He made multiple visits to help diagnose a water leak in my condo, was patient when coordinating access between units proved difficult, and worked with the building to provide the necessary insurance documentation. He gave clear, honest advice throughout and didn’t try to oversell the scope of work. Would definitely use him again for any kitchen or bathroom needs.

As someone who works long hours, I didn’t have time to manage contractors or chase deliveries, which is why choosing NYKB ended up being the right decision for our kitchen renovation. Maia helped us redesign a very small Manhattan kitchen that had almost no storage. She focused on functionality first, which I appreciated. Every cabinet has a purpose now, appliances fit perfectly, and the workflow actually makes sense. Gevanta managed the construction and scheduling, and what stood out to me was how proactive he was. Also, what I liked about them is that materials were already ordered and stored before demolition started, which avoided delays that friends of mine experienced with other contractors. There were building inspections, shutoffs, and coordination with neighbors that I barely noticed because NYKB handled everything behind the scenes. The kitchen looks beautiful, but more importantly it works incredibly well every day.

I can’t say enough about the skill and professional work of NYKB. I had a total gut renovation of my bathroom a few years ago, pre-COVID. This included the install of beautiful Calacatta Neolith stone wall panels, new bath tub, sink and toilet. Other details are a water heating unit in the shower to make sure the water was hot when turned on, a beautiful recessed ceiling with dimmer switch lights and a shelved wall niche for bath products. Their designer was great to work with. I am very happy for her recommendations such as anti-fog mirrors on the Robern cabinets with a lower small night light, and the Toto toilet which is awesome. They made sure all of the proper permits were completed in a timely manner to insure all electrical and plumbing was done to code and the specifications for my building were met. The entire project was completed in a record time of 8 weeks. They truly stand behind their work. As a testament to their integrity, this week they came back to check on and fix some concerns I had that needed attention which were well beyond warranty. Michael Avidor came to inspect and made a list. Then Elay and team came to complete the work. They repaired towel bars and toilet paper holder. The bottom strip of the glass shower door had cracked and was replaced and secured with silicone and the tub and sink needed a grout refresh. All of this was efficiently completed for me. I had a fantastic bathroom renovation experience with the NYKB team. The final result is a perfect 10/10. Noy did an excellent job, constantly level-setting with me from beginning to end. I renovated my kitchen and bathroom with NYKB. Although the job had a rocky start due to personnel issues once Michael Avidor (project manager ) and Rojda Zorer (designer) took over all went smoothly and they were on top of any changes/problems that came along. Pros: the work is fantastic and my kitchen and bath came out exactly the way I wanted. Also they do stand by their warranty because my job was completed in July and this past April I called Michael because my bathroom sink faucet broke and he came right away and it was replaced free of charge, since it was still under warranty. Cons: I feel the initial contract was vague and allowed a lot of room for increased costs.This is why I won't give 5 stars. I do want to stress that I have absolutely no complaints about the actual work.

I had major water damage across all the floors in my apartment due to a dishwasher leak. Not only did the floors have to be replaced, there was also a mold issue and the existing subfloor had to be removed and replaced. Perry, Michael Avidor, and Carl managed the whole process and pushed hard to move as fast as possible even during the holidays. Michael provided detailed updates and photos even while I was traveling out of the country. The end product looks great and we have the peace of mind coming from knowing that the installation was done correctly, with no shortcuts, and is protected through their 5 year warranty.

I worked with Noy, Rojda, and Q from NYKB on a gut remodel of a bathroom. We also updated some lighting and installed nice new automated blinds. NYKB renovated our bathroom a year and a half ago. Due to issues with vendors and original construction of our apartment, the renovation was stressful and lengthier than anticipated. But throughout the entire process everyone in the office was quick to work with us to complete the bathroom, which ended up exactly as we had ask envisioned. NYKB honors their guarantees. Michael Avidor, Noy Portal and their team quickly responded to our questions and concerns were quick to rectify any issues that have occurred after they completed our renovation. Everything was resolved quickly and completely covered under their warranty, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the final results. We totally recommend NYKB for their work ethic and guarantee on work done!

Beware! NYKB likes to hit people with fake plumbing charges. When we worked with them, after signing our contract and in correspondence with our building, they deceptively told us our building was requiring major replacements to our plumbing. Our building called NYKB out on their lies. Thereafter, NYKB told us it was NYC code that we had to replace our plumbing. We consulted a third-party plumber who told us our plumbing was already up to code. Luckily, they didn't fool us. But beware, as they will try to fool you too. The cost of this phony plumbing? An ADDITIONAL 50% of our ENTIRE contract. They were well over the timeline they provided, well over budget, and damaged all of our floors. I do not recommend them.

I used NYKB to renovate my entire NYC apartment. They gutted the kitchen and bathroom, laid down new flooring throughout the apartment, re-wired the electric, installed new doors, etc. Any renovation that disrupts your daily home life for months is extremely stressful. But NYKB did an amazing job managing and delivering on the renovation, including handling all the requirements and rules of my NYC coop building. I have received so many compliments on my kitchen and bathroom. NYKB handled everything. It was white glove service. Michael Avidor and his team were very professional and respectful. Even after the renovation was complete, Noy Portal was so responsive and quick to act when I had a question or there was a small issue.

NYKB did a amazing job renovating our apartment. We initially hired them to renovate our 3 bed/3 bathrooms and kitchen and part way through the project purchased a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom property next door and contracted them to combine the apartments and completely renovate that space as well. The designer I worked with understood my vision. The project manager Troy was very professional, responsive and a steady presence throughout the renovation that took almost 2 years. The contractors ( John/Erik) were really good, they didn't cut corners and made sure I was happy every step of the way. We are really happy with the workmanship, quality and responsiveness of the customer service. They have been very good about fixing any small issues that come up post renovation. With NYKB I believe you get what you pay for in terms of quality , service and a coordinated effort with all members of their team which means minimal headache/stress for the client. Most issues that we had were mostly either supply chain issues ( Post covid) or delays with our condo/DOB approvals but NYKB did what they could to minimize this. The end result is beautiful and we are really happy with the finished product.

NYKB is a high end renovation company that I chose for a kitchen and bath project on my apartment. I bought my apartment 40 years ago and it needed a major renovation. I did a fair amount of due diligence before selecting them for my project. They were by far the most responsive of the firms that I met with. They were willing to meet in my apartment within a few days. We met in my apartment; discussed the project and then met in their offices a few days later to view computer generated ideas of what the finished project would look like. Selecting them for the renovation was a great decision. They have a fantastic staff that helped transform an aging apartment into a beautiful modern apartment. They handled the approval process with my building’s board, assigned a designer and project manager to work with me throughout the project and made useful suggestions throughout the project with ideas that improved the project. These ideas included new floors, new heating system and major electrical/lighting upgrades. By the end of the project, they had transformed an old apartment into a beautiful modern apartment. Buying the apartment 40 years ago was a wonderful decision and upgrading the apartment with NYKB was a similar experience/decision. We had a great experience working with Sarah and Michael at NYKB. We did a kitchen remodeling, flooring, paint, and lighting fixture update throughout the entire 2 Bed Apartment. Sarah has to be one of the most patient people I've ever met...she so chill but organized and responsive. Michael is such a kind and hardworking person and I appreciated his regular status updates. They demonstrated the utmost professionalism and had the industry insight necessary to get the job done. My wife and I are very pleased with our NYKB bathroom. We went through two contractors who were unable or unwilling to get their plan approved by our difficult coop board. NYKB has professional facilitators on staff so they breezed through approvals. The project was renovating a second bathroom in a 1920’s era building that had originally been a coat closet so although it was a small space the project was complex. Mikey the project manager was knowledgeable and experienced. He gave us valuable advice on the best way to deal with concrete walls and the other joys of 1920’s construction. Unlike horror stories I’ve heard about other contractors who don’t show up and finish way behind schedule, the workers came when Mikey said they would and the job was finished essentially on time. This is all great but what really impressed me was how they handled a small leak around the shower doorI emailed Perry (the owner of NYKB) he came by my apartment literally the next morning. He apologized and immediately fixed the problem. I think you can learn a lot about a business by how they treat you after they have your money. NYKB was exceptionally responsive and helpful. I am very pleased with the way my kitchen turned out. Sharon's design captured all of my top priorities and took my budget into account. The start was delayed (for reasons on both sides, covid etc) and once it began there was initially a lot of chaos, changes in project manager, and lack of communication. After Michael Avidor took over, he went above and beyond to make everything proceed smoothly and communication was great. The project was more expensive than anticipated for a variety of reasons and I appreciated being offered an additional payment plan to help with the unexpected expenses. There were mistakes with invoices more than once so it's always good to keep your own records to avoid issues. I now have a very happy and functional place to cook and do laundry.

Although it took longer than anticipated because Covid held up delivery of my appliances, working with NYKB was well worth the wait. They handled everything, beginning with the complicated process of working with the managing agent of my Brooklyn condo until the work was completed, making certain everything was perfect and to my liking by the project’s end. I came to NYKB with sketches of what I wanted and Ana did a wonderful job of executing the design. When the materials I chose were outside my budget Ana came up with alternatives that I liked more than what I originally chose. She steered me towards suppliers who NYKB had a relationship with, resulting in competitive prices on everything from the appliances to the hardware without compromising service or style. My project manager Michael was on top of the job every step of the way. He kept me up to date, explaining the process to me, including what to expect and how long it would likely take. On the one occasion when a problem arose it was resolved without any extended discussion or hassle. I always knew who was coming, when they were coming and the work they were going to do when they were there. Any question I had was answered in a timely manner and more importantly in a way that was easy for me to understand. The cabinet maker and his crew did an outstanding job. They were professional, respectful of my home and belongings. Before demolition they set up barriers between my open kitchen and living space to minimize the dust and debris. At the end of each work day the kitchen and surrounding area was vacuumed from top to bottom. Most importantly, I cannot say enough about the quality of their work and the respect they demonstrated towards my building staff and me. The end result is a kitchen that I absolutely love! It is everything I could have imagined and hoped for, the work came in at budget without surprise extra costs and was done in a timely manner. I recommend them highly and without reservation. I was excited when I bought my first apartment in Manhattan. The master bathroom and the kitchen were so out dated, they were a disaster. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know where to look, I was new to the city so I decided to Google: Home renovation companies. This is how I found NYKB. When I called up, I explained that I didn't know where to begin so they schedule a design consultation. The company designer came to my apartment gave me an estimate on the project and provided me with references…i called a few and was impressed. I decided to hire them, Kate took on the project like a pro as well as the project manager, Kerwyn. Every minor issue I had throughout the process, they were able to answer instantly. I know construction can be a headache and I kind of braced myself for it. But, NYKB really came through as true professionals. I am so happy that I encountered them! Working in a condo building is not easy, but the work was done quickly and professionally. I never had any complaints or issues from the management company and the results were BEAUTIFUL! I have worked with several contractors over the years and this was by far one of the best experiences I've had. Don't hesitate to call Perry and his team - you will not be disappointed!

I wanted to renovate my kitchen and 2 bathrooms and some other areas around the house 2 years ago. I reached out to a few kitchen and bath renovation companies that I found online. Some didn't answer at all and some took weeks to answer. NYKB was always the first one to get back to me no matter what question I had. That being said, I decided to work with Sharon (NYKB's designer). From the first meeting, Sharon (and the team) has been as responsive as someone can be. The very few times that Sharon wasn't available when I called, I called the office and she returned my calls immediately. Communication, among other factors, is crucial in such a long-term "relationship" and NYKB excelled. No matter if you do a renovation or a new house construction, at some point you will run into unwanted surprises and unforeseen circumstances. Gio, the assigned project manager has always been very proactive in finding solutions and coming up with different ideas, not just executing existing and approved plans. He has given great advice and saved me many headaches, time and money. NYKB did a great job from the beginning to the end, from submitting the plans for permitting, project coordination and execution, time management and general planning and always with flexibility for (last minute) changes. And, we made plenty of them! NYKB did an outstanding, high quality rough work with a great eye for detail when it comes to the nitty gritty details inside that take lots of time. Communication, time management and functionality, professionalism, flexibility, ideas, proactivity, 100% effort and quality at a reasonable price! We have used NYKB for several projects, which indicates how happy we are with their work and working with them. They have renovated two bathrooms for us and then our whole apartment, from top to bottom. Excellent job on all counts.

Sharon and the NYKB team made my dream kitchen a reality. When I first met with her, I had a vision of what I wanted and with a few of her recommendations my kitchen turned out even better then I imagined. She took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. Furthermore, from start to finish, Kerwyn, the project manager was constantly in contact with me updating me on the status of my kitchen. The NYKB team was always on time and very professional. I honestly have not one complaint and would use them again in a heartbeat. I am in love with my kitchen.

BAIT AND SWITCH DECEPTIVE CONTRACTS We had a horrible experience with NYKB who, based on our interactions, takes full advantage of their clients. After reviewing our proposed bathroom renovation project, the decorators sent us a contract and we paid our deposit. We were told that the contract would cover our renovation project and that we would get “preferred pricing” with their vendors. Much to our surprise, several weeks later, they sent an invoice titled “Additional Building Requirements” for $75,000 for “waterproofing” and “redoing the branch pluming”. Really? After questioning this invoice, we were told that most high-end buildings in Manhattan require these additional items. Since they only do kitchens and bathrooms, they are clearly aware of this, and deceptively omit this from any conversations and the initial contract. This is a total bait and switch deceptive technique to lure potential clients into working with them at what they disguise as a much-reduced cost. Since you have already signed the initial contract and they have your deposit, they now overcharge you for these additional items. Shameful. In addition, we were told by the decorators that NYKB has “preferred vendors” and that NYKB will pass along their discounts, but this is also very misleading. They upcharge you for everything from glass shower doors, cabinetry, stone tops, tile, and plumbing fixtures. All of these invoices come on an NYKB letterhead, and they refuse to show you their actual costs. To do a comparison, we sent out quotes for all these other items and they were 40% to 50% less from other venders, but NYKB won’t let you use other vendors, so you are stuck in their web of deceit which is clearly another bait and switch. In reading other honest reviews of NYKB (not the ones that appear to be posted by the owner’s friends and relatives), they have taken advantage of many other New Yorkers. Run, don’t walk, away from this company. If you are so inclined to hire them, stop by your local bank and take out a second mortgage as you will undoubtedly need it!!!!

I had a great experience with NYKB; I hired them to renovate the Master Bedroom with a Bathroom; Laundry Room and Office in my Manhattan condo. NYKB took care of everything from beginning to end; they did all the Architectural plans and filed all permits with the Building department; the end results came out beautifully. I must add that the designer Sarah who worked on my project was great at answering questions at all times and at any time. Use this company for your project, you won't regret it!

We couldn't be happier with the quality of our NYKB bathroom renovation and the professional services of our designer Sharon Ben Shushan and our contractor Mike Marzullo. They turned our small, dark space into a bright, elegant bathroom, working around numerous quirks in our pre-war apartment to deliver exactly what we wanted. Mike and his crew showed up on time every day and worked quickly but carefully to finish the project on time. NYKB may cost more than some other places, but you get what you pay for, and they delivered a high-end, no-corners-cut renovation that we love.

I cannot recommend NYKB highly enough. I actually reached out to them based on their Yelp reviews, but you never know if they will actually be as good as people say -- and in my experience they were! I had water damage in my ceiling from an apartment above, Steve from NYKB came out and did so much more than just give a quote -- he was able to guide me on how to move forward in terms of dealing with the insurance company and what to beware of i.e. mold building. I truly believe their their experience and true approach to customer service prevented me from an even more costly renovation. For the actual job, I worked with Perry. Part of the job entailed removing some tiles carefully so they didn't break as they would need to be re-installed (after they were able to look for water damage behind the wall). They did this extremely carefully and meticulously and no damage occurred. He finished the job on time and on budget, and the apartment was perfectly cleaned after the job. Even minor home renovations can be intimidating, and it definitely pays to go with someone who you can trust. I was worried working with someone I hadn't in the past, but now I know I would definitely work with NYKB again and recommend them to others.

From our initial design consultation to the final punch list NYKB made it easy and performed professionally. After seeing how perfectly our bathroom came out we had NYKB oversee a mini-split AC installation and repaint our son's room. We are thrilled with the results. Anthony our designer and Roy our project manager were flexible and made sure we were happy even after we had them add and change the project as needed. Our AC install required some fancy work but the workers Roy sent always did neat professional work and were happy to help get it just right. From the demo to the beautiful tile work to the painting, the team at NYKB did a fantastic job on our bathroom, AC install and son's room. We are happy we went with them.

Our main bathroom in our townhouse home of 30 years sprung a set of three leaks, from behind a vanity, under the shower floor and in a toilet gasket. The leaking caused considerable damage to the marble tile floor in the bathroom. It was stained dark brown from all the leaking water running underneath it. The shower floor was completely rotted out, such that the water from the shower floor was running straight down into the space between the floor and the ceiling below. One of the bathroom sink vanities housing one of the leaky pipes was rotted out from the leaking water; and the water pouring down to the floor below cracked/crumbled the old plaster ceilings. NYKB was terrific. They helped us deal with our insurance company to submit a claim and compile an estimate for the repairs, which was critical to the whole process. With the insurance company approvals, NYKB then led us through the next phase of viewing/picking/ordering new repair materials; these included new marble tile for the floor and shower body, a new shower door, new shower fixtures, a new vanity and two new toilets. The bathroom walls were also repainted to match the new tile floor. The result was amazing and the whole bathroom has been transformed. Next, NYKB had to fix the ceilings below in two large rooms. It was not easy, because they were old plaster ceilings with metal lath. NYKB’s expert plasterer repaired and painted both damaged ceilings and restored them to look brand new. In a separate project, NYKB also fixed a leaky faucet in an upstairs bathtub, which had caused considerable staining in the tub. All the mineral stains were scrubbed away. NYKB replaced the sink and shower fixtures and medicine cabinet, replaced the toilet and painted the walls - their work helped us recapture a good as new bathroom that we had previously closed off as unusable. I would highly recommend NYKB for any and all bathroom/kitchen renovations and repairs. Perry Hiiman was courteous and professional throughout the process, and his experienced, trustworthy staff installed everything with exceptional workmanship. We would definitely hire NYKB for future repair/renovation work in our home, and highly recommend them.

The permitting and approval process was long and involved but NYKB worked through it for us and once we started the designer truly captured our vision for the apartment - a crisp, clean, modern look. We recently used NYKB to renovate our bathroom in midtown Manhattan. We chose them for the design services provided. Designing the bathroom and choosing tiles and fixtures was made easy by the support of their team. We renovated the entire bathroom, changing out a bathtub for a stand-up shower and adding a custom linen cabinet, in addition to a new vanity, medicine cabinet and light fixture. They also re-tiled the floor and walls and replaced all the plumbing. The renovation process had a project manager who ensured all the work was done well and acted as a liaison between us and the contractors. The pricing was great for all the service provided; most of the costs were from materials, where you can spend however much you want depending on your own budget. The service was excellent and all encompassing including managing the permits and materials vendors. We are very happy with the finished look and highly recommend NYKB for both small and large jobs.

NYKB performed a gut renovation of our apartment. This was a complex renovation including creating a new kitchen, two new bathrooms with plumbing changes, new floors, walls, storage areas, and windows. It also included an electrical upgrade and an HVAC installation. During the demolition, significant structural damage was discovered in multiple beams. NYKB led the remediation efforts for this which involved obtaining a DOB permit to shut down the street, hiring a crane and operator to transport the beams into the apartment, and installing the beams to meet the building code. This was an unexpected complication, and NYKB handled it very well. As with any large renovation, there are issues that need to be worked through. What we value the most is NYKB’s warranty. NYKB has always honored this, and it is reassuring to know that we can contact them if necessary to fix something. Having the NYKB owner Perry involved and a person to escalate to has been valuable. And we were impressed with Steve and Pablo’s skill, efficiency and professionalism.

The thought of doing any renovation in NYC could make anyone cringe. My first experience (not with NYKB) taught me how everything can go wrong especially when you are working with the wrong company. NYKB has renewed my faith in NYC renovations. They are a company that knows how to get the job done. The full-service / turn-key resources make it easy. They know the questions to ask, how to fulfill your vision (or help you design a vision) -- and how to make it happen. Can things go wrong? Sure. But NYKB knows how to fix and will make it all 'right'. We did 3 bathrooms simultaneously (a challenge by any means) but it was the right decision. They met the timeframe goals - and are so good at having all materials "waiting and ready" so there are little holdups. Most importantly, their attention to detail, follow up skills and resources are excellent. Having a personal project manager made all the difference for my peace-of-mind. Pablo was on-site almost everyday and reachable 'on call' whenever I needed. I would use them again but only if Nick Ellen and Pablo were on my job. No, they are not the least expensive company around -- but you get what you pay for!

A project manager and designer is assigned to each project. My bathroom was completely gutted for renovation and my project mgr. Pablo Porras was there to insure the work stayed on track at every step. Designer Ellen Schott was always in close communication. Ellen made the best recommendations and assisted in the selections of the fixtures and tiles for my space. She came up with ideas to help add storage space and shelving that were really key to making it work. The end result is beautiful and as they say “it’s all in the details”.

I hired NYKB to do a complete gut renovation of my kitchen and bathroom, along with an electrical upgrade in both rooms and moving a gas line in the kitchen. I did my renovation on my own which can be a daunting and scary process, especially in NYC where you don’t want to be taken advantage of. I also live in a coop building which can add some additional approval steps. The NYKB team really does a good job of understanding the client and individual situation. The team was super easy to work with throughout the process, from reviewing the space and putting together design, to setting up all the pieces of the actual renovation process. Their showroom is great – they have full installs to look at and they carry different vendors for cabinets, countertops etc. from which you can order. They make it easy to book appointments at the showroom for each next step and they are very good about sticking to the appointment dates and times– they were also able to meet in the evening if working late and their showroom is open one day on the weekends which really helps a lot if you want to come in to see what they have and get ideas. For the process, I got a response quickly after I first inquired with NYKB. They do an initial visit to your home to get an idea of what you want to do, see the space, take measurements. I had sent them an online photobook of inspiration as well to help in the design process. They then put together designs and bring you in to get your feedback and changes and they really listen to what you want. Once the design is done, you move on to picking all the materials needed and a timeline is laid out based on the start date identified. They will even meet you at the vendors like tile and countertops to help you pick the right materials for the design. As part of the price they also manage the information that needs to go to a coop board for approval, the communication with the building as well as setting up the necessary insurance and trade functions. Once the renovation starts, they moved quickly. They show up every day on time like they say they will and they work the full day. My building is very strict about when work can be done and they followed the rules with no issues. They had all the proper inspections done and had no issues there either which is great. They clean up after themselves and their teams are very polite and nice when they come to your home. They take care of removing everything after demolition and then bring the materials as needed to your location for installation. All in all, I had a great experience with NYKB and am very happy with the renovation. Nick is a great designer and Tracie who runs the showroom is amazing at keeping things moving along. The full team is trustworthy and works very hard for the client. Renovation in NYC is a huge undertaking – my advice is to ask all the questions you can think of, listen to their advice and make sure each decision is what is best for you, understand all the pricing and what is included and separate. It is a lot of details to manage but NYKB really makes it as painless as possible and they really want to make sure you are happy with how it is going and happy with the end result. Highly recommend!

I called them last week to make an appointment to see a designer, and some one called Tracey picked the call, took my info and said she's going to set up an appointment right away, same day. A week has gone and no one contacted me, so I walked in to the showroom today, and told them what happened. Then they set me up with another lady but she clearly didn't want to talk to me in detail about the design or my requirements, and clearly didn't have any intention to take my business. I was really disappointed and walked away. Very bad customer experience.

While we didn't purchase a product from NYKB due to location, they were able to answer all of our design questions and help us locate a renovator in the LA area! Couldn't have been happier with the service! Thank you, NYKB!

What a good experience at NYKB. Something unique to this company is the wealth of extra information and interior design ideas they bought into the re-modelling. I had quite a small window bay and wanted to maximize light as much as possible whilst incorporating a favorite style of mine, thick heavy brocade curtains. They suggested mounting the curtain poles as close as possible to the ceiling and at the same time extending the poles to way further than the recesses of the window so they can be drawn right back. I wouldn't have naturally thought of this myself ad was very satisfied with the results.

I own a restaurant in NJ and recently refurbished the restrooms. The NYKB show rooms were fantastic, enabling me to browse easily and make choices based on complete designs instead of using rough drafts and a lot of imagination. The main feature in the bathrooms is a marble splash back, an exquisite piece of art, and using NYKB in a commercial setting was particularly useful as they spent time explaining which products were durable and able to withstand heavy usage. I signed a contract at the end of April and by mid-June all is up and running.

I had an amazing experience with the NYKB team and wouldn't hesitate hiring them again in future. I did a fairly small bathroom job - one upstairs one down - and two specifics stood out with the NYKB bathroom designers... 1) They followed through with each commitment they made to us - always keeping us updated with costs and arrival of materials so no surprise bills at the end. 2) Business Ethics: They are honest with high integrity - The primary goal was to create the best design for both bathrooms at a cost-effective price.

The NYKB reviews speak for themselves. I was looking for some individual attention and original ideas to re-do my kitchen and wanted a drastic change. Not only did NYKB home improvements help me arrange this, but the pricing was fully transparent, from start to finish. We knew from the outset that to do a fancy island would cost us more (and how much), and they worked with us to make sure the project fit our budget and our family's needs without ending in any unpleasant last minute expenses. Furthermore clean-up was great. We could use the surrounding rooms every day because the crew vacuumed and cleaned the entire area, every day. This made a huge difference in ensuring that the project did not cause a greater disruption than necessary, and,although it was difficult to live without a kitchen for three weeks with little kids, the challenge was made easier by the NYKB team and the end results were so fantastic that its all long forgotten.

Unlike other contractors we have worked with, these guys don't stop until they finish the job—and the job they do is nothing short of extraordinary. What could have been a very stressful renovation turned out to be almost a breeze—we are very relieved to have had NYKB do the job. We're in the middle of planning our next job...the BEDROOMS!!!

Throughout the planning stages of our hallway and bathroom, NYKB was always prompt in getting back to us and quick to offer tips that steered us away from bad decisions. Our order was delivered by two very polite gentlemen who carried everything upstairs to await installation by a third party. Will be using them when we redo our kitchen!

This was the most trouble free reno I have ever done. After interviewing several contractors, NYKB appeared to be the most interested in my small but old bathroom and had good suggestions e.g. heated towel rail instead of ugly old radiator and linoleum which makes the floor warmer to stand on instead of tiles. The NYKB workers did a wonderful job, clean up was perfect and craftsmanship excellent. I would highly recommend this company.

The service I received from NYKB Remodelling was second to none. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and we hired a contractor and interior designer from them to take the workload off our shoulders. Their expertise managed to create a beautiful warm atmosphere in our house with subtle tones of browns, creams and blues. I recommend this business and am happy to add to NYKB reviews.

We were shopping for a modern kitchen and compared all the remodelling and kitchen retailers in our area. We found that NYKB was providing a good medium between quality and price (still not cheap). The staff was helpful and patient, really trying to understand and assist us. The quality of the installation was excellent as well - and surprisingly fast. We had a few issues along the way which resulted in the job taking longer than we first anticipated but NYKB were very proactive in fixing them and trying to find a reasonable compromise to get things finished.

At least two of our neighbours have recently re-decorated with NYKB and they have come highly recommended. My wife and I wanted to extend our kitchen for our expanding family and thought that it was time to up-date our 20 year old counters and cupboards. The transformation was incredible. NYKB provided us with all the latest in kitchen gadgets and we couldn't have managed without their professional knowledge in organising what should be where.

I recently re-decorated my downstairs bathroom. I moved into a new house about six months ago and with so many more substantial jobs I overlooked the small room. When it was time to redecorate it there wasn't much cash left and NYKB were working on a pretty tight budget. The ability to create a classy clean look for cheap is in their hands. The construction workers were friendly yet unobtrusive and worked long and hard to finish the project well within the deadline. Although I haven't used them for a very big redecorating job, I highly recommend NYKB.

Kudos to NYKB, they helped me maximise the space in my small L shaped kitchen. I gave them my budget and they honoured their word and kept to it.
