The color palette was fashion-inspired with unexpected color combinations like smoky violet and tiger-eye gold backed with metallic and warm neutrals.
Our design included cosmetic reconstruction of the fireplace, mosaic tile improvements to the kitchen, artistic custom wall finishes and introduced new materials to the Portland market. The process was a whirlwind of early mornings, late nights and weekends. “With an extremely short timeline with large demands, this Street of Dreams challenged me in extraordinary ways that made me a better project manager, communicator, designer and partner to my vendors.”

Eldorado StoneThe design goal of this home was to create an old English cottage. Francis Garcia of Francis Garcia Architect studied the architecture of aged English cottages through photos as well as referenced various homes in Carmel, CA. In search of a stone to complement the client’s stylistic goals, Eldorado Stone’s York Limestone proved to be exactly what they were looking for. The sense of age and authenticity in conjunction with a consistent color palette and profile cut produced the exact feel Garcia was hoping to recreate. Having experienced a great deal of success with the installation, both Francis Garcia and Ken Blaise of Blaise Construction & Development receive a great deal of requests from people inquiring about the kind of stone that brought such a strong sense of authenticity to the client’s home.

Progressive Design BuildAfter putting in a new swimming pool, our client’s main goal was to create a functional outdoor living space that would accommodate friends and family and satisfy their need for entertaining large groups of people.
Progressive Design Build designed a solution that started with a large covered patio and seating area. The renovation focused on building a grilling station that included a curved granite countertop with an area for seating at the end of the cabinet run; and a large grill and hood vent, which allowed for an adequate cooking surface area to accommodate any occasion. We matched the existing brick pavers from an existing area of the home to create a cohesive look and maintain the rustic feel of the backyard. The cabinets were built out of Cypress and stained to match the finish of the newly installed wood patio ceiling.
We were also able to supply and install a new fire pit so this family could enjoy the beautiful Florida sunsets with friends and family—the ones we Southwest Florida residents have the privilege of experiencing and enjoying throughout the year.
