This expansive Victorian had tremendous historic charm but hadn’t seen a kitchen renovation since the 1950s. The homeowners wanted to take advantage of their views of the backyard and raised the roof and pushed the kitchen into the back of the house, where expansive windows could allow southern light into the kitchen all day. A warm historic gray/beige was chosen for the cabinetry, which was contrasted with character oak cabinetry on the appliance wall and bar in a modern chevron detail. Headboard style backing, and original deco style hardware. Measures: 56.5" W x 18.25" D x 88.25" H 36" Tall Bottom The wood finish has a lot of patina, and this looks to have been possibly part of a built in. Can be used as just the top over the counter to store dishes, or just use the bottom for a server, or media cabinet. Lots of rustic charm, and beautiful aged pine patina.

I placed this Fiddlehead to activate a dull corner and to keep the plant close to sunlight per its instructions. Here the light dances on the plant which casts a shadow onto the wall- adding more intrigue. It truly is another lovely (understated moment). SAY YES TO THE POWER OF PLANTS. Preferably, I use living plants for my client’s psyche and to have these green living cells keep them company. However, if one can't commit to keeping plants alive, then go for the silk!
