The shape of the angled porch-roof, sets the tone for a truly modern entryway. This protective covering makes a dramatic statement, as it hovers over the front door. The blue-stone terrace conveys even more interest, as it gradually moves upward, morphing into steps, until it reaches the porch.
Porch Detail
The multicolored tan stone, used for the risers and retaining walls, is proportionally carried around the base of the house. Horizontal sustainable-fiber cement board replaces the original vertical wood siding, and widens the appearance of the facade. The color scheme — blue-grey siding, cherry-wood door and roof underside, and varied shades of tan and blue stone — is complimented by the crisp-contrasting black accents of the thin-round metal columns, railing, window sashes, and the roof fascia board and gutters.
This project is a stunning example of an exterior, that is both asymmetrical and symmetrical. Prior to the renovation, the house had a bland 1970s exterior. Now, it is interesting, unique, and inviting.

10x12 Studio Shed home office - Lifestyle Interior plus our added height option. The standard height of most models is 8'6" but you can choose to add 1 or even 2 extra feet of ceiling height. Our small kit "Pinyon" sits perpendicular to the office, holding garden tools and other supplies in a 4x8 footprint. The concrete pad, which extends to serve as the interior floor as well, was poured and stained by the home owner once the design phase of his project was complete.

The family room is our relaxing room with a fire place in the corner, a 72" High Def TV surrounded by natural stone. The floors are Hickory wood 3/4" thick with hydronic heating under the wood floors. This room has an abundance of natural light.

Lavender walls add a soft glow. Very spa like. White Glassos floor tile with silver leaf 1-in tile border. Wall tile from walker Zanger's Moderne collection. Rainshower showerhead with wall mounted hand held shower.

A black powdered metal skeleton buttresses an all wood structure with two extendable side panels to help you comfortably sit all of your (extra) guests. A walnut veneer protects the natural wood fiber so that the Thoren will retain its original glory for the duration of its lifetime. Four block legs lend to the influence of Scandinavian design.
DISCLAIMER: This item is constructed of natural wood veneer and maintains all its original characteristics before manufacturing, including all grain patterns and tones. Tones on both the left and right panels may vary slightly to the center panel.
