A talented interior designer was ready for a complete redo of her 1980s style kitchen in Chappaqua. Although very spacious, she was looking for better storage and flow in the kitchen, so a smaller island with greater clearances were desired. The cooking center includes a small Wolf Range was selected both for the great cooking appliance that it is and for the red knobs. The Interstyle Glass Tile backsplash with the red inlay and black edging complement the entire kitchen color palette. The Stainless steel range hood from Faber works well and looks great. The unusual cupboard configuration was done specifically for the look, but also provides excellent storage. The overall look is completed by the black electric devices with the stainless steel covers.

This side entry is most-used in this busy family home with 4 kids, lots of visitors and a big dog . Re-arranging the space to include an open center Mudroom area, with elbow room for all, was the key.
