PRE-TEEN BEDROOMS Time Frame: 6 Weeks // Budget: $10,000 // Design Fee: $2,500 Here is a small project I took on over the summer to help a past client design her young son’s bedrooms. She didn’t want to spend a lot of money, knowing that someday her boys will want to change their rooms, but also wanted to create something that they would like now, and could grow in to. She had a Feng Sui expert evaluate the space first. Going off of the expert’s advice, I came up with space plans for each room that adhered to Feng Sui. I designed the rooms based off the boy’s favorite colors. New furniture, custom window coverings, paint and decor were selected to give the boy’s each a special room of their own.

Inspiration for a coastal bathroom remodel in Grand Rapids

The Phi Delta Theta house in Davis, California has been rooted in generations of use. The home was originally occupied in 1916 by the Calpha Agricultural Fraternity that eventually evolved into the California chapter of Phi Delta Theta. The original building was evaluated for renovation in the early 2000’s and it was determined renovation was impractical. The building was demolished and design was completed to maintain the original character of the building’s deep historical roots. Monley Cronin was selected and completed full reconstruction of the facility in 2013. Much of the exterior appearance and character of the building was maintained in the new facility. A client in New Jersey called IDEAL Home Theaters of NJ for a consultation about the TV, audio and WiFi setup he wanted in several rooms of his beautiful Saddle River home. Owner John Carter and the IDEAL team visited the client to provide a no-obligation evaluation and estimate for the work; our proposal included installation of all equipment (other than the monitors, speakers and remote controls, of course) in the attic.
