Adding to the coastal feel, the modern geometric pendant lights add an element of structure but keep an atmospheric feeling. What started as a blank canvas and dark moody cave is now a light-filled serene and cozy space. This "powder bath" is the only bathroom for downstairs guests in this gorgeous home, so we really had to give it some pop! Although labeled as a powder, there is actually a walk in shower in the room. We went with a calming blue palette with compliments of white, Calacatta gold marble, and french gold fixtures. The walk-in closet has glass front cabinets with glass shelving for display, as well as ample storage for jewelry and accessories.

The walls are covered in a linen paper which , along with the crunchy sisal carpet, adds texture and warmth.

Here is an example of how you can showcase vacant homes without adding a lot of furniture and accessories. We added a few pieces to highlight the focal point and character of the room. Design tip – To frame the French doors on the left, we purchased inexpensive curtains at Walmart and hug them using upholstery tacks. It looked so good the buyer wrote them into the purchase agreement.
