He wanted a lake house, she wanted a pool.
Tucked away on a small cul-de-sac in North Reading is a backyard oasis like no other.
“During our initial meeting with the homeowners, it became apparent that they wanted a unique pool, so we suggested a free-form gunite pool surrounded by an indigenous Goshen Stone patio, custom cut to create ultra-tight joints. The stone arrived in huge slabs — most over 5’ x 5’ in size — and varied significantly in thickness. Countless hours were spent cutting, chiseling, and even sandblasting this life-sized jigsaw puzzle. The final look was exactly what we were shooting for.” Russell
The pool itself has a dark, pebble finish with a long, custom bench and a simple, spillway stone creating a perfect respite with a calming sound. Surrounding the pool and patio is a lush lawn with large swatches of summertime perennials. The homeowner is an active gardener, so providing him with areas to hone his skills was paramount to our success as a design firm. Large, architectural boulders were carefully arranged throughout the rear yard as both design elements and as functional furniture. A custom-built, wood, wire, and split granite fence meets pool-enclosure requirements and adds that farmhouse-feel to the overall look. Carefully arranged Goshen step stone set flush in the lawn orchestrates movement throughout the garden while connecting the house and pool in a thoughtful, artistic way.
No need to travel north to the lake when you’ve got this to enjoy daily — right in your own backyard!

Attached is a 14' Straight wall of base and wall cabinets with a few feature add-on's. From left to right starting with the top wall cabinets first you will see a shelf. That cabinet is one of our "End Angle Shelf Cabinets", which is used for many things. Beside that you will see a 27" wide by 42" high "Wall Diagonal Cabinet". To the right of that you see a two door butt door 24" wide by 36" high wall cabinet. The butt door gives the cabinets a better look since it eliminates the center stile between the two doors and allow for easier use of the cabinet. Beside it you will notice the cabinets "Staggered". Those two "Wall Cabinets" are 36" wide by 24" high wall cabinets with two butt doors. The next cabinet beside those two 36" wide x 24" high wall cabinets you will notice an 24" wide by 36" high two butt door wall cabinet. Beside it is the same as the opposite corner, a 27" wide by 42" high Wall Diagonal Corner Cabinet, which you can notice is higher than the two cabinets beside it. The final wall cabinet is our Wall End Angle Cabinet. These wall cabinet all have our "Dental Crown Molding" along the top of the cabinets. With the base cabinets from left to right you will see the side of our Lazy Susan Cabinet which is 36" wide both ways from corner. As you can see the side of the Lazy Susan is finish, that is because all of our cabinets have finished sides to match the cabinet. Beside the lazy susan is an 18" wide base cabinet with one drawer and one door. Next is a "Three Drawer Base" that is 12" wide great to store different things. Beside it you will notice a "Fluted Base Filler" that is 3" wide and 34-1/2" high. Next is different, They have used a 36" wide by 18" high wall cabinet and custom built our 4" toe kick plate below it to make it look similar to a base cabinet. They have installed the sink on top of the wall cabinet which then cut the holes in the top of the cabinet box for the pluming. Next is another 3" wide by 34-1/2" high "Fluted Base Filler." The next three base cabinets are the same as the left side of the sink. You have the 12" wide "Three Drawer Base" cabinet, then an 18" wide one drawer and one door base cabinet. And finally you have your 36" wide both ways out from the corner is your "Lazy Susan Corner Base" cabinet. You will notice the side of that lazy susan is also finished on the side which is open to see. This is a beautiful and inexpensive way to brighten up your kitchen.

2018 HNA Awards Honorable Mention - Concrete Paver - Residential (size more than 3,000 sf)
Contractor: Go Pavers
Producer: Orco
Designer: Aaron Barnes
The homeowner wanted to create a luxurious outdoor space. A one-of-a-kind design, the company combined Orco Villa stones and arranged them in a random pattern to create the outline of a small airplane which accents the shape of the swimming pool. The subtle earthy tones of the stones together create the perfect contrast between the rich blue of the pool water and green tones of the artificial turf installation.
What truly takes this design to the next level is the propeller design that was created using Holland stone in Charcoal. The company had the idea of creating a "starburst" effect with the colors, where the dark grey bursts into the a lighter brown (Chateau). To create the symmetrical, rounded shape the company used high end cutting machines to precisely cut each and every edge stone, ensuring they all lay perfectly together.
The company also installed red, green and white lights into the system which are reminiscent to the tail lights on a real airplane to create the some of the final touches. Despite being the statement design, the company tied in an alternating runner border in the Manor colorway to truly tie in the pool to the rest of the yard. By incorporating different elements of the back patio, such as the turf, water and overall shape, the company was able to accent the homeowner's front driveway as well.
Approximately 3,700 square feet in total, the company combined Orco Villa with Orco Antique Cobble Circle to create an open, welcoming entrance to a lovely home. The company took advantage of the naturally rounded edges of the home and created accents with the circle kit and border detail near an existing water fountain.
Similar to the "starburst" effect on the plane propeller, this was replicated on the each circle kit on the front entryway. The artificial turf border around the fountain paired with the Antique Cobble circle kit truly make this piece stand out.

Project Description
Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 Precision Home Installation
This project features the professional installation of the next-generation Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 system. Known for their upgraded brightness and enhanced color rendering, these lights require a precise, calculated layout—especially since the manufacturer guidelines restrict cutting into the main line, presenting a unique installation challenge.
Key Features of This Installation:
Next-Gen Exterior Illumination: Outfitted with the newly released Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2, delivering brilliant architectural down-lighting, incredible holiday presets, and daily accent lighting.
Creative Technical Problem Solving: Because these specialized strands could not be cut without voiding the integrity of the system, we meticulously engineered the run layout. To achieve a perfectly flush finish at the roofline edge, we successfully executed a custom shortening and capping technique on the final strands.
Flawless Eave Integration: The lights were mounted at the optimal distance from the fascia to ensure a perfectly uniform, triangular cone wash down the home's exterior walls, eliminating hot spots and dark gaps.
Smart Ecosystem Control: Fully integrated into the homeowner's smart ecosystem, allowing for voice control, scheduled automation, and endless customization through the native app interface.
Our Specialized Lighting Expertise
Smart lighting systems require more than just hanging a strand—they require precision planning. We specialize in handling high-end retail and commercial systems, providing:
Advanced Layout Mapping: Ensuring your runs look symmetrical and perfectly tailored to your roofline before a single clip is mounted.
Out-of-the-Box Troubleshooting: Finding safe, manufacturer-approved technical workarounds for complex roof lines where standard plug-and-play methods fall short.
Clean Wire Management: Tucking and hiding all jump wires and power supplies for a seamless daytime appearance.

Crema Marfil Tile and the Waterjet Mosaic Multi-Purpose Beige Tile
The world keeps getting sophisticated and it’s hard to go by without noticing. And can we be amazed that this sophistication keeps creeping and has finally reach the house of the most moderately life-styled persons; even in their kitchens.
I case you don’t know what I’m driving at, it may be better if I break the good news to you about the crema marfil brand of tiles.
The first time I saw one, I was completely in awe. Much as tried, trust me, I could not differentiate the tile from natural marble; so clean and smoothly polished, tumbled finishes and they were such a delight to watch.
I finally chose to fall in love with one though; the Basket weave crema marfil tile. You could call it moderate but I would peg that at a higher standard. This finely polished surfaces of carefully interwoven model of nature were a comfort to touch and will pass as one of the best that I have ever reviewed in my years of experience with tiles and ceramics.
The Basket weave crema marfil tiles, you should know how it looks like from its name, will definitely be good for very natural settings including the floor for the summer hut on your lawn or the edges of your swimming pools and your kitchen floors and the list goes on. So this beautiful masterpiece has great prospects indeed and could prove to be extremely convenient for any commercial or residential architecture.
Of course this brand of tile could very well fit any purpose but the Basket weave model is preferred as a floor tile, considering its aesthetic quality and easy to clean nature. This natural stone or “gem” comes in various ranges and sizes. Most of the customers I interviewed about the crema marfil marble tiles were particularly excited about my personal favourite the Basket weave crema marfil tiles but others were equally excited about the Crema Marfil Marble Basket Mosaic Tileand the Crema Marfil hexagon mosaics and few others also liked the Crema Marfil herringbone mosaic and the Dark emperador marble.
So if you are yet to make the hard decision of choosing a range of tiles for one of your building project, well, there’s one that I can vouch for. The crema marfil brand of tiles. They come in many colors so just be ready to have a hard time making the difficult decision to choose. Remember to try the basket weave but if you don’t, any other crema marfil tile variation is a good choice well made.

This kitchen was designed to function around a large family. The owners spend their weekend prepping large meals with extended family, so we gave them as much countertop space to prep and cook as we could. Tall cabinets, a secondary banks of drawers, and a bar area, were placed to the connecting space from the kitchen to the dining room for additional storage. Finally, a light wood and selective accents were chosen to give the space a light and airy feel.

This kitchen remodel combines timeless functionality with a fresh, modern touch. We installed custom butcher block countertops, carefully cut and fitted to the existing layout, adding warmth and durability to the workspace.
The cabinets were refinished and painted in a soft sage green, creating a clean and inviting contrast with the natural wood tones. Electrical wiring for new ceiling fixtures was prepared for final installation, and the space was reconfigured to optimize workflow and comfort.
The project also included:
– New countertop installation with precision cuts
– Cabinet refinishing and hardware updates
– Electrical prep for ceiling lighting
– Subfloor protection and cleanup phase in progress
Perfect for homeowners looking to upgrade their kitchen with a cozy, craftsman-inspired style that feels both modern and functional.

This stunning kitchen highlights Cambrian Creek natural thin veneer from the Quarry Mill. Cambrian Creek is a classic real stone veneer cut into the dimensional (sawn-height) style. The stone is natural dolomitic limestone with the timeless colors of gold, buff and the occasional grey. The quarrying and production process for Cambrian Creek is quite impressive. The stone is cut from the ground in blocks roughly the size of a car. Then, the blocks get sawn or sliced as it is called into large sheets of stone in heights of 2.25”, 5” and 7.75”. The sheets are fed into the splitter where the hydraulic press breaks them every four inches. At this stage, the stone is considered building stone or full veneer. Finally, the pieces are run through the saw to create the beautiful thin veneer.
