Although dark cabinets have been trending for a while, it is usually in a mix-and-match schematic, for example white perimeter and dark island. Here we went with a knotty cherry enriched with a matte dark lager finish throughout. The consistency serves to enlarge the space, especially when contrasted with the white subway tile and light Cambria countertops. Some interesting design elements are the open shelf with bead board over the refrigerator, the functional built out pantry and the massive solid wood turned legs on the island.

Clean lines and a neutral material palette blends the home into the landscape, while careful craftsmanship gives the home a clean and contemporary appearance. We first met the client when we were asked to re-design the client future kitchen. The layout was not making any progress with the architect, so they asked us to step and give them a hand. The outcome is wonderful, full and expanse kitchen. The kitchen lead to assisting the client throughout the entire home. We were also challenged to meet the clients desired design details but also to meet a certain budget number.

This 18” wall mounted single vanity is stylish and functional with its warm Cinnamon finish and substantial above counter ceramic sink. The cabinet base is made of solid wood and furniture grade plywood with real wood veneer for lasting durability and non-toxic, eco-friendly polyurethane finish for maximum protection. A dovetail full extension soft-close drawer provides convenient storage, and a frosted glass front panel adds a soft accent to the piece. You’ll find high-level craftsmanship all throughout with fully finished interiors and quality German-made all-metal, heavy-duty hardware. The spacious ceramic vessel sink in white provides a roomy basin for washing and features a single faucet hole as well as overflow. A matching solid wood frame mirror hangs above the sink, positioned either vertically or horizontally.

This long cabinet needed to serve as a China Hutch as well as functional storage. Because she wanted a fair amount of glass doors, I was concerned about a center section of solid doors. Instead, we chose to have them be glass as well and then line the inside with a linen fabric to conceal the contents. Within the glass door cabinets we opted to put a black and gold marble wallcovering on the backs, it lightened the interior a bit and added interest behind a lot of white and glassware. We changed the cabinetry hardware several times in this kitchen, all the same pulls on the white cabinets, knobs on the black doors, a different pull on the black lower drawers and a fourth unique pull on the center section of black cabinetry - all of which was Matte French Gold.
