DGI designed a large home office complete with two desks. The vaulted ceilings and wood beam details draw your eyes up, and we selected an aged iron chandelier to complement them. We kept the existing fireplace mantle, but we opted to paint the wooden surround in the same charcoal grey seen throughout the rest of the home. It creates a cohesive feel while elevating the fireplace with a more modern feel.

This traditional formal dining room is full of antiques and collected items, making it feel like a personalized home for this family.

A French Country chateau kitchen featuring double kitchen islands, a brick vaulted ceiling, custom cabinetry, glass pendant lighting, arched iron window details, and a statement range hood for a refined European inspired design.

As an experienced interior designer, I am accustomed to designing kitchens on a regular basis. So, when the opportunity arose to design my very own kitchen, I had a wish list ready and waiting. At the top of my goals for my dream kitchen were elements that I believe are the hallmark of gourmet kitchens and leave a lasting visual impression: these include a custom range hood, a pot filler, a classic bridge style faucet, a gourmet range, and the seamless integration of panel-ready appliances. If you're thinking about remodeling or building a new home and kitchen, we'd love the opportunity to help bring your wish list to life too!

Should fear of etching or staining hold you back from choosing natural stone? At Flourish Interiors, we believe the resounding answer should be "NO!". My own home is a testament to how confident I am in that answer! The enduring allure of marble and other natural materials is what draws me in. There's something about using the "real thing" that really elevates the look. Every counter surface in my home features Danby Vermont Marble, and many of our showers and backsplashes feature marble tile as well. I figure if it was good enough for the ancient Romans, and the craftsmen of Versailles...then it certainly is good enough for me. The key is you have to accept the etching as beauty; like the browning of the leatherwork on a Louis Vuitton handbag....marble just get's better with time!
