Crafted by designer Wayne Chevalier of Studio Bracket, this beautiful home was built for a longtime car enthusiast and his wife with entertaining in mind. Thanks to Series 600 Multi-Slide and Sliding Glass Doors located in almost every room of this house, the homeowners are able to extend their living spaces to the beautiful koi pond, backyard or swimming pool with ease. Inspired by Mid-Century Modern architecture, the doors and Series 600 Window Walls create an open, light-filled structure that feels luxurious yet comfortable.

This was a really fun project to work on where the owners provided a lot of design and inspiration and we were able to work hand-in-hand with them to renovate their dream home to reality. This is truly is a project where the before and after photos (see below) tell almost the full story. We provided a significant renovation as well as provided the inclusion of a new deck which extended the footprint of the home. All the exterior beam-work and overhangs were milled by a local sawmill right down the road.

This small apartment is an occasional get away for a Colorado family. Starting with a concrete shell each custom element was carefully placed to complete this modern unit. Custom veneer paneling, glass pocket doors, stainless counters, etched glass panels, aluminum finned grills and a suspended wine refrigerator are just a few of the components. "Away in the Woods" is a 720-square-foot timber frame retreat designed as a quiet, three-season escape. Nestled in Sandilands North and completed in 2009, this White Pine structure by Cornerstone Timberframes features a striking king post truss that spans the central living area, creating an open, lodge-like atmosphere without the need for interior load-bearing walls. Designed to harmonize with its forest setting, the retreat includes a galley-style kitchen, a cozy wood stove, and a 12x24-foot deck that extends over a nearby creek. Subtle architectural details, like the gentle curve of the roof eaves, highlight the refined craftsmanship of this intimate woodland getaway.

This one story home was transformed into a mid-century modern masterpiece with the addition of a second floor. Its expansive wrap around deck showcases the view of White Rock Lake and the Dallas Skyline and giving this growing family the space it needed to stay in their beloved home. We renovated the downstairs with modifications to the kitchen, pantry, and laundry space, we added a home office and upstairs, a large loft space is flanked by a powder room, playroom, 2 bedrooms and a jack and jill bath.
