Our clients already had the beautiful lot on Burt Lake, all they needed was the home. We were hired to create an inviting home that had a "craftsman" style of the exterior and a "cottage" style for the interior. They desired to capture a casual, warm, and inviting feeling. The home was to have as much natural light and to take advantage of the amazing lake views. The open concept plan was desired to facilitate lots of family and visitors. The finished design and home is exactly what they hoped for. Cozy and welcoming, this log cabin design features conventional wall construction with 1⁄2 log siding – the best of both worlds when considering not only looks but also value and energy efficiency. The large front porch is perfect for relaxing the day away.

This unique cabin began as an ordinary ranch house with a million dollar Lake Norfork view. The layout was chopped up with too small of kitchen and baths. One bath that served two bedrooms was only accessible through one bedroom. We valted all of the ceilings and finished them with wood. Only closing in the porch, we rearranged the entire house. In this country garden, we renovated the shores of the pond and created a wooden island to which floating wooden paths lead. Planted the edges of the garden. Added high-altitude wooden terraces at the edge of the forest. We placed sculptures in hidden corners. Created a rural fairytale garden.
