This dining room is a great space for large gatherings. The soft colors make the room feel serene, but the pops of orange in the centerpiece and jewel colors in the artwork create some interest that tie things together. For this young couple, the lighting really needed to be unique and not seen in every new construction project. Cut velvet fabric on the back of dining chairs adds a cool texture and pattern to the space, while the leather seats make for maintenance friendly dining. The arched windows are framed by simple silk drapery panels to let in just enough light, and the custom light-colored rug creates a great anchor for the beautiful wood dining table. The iron base is all about modern/contemporary styling and supports a top made of solid exotic Indian Acacia wood, known for its unique grain and rich color. Like all natural rustic furniture each piece will have cracks that may widen over time, this is called checking and is highly prized in the world of rustic furniture and buildings. This is a natural occurrence and will not in any way affect the structural integrity of the piece. The wood for your piece has been expertly seasoned in a long slow process which helps control and maintain even moisture levels giving you a superior product. You may see Acacia wood used outdoors but this piece has been made for indoor use only. This table is very easy to care for, simply wipe the piece with a clean cloth after unpacking to help achieve its natural appearance. You may use an application of beeswax or brie wax when you wish to rejuvenate your piece. Dining table for 6 people. Our client needed to create a formal dining space that would allow for plenty of guests to sit comfortably. We created this modern dining space with Ethan Allen Hadley Upholstered chair with nailhead accents. This long, beautiful dining table allows for double chandeliers, creating a statement look.

The light coming from the windows makes this LH 16 table look beautiful.

Design Firm - Lee Meier Interiors The patterns, colors and furniture plan all played important roles in this individualistic dining room. Moving the dining table to the back wall rather then the center of the room allowed the opportunity to add a long beautiful banquette with flanking bookcases. I turned the paper to be hung horizontal to get a more modern stripe and that coordinates well with the sheers. The unique dining chairs feature a Malachite patterned fabric with emerald mohair seats while the banquette has many different patterned pillows adding a nice warmth to the room. The two Shagreen bookcases give more space which dining rooms tend to lack to add personalized accessories and frames.
