The kitchen has a large island, a walk-in pantry, a small breakfast area and access to a large deck. All of this program is capped by a rooftop deck with expansive views of Seattle’s urban landscape and Lake Union. Unfortunately for our clients, a job relocation to Southern California forced a sale of their dream home a little more than a year after they settled in after a year project. The good news is that in Seattle’s tight housing market, in less than a week they received several full price offers with escalator clauses which allowed them to turn a nice profit on the deal.

The 20-year old deck on a Warson Woods, MO home had water and moisture damage, and the owners also longed for access from the deck to the backyard. Mosby built a new structure whose decking, railings, gate and new stairwell are an Azek composite, for low maintenance. A vinyl undershield creates a water-diverting roof for the ground-level patio. So the Lighting on the home and landscape is intentionally disguised from the neighbors mostly from some good landscaping on the boundary and larger Trees and Planters creating a sole sanctuary. However as you you approach closer on the owner's property the vistas of the home begin to become surreal and incredibly "large like" as lighting defines space and there is a lot of Space to be seen with the home and landscape. It was such a pleasure to work with the homeowners as their appreciation for light and realization of the benefits for light escalated right into the backyard Landscape and Outdoor Living space.
