To facilitate the builder's desire to create a successful model home in this large site development with expansive natural preserves, this design creates a sense of presence far greater than its actual size. This was accomplished by a wide yet shallow layout that allows most rooms to look out to rear of home and preserve views beyond. Designed with a West Indies flavor, this thoroughly modern home's layout flows seamlessly from space to space. Each room is bright with lots of natural light, creating a home that takes fullest potential of this unique site.

Mudrooms can have style, too! The mudroom may be one of the most used spaces in your home, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. A stylish, practical mudroom can keep your house in order and still blend with the rest of your home. This homeowner's existing mudroom was not utilizing the area to its fullest. The open shelves and bench seat were constantly cluttered and unorganized. The garage had a large underutilized area, which allowed us to expand the mudroom and create a large walk in closet that now stores all the day to day clutter, and keeps it out of sight behind these custom elegant barn doors. The mudroom now serves as a beautiful and stylish entrance from the garage, yet remains functional and durable with heated tile floors, wainscoting, coat hooks, and lots of shelving and storage in the closet.
Directly outside of the mudroom was a small hall closet that did not get used much. We turned the space into a coffee bar area with a lot of style! Custom dusty blue cabinets add some extra kitchen storage, and mirrored wall cabinets add some function for quick touch ups while heading out the door.

This home is a great example of longevity, because it embodies the idea in its fullest sense. Like all of our homes, it’s designed for aging in place, with tons of accessibility upgrades–including an elevator–so that the homeowner can live out all of his days in the comfort of his own home.

This contemporary update to a traditional Plano home was a welcome transformation. The combination formal living and dining space wasn’t being utilized to it’s fullest potential and the homeowners often avoided it. Special details like multiple mirrors and light bright colors energize a once dark room and invite guests. Plush details like velvet, penshell, black lacquer piano and an inlaid bone dining table bring a welcome, yet approachable formality to these rooms. Our goals for comfortable seating for dining and lounging while listening to the piano as well as a singular open space for entertaining was achieved!

For this space we completely opened up the kitchen. It used to be a U-Shaped that made the client feel boxed in was dysfunctional. This particular client really enjoys cooking and uses their kitchen to its fullest potential. Our team removed a wall into the family room and added an island instead. We completely redid the cabinets to give the client more storage, we used Dekton, Calacatta Gold 2CM from Cosentino for the countertops. Above the kitchen sink we added a Bay Window to bring them out into their lush backyard and give them a greater sense of space.
We purchased a Kitchen Aid cooktop and double wall oven to really add to the functionality of the kitchen and increase the clients overall productivity by giving them more room and the power of convection to create amazing recipes.
For the sink we put in a Kholer Farmhouse sink in white that the client absolutely loved, it gave them ample space and really added to the overall beauty of the kitchen.

The beautiful Westside of Santa Cruz is known for surfing, beaches and homes with small lots. Our main project goal was to maximize outdoor space and create additional rooms that would enlarge the overall living space in this cottage just steps from the beach. Large family gatherings, lots of grandkids and a few dogs inspired a walkable groundcover "lawn". We chose a light colored flagstone for the patio to contrast with the blue home. A long wall serves the dual purpose of additional seating and containing tall, thin plants that create privacy and a sense of enclosure. Plantings provide year-round color in primarily blues and yellows, and require very little water. With our perfect climate, nobody wants to stay indoors, and now this family is utilizing their space to the fullest extent!

Here’s a walk back on memory lane to a project which we were very thankful to have back in this area’s construction trough of 2011. Inspired by the deck of a classic Chris-Craft boat, the bar top and related millwork for the Whiskey Bravo restaurant in Seagrove Beach was a much-welcomed job and one that allowed us to test our woodworking skills and knowledge to their fullest. Thank you Whiskey Bravo owners Skip and Victoria Moore, Architect Brian Stackable, and Ron Porter of Regal Stephens Construction.

Explore this revitalized backyard oasis in Washington, DC, where overgrown grass, weeds, and greenery once dominated the space.
Faced with the challenge of maximizing every inch in this limited area, our goal was to reclaim and transform. The result: a thoughtful design featuring a custom fence for privacy and aesthetics, a space-saving bike shed, and a cozy bench surrounded by mosquito-repellent plants. Witness the metamorphosis of this once-overgrown haven into a harmonious blend of functionality and style—a transformed retreat where space is utilized to its fullest potential.

When the sun goes down the fun is just beginning…if you have an exquisitely crafted backyard get-away like this one. This is–without a doubt–an ideal backyard for those who live life to the fullest by living inside-out. The strategically placed fire feature presents an open invitation for a cozy conversation. While the serene water feature lulls you past the cares of the day.

A wall of light: this north-facing bank of windows has been harnessed to its fullest. Look at all that indirect light pouring into this gorgeous space. We chose white for the walls, window framing, & backsplash to carry the light on through the space.
The new deep sink has a pull-down faucet: every detail has been thought through for efficiency and ease-of-use. With three kids there are lots of dishes!
