Inspiration for a modern home design remodel in Denver

Furnishings, art, and linens were kept in a monochromatic black and white while purple walls and lime green accents bring plenty of color to the room. A mirror triptych bounces light around this northeast corner bedroom. The headboard is a hand painted white, dark purple, and lime green solid wood door (cut to size) to match the surrounding room style.

This alcove between the main entry and the kitchen provides the perfect space for a family with lots of "stuff". This area holds all of the things you want access to on a daily basis but you do not necessarily want to see such as cook books, coats, school bags, car keys, etc, etc, etc.

Inspiration for a contemporary living room remodel in Singapore

This room was for two adorable little boys, the clients wanted something fun and colorful, with lots of storage. The clients already had a blue sofa that they liked, so we found some fun orange floor lamps, with lemon yellow side tables to go with it. For storage we hacked some IKEA cabinets to build an entertainment center for their TV, with lots of storage below and shelves above for easy access to all of their toys. We used the same cabinets on the back wall for even more storage. Additionally, they have storage in the yellow ottoman. The orange bean bags were also a big hit with the boys, we have been told that they loved it and spend lots of time playing in their new playroom.

This is a personal design project - our living room! This reading nook/sitting area in the living room is one of my favorite spots in the apartment. Peeking in from the sides are the coffee table and acrylic desk chair (IKEA Tobias). Will update with the rest of the room at a later date! Bookshelf: IKEA Nornas stained with several different shades of Minwax Wood Sheen and sealed with water-based Polycrylic. Risom chair: a find from my great uncle - the webbing was ripped and the legs had some water damage, so this is the restored chair. Comada/Panamericana chair: purchased from Alapash in Ravenswood, Chicago, imported by Maya Mueble. IKEA faux sheepskin below. This modern kitchen features handmade Walnut cabinet doors and drawer fronts by Dendra Doors. Along with the cabinet faces Dendra also crafted the thick bar top, extra thick cover panels and floating and non floating shelving with lighting. All in the same Walnut veneer! The complimenting white cabinet fronts are IKEA's Ringhult, high gloss white. However, Dendra Doors does offer a variety of matte to high gloss, and even acrylic white options for those clients who want custom white cabinetry as well.
