Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 Precision Home Installation
This project features the professional installation of the next-generation Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 system. Known for their upgraded brightness and enhanced color rendering, these lights require a precise, calculated layout—especially since the manufacturer guidelines restrict cutting into the main line, presenting a unique installation challenge.
Key Features of This Installation:
Next-Gen Exterior Illumination: Outfitted with the newly released Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2, delivering brilliant architectural down-lighting, incredible holiday presets, and daily accent lighting.
Creative Technical Problem Solving: Because these specialized strands could not be cut without voiding the integrity of the system, we meticulously engineered the run layout. To achieve a perfectly flush finish at the roofline edge, we successfully executed a custom shortening and capping technique on the final strands.
Flawless Eave Integration: The lights were mounted at the optimal distance from the fascia to ensure a perfectly uniform, triangular cone wash down the home's exterior walls, eliminating hot spots and dark gaps.
Smart Ecosystem Control: Fully integrated into the homeowner's smart ecosystem, allowing for voice control, scheduled automation, and endless customization through the native app interface.
Our Specialized Lighting Expertise
Smart lighting systems require more than just hanging a strand—they require precision planning. We specialize in handling high-end retail and commercial systems, providing:
Advanced Layout Mapping: Ensuring your runs look symmetrical and perfectly tailored to your roofline before a single clip is mounted.
Out-of-the-Box Troubleshooting: Finding safe, manufacturer-approved technical workarounds for complex roof lines where standard plug-and-play methods fall short.
Clean Wire Management: Tucking and hiding all jump wires and power supplies for a seamless daytime appearance.

The homeowner wanted to create a luxurious outdoor space. A one-of-a-kind design, the company combined Orco Villa stones and arranged them in a random pattern to create the outline of a small airplane which accents the shape of the swimming pool. The subtle earthy tones of the stones together create the perfect contrast between the rich blue of the pool water and green tones of the artificial turf installation.
What truly takes this design to the next level is the propeller design that was created using Holland stone in Charcoal. The company had the idea of creating a "starburst" effect with the colors, where the dark grey bursts into the a lighter brown (Chateau). To create the symmetrical, rounded shape the company used high end cutting machines to precisely cut each and every edge stone, ensuring they all lay perfectly together.
The company also installed red, green and white lights into the system which are reminiscent to the tail lights on a real airplane to create the some of the final touches. Despite being the statement design, the company tied in an alternating runner border in the Manor colorway to truly tie in the pool to the rest of the yard. By incorporating different elements of the back patio, such as the turf, water and overall shape, the company was able to accent the homeowner's front driveway as well.
Approximately 3,700 square feet in total, the company combined Orco Villa with Orco Antique Cobble Circle to create an open, welcoming entrance to a lovely home. The company took advantage of the naturally rounded edges of the home and created accents with the circle kit and border detail near an existing water fountain.
Similar to the "starburst" effect on the plane propeller, this was replicated on the each circle kit on the front entryway. The artificial turf border around the fountain paired with the Antique Cobble circle kit truly make this piece stand out.

This stunning kitchen highlights Cambrian Creek natural thin veneer from the Quarry Mill. Cambrian Creek is a classic real stone veneer cut into the dimensional (sawn-height) style. The stone is natural dolomitic limestone with the timeless colors of gold, buff and the occasional grey. The quarrying and production process for Cambrian Creek is quite impressive. The stone is cut from the ground in blocks roughly the size of a car. Then, the blocks get sawn or sliced as it is called into large sheets of stone in heights of 2.25”, 5” and 7.75”. The sheets are fed into the splitter where the hydraulic press breaks them every four inches. At this stage, the stone is considered building stone or full veneer. Finally, the pieces are run through the saw to create the beautiful thin veneer.

Crema Marfil Tile and the Waterjet Mosaic Multi-Purpose Beige Tile
The world keeps getting sophisticated and it’s hard to go by without noticing. And can we be amazed that this sophistication keeps creeping and has finally reach the house of the most moderately life-styled persons; even in their kitchens.
I case you don’t know what I’m driving at, it may be better if I break the good news to you about the crema marfil brand of tiles.
The first time I saw one, I was completely in awe. Much as tried, trust me, I could not differentiate the tile from natural marble; so clean and smoothly polished, tumbled finishes and they were such a delight to watch.
I finally chose to fall in love with one though; the Basket weave crema marfil tile. You could call it moderate but I would peg that at a higher standard. This finely polished surfaces of carefully interwoven model of nature were a comfort to touch and will pass as one of the best that I have ever reviewed in my years of experience with tiles and ceramics.
The Basket weave crema marfil tiles, you should know how it looks like from its name, will definitely be good for very natural settings including the floor for the summer hut on your lawn or the edges of your swimming pools and your kitchen floors and the list goes on. So this beautiful masterpiece has great prospects indeed and could prove to be extremely convenient for any commercial or residential architecture.
Of course this brand of tile could very well fit any purpose but the Basket weave model is preferred as a floor tile, considering its aesthetic quality and easy to clean nature. This natural stone or “gem” comes in various ranges and sizes. Most of the customers I interviewed about the crema marfil marble tiles were particularly excited about my personal favourite the Basket weave crema marfil tiles but others were equally excited about the Crema Marfil Marble Basket Mosaic Tileand the Crema Marfil hexagon mosaics and few others also liked the Crema Marfil herringbone mosaic and the Dark emperador marble.
So if you are yet to make the hard decision of choosing a range of tiles for one of your building project, well, there’s one that I can vouch for. The crema marfil brand of tiles. They come in many colors so just be ready to have a hard time making the difficult decision to choose. Remember to try the basket weave but if you don’t, any other crema marfil tile variation is a good choice well made.

All hail to an absolutely amazing Moroccan bedroom. Silk hand embroidered red fabric with an embroidered canopy. The pendant disk is made out of hand cut brass with beautiful detailed floral motifs. The small side sconces are made out of hand cut and hand sculpted silver. Finally the small table to the bottom right is made out of hand hammered brass.

This project involved finishing a basement space to create a clean, functional, and comfortable living area. The scope of work included installation of insulation to reduce sound transfer between floors, new drywall installation, recessed lighting, and electrical upgrades with new wiring connected to the main panel.
An egress window was installed to meet safety requirements and provide emergency exit access. The installation included cutting the foundation wall, installing the window well, gravel drainage system, and ensuring code compliance.
Existing tile flooring was maintained, while walls and ceilings were repaired, textured, and painted. Select areas were finished with decorative stucco to highlight the original brick for a unique design feature. Plumbing lines were adjusted as needed to allow proper drywall installation on the ceiling.
The final result is a bright and functional basement space suitable for comfortable daily use.

He wanted a lake house, she wanted a pool.
Tucked away on a small cul-de-sac in North Reading is a backyard oasis like no other.
“During our initial meeting with the homeowners, it became apparent that they wanted a unique pool, so we suggested a free-form gunite pool surrounded by an indigenous Goshen Stone patio, custom cut to create ultra-tight joints. The stone arrived in huge slabs — most over 5’ x 5’ in size — and varied significantly in thickness. Countless hours were spent cutting, chiseling, and even sandblasting this life-sized jigsaw puzzle. The final look was exactly what we were shooting for.” Russell
The pool itself has a dark, pebble finish with a long, custom bench and a simple, spillway stone creating a perfect respite with a calming sound. Surrounding the pool and patio is a lush lawn with large swatches of summertime perennials. The homeowner is an active gardener, so providing him with areas to hone his skills was paramount to our success as a design firm. Large, architectural boulders were carefully arranged throughout the rear yard as both design elements and as functional furniture. A custom-built, wood, wire, and split granite fence meets pool-enclosure requirements and adds that farmhouse-feel to the overall look. Carefully arranged Goshen step stone set flush in the lawn orchestrates movement throughout the garden while connecting the house and pool in a thoughtful, artistic way.
No need to travel north to the lake when you’ve got this to enjoy daily — right in your own backyard!

One morning, you’re starting your day as you normally would. Then you take a look at your closet, and it’s all the same.
There’s not much room for anything, and everything is a mess.
That was the daily routine for Mary, one of our recent Baton Rouge clients, until she decided she had finally had enough.
Little to No Closet Space: The Start of a Solution
Mary and her family moved into their new home in 2020, and they quickly realized they had had little to no closet space. Knowing that she needed that space for herself, she was inspired and wanted to see if she could turn a 10x12 office in her home into a closet.
Mary took charge and found us through an online search for closet installations, and she decided to give us a call. After speaking with our expert designer Felicity and sharing some photos she saw online, she decided to trust us with her closet installation.
“We had an instant connection and relationship,” Mary said. “Felicity was so down-to-earth and personable that a relationship was built immediately.”
Get the Ball Rolling: Designing and Constructing the Closet
Mary thought that the process was beautiful and simple. Felicity provided a 3D interactive design of the project and based it on Mary’s needs.
Mary said, “It felt like she was trying to accommodate my needs by using her knowledge of what I would need in my closet. It felt very natural.”
Felicity had a contractor she worked with closely. Together, they handled the project in two days, even with the crown molding that needed to be removed for the projected closet cabinets to reach the ceiling.
Once we finished, Mary was amazed at how quickly we finished the closet.
The Final Product: When Fashion and Functionality Work Together
“I love how everything has a place, is very organized, and can all be seen very quickly,” Mary said. Along with the closet’s functionality, Mary loves that her closet looks like a boutique showroom.
We were able to bring fashion and functionality to this closet with:
Showroom lights; makes it look more like a boutique rather than a closet
Hidden hamper
Separate space to see her purses and shoes
Jewelry drawer
Display cabinet for belts and scarves
Small closet for her four-year-old daughter to put her items in
See for yourself!
Saving Time and Stress Through The Day
Now Mary has cut down on both her time and wardrobe. Thanks to her new closet, finding an outfit each day is “quick and easy.”
She even entertains guests in her closet space, thanks to the showroom look we gave her closet.
What makes it better? The small closet inside helps her daughter find her things and keep organized.

I designed and assisted the homeowners with the materials, and finish choices for this project while working at Corvallis Custom Kitchens and Baths.
Our client (and my former professor at OSU) wanted to have her basement finished. CCKB had competed a basement guest suite a few years prior and now it was time to finish the remaining space.
She wanted an organized area with lots of storage for her fabrics and sewing supplies, as well as a large area to set up a table for cutting fabric and laying out patterns. The basement also needed to house all of their camping and seasonal gear, as well as a workshop area for her husband.
The basement needed to have flooring that was not going to be damaged during the winters when the basement can become moist from rainfall. Out clients chose to have the cement floor painted with an epoxy material that would be easy to clean and impervious to water.
An update to the laundry area included replacing the window and re-routing the piping. Additional shelving was added for more storage.
Finally a walk-in closet was created to house our homeowners incredible vintage clothing collection away from any moisture.
LED lighting was installed in the ceiling and used for the scones. Our drywall team did an amazing job boxing in and finishing the ceiling which had numerous obstacles hanging from it and kept the ceiling to a height that was comfortable for all who come into the basement.
Our client is thrilled with the final project and has been enjoying her new sewing area.

For this job, I paid a visit to the bustling town of Windermere in South Cumbria. My client asked me to refinish a black and white Terrazzo tiled entrance and hallway floor. Terrazzo if you’re not familiar is a very interesting and beautiful stone of Italian origin, which has been used for flooring in houses for centuries.
We had previously quoted to do the work on this floor however the customer has also received a quote from another firm in Glasgow and had chosen to go with them solely because they were more expensive. However, it stands to reason that the most expensive companies are not always the best quality and Tile Doctor prides itself on the amount of customer feedback we display on our websites which we believe is a far better indicator.
On the arranged day no one from the Glasgow firm showed up and after following up with the firm a young man in his early 20s arrived five hours late and began work on the floor. According to the customer he spent three days attempting to complete the job, but ran out of time and asked the client to apply the sealer themselves. The client applied the sealer, but as she had never done it before the floor turned out blotchy in appearance and she was far from happy.
To cut a long story short, my client complained to the Glaswegian company, after all she had paid for a full service and not received it. Unable to get a satisfactory conclusion from them she decided to call in Tile Doctor to put the matter right. I must point out that although I have included before and after photos one this post it’s really difficult to appreciate the extent of the problem without seeing the floor in real life.
To resolve the sealer, and to provide my client with the polished finish she had originally wanted, I burnished the floor using a set of four Tile Doctor Diamond encrusted burnishing pads. Each of the four pads has a different grit: I first applied the coarse pad and worked my way through medium, fine and eventually very fine using a little water to lubricate and rinsing the floor between each pad to remove any residue; after the burnishing process was complete I gave the entire floor a final, thorough wash.
I then used a wet-vac machine to extract the water and get the floor as dry as possible before leaving for the day and allowing it to fully dry completely overnight, it’s very important that the floor is as moisture free as possible before being sealed as it can affect the final result.
The next day I returned to the house and sealed the floor with two coats of Tile Doctor Colour Grow, an impregnating, colour-enhancing sealer that really accentuates the look of the black and white tiles.
Now that the problem has been resolved, my client is very happy with the condition of her Terrazzo tiled entrance and hallway floor.

Gold Medal Design Award Winner at the 2015 Southwest Region Pool and Spa Show! This job is of a very rare scale for a residential pool and was under construction for nearly three years. This project actually began on a vacant lot, because once the house slab was in place there would have been no access. It was necessary to build a 300 foot long retaining wall then backfill behind it. Sixty truckloads of fill were compacted into place to provide the suitable base for this pool.
This massive pool begins with an elevated fountain built adjacent to the windows on the back of the home. The water spills into a mid-level fountain, which surrounds a zero edge spa capped with 3” by 3” travertine tile and also features a travertine arm rest under the water. Travertine capped stepping stones in the middle fountain give access to the spa. From both the mid-level fountain and the spa, the water finally returns to the main pool. The longest part of the pool is a 75 foot by 10 foot lap lane that is 6 feet deep. A diamond pattern lane maker made of glass tiles runs the length of the of the lap lane. The pool then steps up to 4 feet to provide a large play area then finally terminates with a 450 square foot sun shelf.
The pool elevation is 4 feet below the house. This accommodates the two levels of fountains dropping to the pool level. Numerous bullnose travertine capped steps and planter walls help to soften the transitions in elevation. The pool coping is 2 inch thick bullnose travertine. The matching travertine on the 3,500 sq. ft. patio is accented by a contrasting pattern.
The entire pool has a tile interior. There were four different tiles used on the project totaling over 5,100 square feet. The tile was a custom blend, ordered in advance and was warehoused for over two years while the home was being constructed.
As expected on a job of this magnitude, the pool features everything one might expect including cutting edge automation and equipment, 13 LED lights, and in-floor cleaning system.
This magnificent swimming pool has an equally spectacular elevated lake view as a backdrop. Over 80 feet from the back of the house where the pool started is a fire pit area positioned perfectly to take full advantage of that view.

Comparing Allreno to Leading Competitors
When exploring bathroom renovation options, it’s important to consider the services and value offered by different providers. Here’s how Allreno stacks up against major players like Home Depot, Houzz, Block Renovation, and Angi.com:
• Home Depot: Known for its wide range of DIY and contractor-friendly products, Home Depot offers accessibility but lacks the personalized design and AI-powered planning that Allreno provides.
• Houzz: While Houzz excels in inspiration and connecting homeowners with professionals, its platform does not streamline the actual renovation process like Allreno’s app does.
• Block Renovation: Specializing in high-quality bathroom remodels, Block offers comprehensive services but often at a premium price. Allreno delivers comparable results with significant cost savings.
• Angi.com: Angi connects homeowners with contractors but doesn’t offer the integrated design-to-execution experience that sets Allreno apart.
Bathroom Vanity: The Centerpiece of Your Renovation
