Warm inviting colorful eclectic family room speaks of the clients love of vintage mixed with modern style. With comfortable and functional furniture daily living and entertaining was easy. The warmness of the client's personalities played a huge role in showcasing their love of warm colors, Southwestern art and artifacts and special vintage repurposed blanket chest modified into a cocktail table.

This is a small bathroom but it has everything and more. Plenty of storage, uncluttered floors, extra storage for towels and a shower niche which adds functionality and practicality a little extra to this small space. IKEA vanity fits just right at a less than standard depth and the IKEA medicine cabinet's can fit more because of it's extended height. The MAXX folding shower panel is perfect as it folds into or out of the tub making it easy to clean the tub and because it's a glass panel, it allows the beauty of the wall tiles to be visible. This small 1920’s bathroom was in need of a full gut and redo. The 2” hex floor tiles are a new twist to a traditional feature and coordinate well with the beautiful tile border detail on the walls. The wall-hanging sink is a good space saving fixture. The new recessed medicine chest and niche with glass shelves improve the functionality of the bath. The owners also opted for replacing the window and installing a bath fan, which helps with moisture control. This traditional bathroom was given a timeless update and the owners are very pleased!

The clients, with a second child on the way, needed another bedroom. We transformed a spare bedroom into a welcoming and functional room for their toddler. We recommended an evolving bed that can grow with her, a wall-mounted cube shelf system, as well as a fun area rug for her to play on. The rug is not too ‘juvenile’ looking which means it will be around for many years. We organized her toys, installed a bookshelf for all her reading material, and created better storage in her cupboard. We recommended a fresh coat of white paint, as well as cute little animal prints in the same colour palette over her chest of drawers. She can relax on the floor, reading in her beanbag with adequate lighting provided by a rattan floor lamp. Her black-out curtains are cute and block out the light for her daytime naps. She has her own space that can evolve as she grows, and her new baby sister has inherited the crib in her old room.

This space is intended for the homeowner's daughter for her occasional visits. The space was created to be a happy and welcoming room for her to come back to. Inspiration for the palette was drawn from the blue and gold bird fabric seen on the drapery and again on the accent pillows. The gold was repeated in the duvet, the roman shades and the patterned area rug. Feminine patterns and motifs were selected; florals, butterflies and leopard.

Quality pieces chosen with a discerning eye are the thread that ties this room together. A quite corner just for him holds a comfortable chair for night reading while sipping on his favorite drink. On her corner a fluffy chaise and fur spread for winter reading would make her feel like a queen. More elegant details on her side of the closet like this elegant pink “Grange” Bombay chest and a tree sculpture become a functional jewelry tree.
