Using various online photos and DIY descriptions, I laid these out and, with the help of two friends, built them. Woman Power! I think my total expense was about $400. I had pipe sections cut at the store and used pine stepping (nice and thick and has the bullnose) that I bought from my local hardware store (under $200). I degreased the pipe (did not paint it) and used a prestain (essential for pine) and stain on the wood, followed by linseed oil. I love the shelves!

This modern dining room uses a mosaic wallpaper design with white gold which gives a touch of elegance to any room. This pattern comes in three standard color options but the design can be customized to be any color combination. The wallpaper design is called Essential 1.

The hardscape is the backbone of your home’s exterior design. Over the years your plants will bloom, die, and be replaced, but your hardscape will outlive it all. The essential hardscape features, such as your concrete, pavers, retaining walls, and walkways provide the foundation for all other aspects of your outdoor living.

This unique design wastes not an inch of the trailer it's built on. The shower is constructed in such a way that it extends outward from the rest of the bathroom and is supported by the tongue of the trailer. This tropical modern coastal Tiny Home is built on a trailer and is 8x24x14 feet. The blue exterior paint color is called cabana blue. The large circular window is quite the statement focal point for this how adding a ton of curb appeal. The round window is actually two round half-moon windows stuck together to form a circle. There is an indoor bar between the two windows to make the space more interactive and useful- important in a tiny home. There is also another interactive pass-through bar window on the deck leading to the kitchen making it essentially a wet bar. This window is mirrored with a second on the other side of the kitchen and the are actually repurposed french doors turned sideways. Even the front door is glass allowing for the maximum amount of light to brighten up this tiny home and make it feel spacious and open. This tiny home features a unique architectural design with curved ceiling beams and roofing, high vaulted ceilings, a tiled in shower with a skylight that points out over the tongue of the trailer saving space in the bathroom, and of course, the large bump-out circle window and awning window that provides dining spaces.

This front yard had to also act as a clients back yard. The existing back yard is a ravine, so there is little room to functionally use it. This created a design element to create a sense of space/privacy while also allowing the Mid Century Modern Architecture to shine through. (and keep the feel of a front yard) We used concrete walls to break up the rooms, and guide people into the front entrance. We added IPE details on the wall and planters to soften the concrete, and Ore Inc aluminum containers with a rust finish to frame the entrance. The Aspen trees break the horizontal plane and are lit up at night, further defining the front yard. All the trees are on color lights and have the ability to change at the click of a button for both holidays, and seasonal accents. The slate chip beds keep the bed lines clean and clearly define the planting ares versus the lawn areas. The walkway is one monolithic pour that mimics the look of large scale pavers, with the added function of smooth,set-in-place, concrete.

This essentially new Marina home is the result of a complete renovation with addition to a plain 2-story dwelling. The result is a 4-story Mediterranean home that creates a dialogue with, but does not mimic, the adjacent historic home in a similar style.
