbance to the tenants by scheduling work during off-peak hours and utilizing sound-dampening techniques. Once the old siding was removed, we prepared the building’s inner sheath and applied advanced weather-sealing techniques to protect against moisture and improve insulation.
Next, we installed high-quality HardieBoard cement composite siding in a deep slate blue color. This choice provided a modern and professional appearance. Our team ensured precise alignment and secure fastening for maximum durability.
To complete the look, we installed contrasting regal gold trim, gutters, and downspouts. The regal gold trim highlighted the building’s architectural features, while the matching gutters and downspouts ensured efficient water drainage and added to the building's aesthetic appeal.
The project was completed on time and within budget, with no disruption to the building’s tenants. The new exterior not only enhanced the building's curb appeal but also provided improved weather resistance and energy efficiency. The combination of deep slate blue HardieBoard siding and regal gold trim created a striking, professional look that perfectly aligned with the client’s vision.

Every surface was chosen for aesthetics, longevity, and ease of maintenance, crucial for aging-in-place. Stone slab surround, rich accents, and elegant brass fixtures exemplified our commitment to timeless beauty and practical durability. Strategic lighting and thoughtful furnishings ensured functionality and invitation. A layered lighting scheme incorporated ambient, task, and accent lighting. Large windows maximized natural light, connecting the bathroom to the Central Coast landscape. Selections were chosen for comfort and safety, including non-slip elements and accessible features. Each selection harmonized with the overall design, balancing modern aesthetics with classic details.

Our client presented us with a unique challenge: to craft a modern, open-plan kitchen in the upstairs open space of their new build. They were looking for a space that wasn’t just functional but also acted as a secondary eating area and transitioned smoothly into the living space.
We selected Nolte Stone in Basalt, complemented by an accent in Glacier. The Quartz Grey MatrixArt handleless trims equipped with integrated lighting add a touch of modernity, ensuring a sleek finish.
A 20mm thick Silestone Gris Expo solid surface worktop was chosen, and we added a Glacier breakfast bar and Basalt table to align with the colour theme. For appliances, we trusted NEFF to deliver on performance, including their single oven, combination microwave, steam oven, induction hob, and gas domino hob. The downdraft extraction was a key addition, ensuring efficiency without the overhead extractor, and we integrated the client's existing American fridge freezer into the design seamlessly.
Special touches include a Blanco 1 ½ bowl undermounted sink paired with a Quooker Flex stainless Steel instant boiling water tap. Laminate flooring was laid to ensure longevity and ease of cleaning. To extend the functionality, we constructed a matching Nolte table and seamlessly moved the design into the living space, adding a contemporary sideboard unit and a media unit in the sitting area.

Being part of a team of that transformed a newly built DC rooftop deck into a year-round outdoor retreat required a seamless collaboration of talents. Together with the acclaimed Tomi Landis and Landis Architects-Builders, we added layered beauty to planters surrounding this gorgeous rooftop space, blending lush greenery, modern design, and thoughtful details. To achieve this, we introduced a mix of perennial shrubs, trees, and vibrant seasonal annuals, creating layers of texture and color that change with the seasons. A custom water feature and expertly placed lighting added both tranquility and ambiance, elevating the overall experience of the space.
Executing this project involved meticulous planning and precision logistics. All materials—including large containers, trees, shrubs, soil, and structural elements—were craned to the rooftop, ensuring no detail was overlooked. Dark, contemporary planters were selected to create a cohesive perimeter around the expansive deck, offering a polished and unified look while framing the breathtaking city views. With the rooftop fully exposed to the sun, plant selection focused on hardy, sun-loving species to ensure long-term vitality. Multiple crews worked in tandem to deliver a seamless installation, balancing efficiency with craftsmanship.
Beyond installation, our commitment to the space continues through tailored maintenance, ensuring the plantings thrive and evolve beautifully over time. This rooftop deck now serves as a vibrant oasis, offering its owners a perfect balance of urban sophistication and natural serenity.

This custom made three dimensional feature wall made entirely with European oak in our shop has recessed LED lights, a matching credenza and is 12'x17'. The client—a highly successful luxury builder himself—had exceptionally high expectations. The team developed detailed CAD drawings and life-like renderings, ensuring every aspect of the design was clearly visualized. Over the course of three design meetings, the team refined the concept based on the client’s feedback until he was fully satisfied. During fabrication, the team replicated the approved design with precision, ensuring every detail was meticulously looked after. The team built the wall in sections, ensuring they could be transported efficiently and seamlessly assembled on-site. Before staining, the team fully assembled the wall to verify perfect alignment and eliminate any margin for error. When the final structure was put together on-site, the result was so seamless that it appeared to be carved from a single solid piece of wood.
