From this angle this futon looks quite long and large. It looks a bit overdone for this room. It has a bottom skirt which I think is quite ugly. This futon would look better with bottom storage drawers instead. The style of the cover doesn't really match anything else in the room. Perhaps if they had some curtains in a similar style as the futon cover. Also I would like to mention that the lay out of this room doesn't make sense. Look at that large empty corner and why is the end table on that side of the wall?

Perfect for your remotes, drinks and ashtrays for the puffers. As you can see this futon is in queen size with the noticeable high back. Full size futons always look aesthetically better. One complain and futon decorating faux pas, is first the flimsy flattened mattress needs to be replaced with something a bit thicker. Second is you need to fold over the middle crease or conceal it with throw pillows. Some futons can be quite an eye soar when you see it has more wrinkles than a World War II veteran.
