This dreamy master bath remodel in East Cobb offers generous space without going overboard in square footage. The homeowner chose to go with a large double vanity with a custom seated space as well as a nice shower with custom features and decided to forgo the typical big soaking tub. The vanity area shown in the photos has plenty of storage within the wall cabinets and the large drawers below. The countertop is Cedar Brown slab marble with undermount sinks. The brushed nickel metal details were done to work with the theme through out the home. The floor is a 12x24 honed Crema Marfil. The stunning crystal chandelier draws the eye up and adds to the simplistic glamour of the bath. The shower was done with an elegant combination of tumbled and polished Crema Marfil, two rows of Emperador Light inlay and Mirage Glass Tiles, Flower Series, Polished.

In this beautiful home, our Aspen studio used a neutral palette that let natural materials shine when mixed with intentional pops of color. As long-time meditators, we love creating meditation spaces where our clients can relax and focus on renewal. In a quiet corner guest room, we paired an ultra-comfortable lounge chair in a rich aubergine with a warm earth-toned rug and a bronze Tibetan prayer bowl. We also designed a ⁠spa-like bathroom showcasing a freestanding tub and a glass-enclosed shower, made even more relaxing by a glimpse of the greenery surrounding this gorgeous home. Against a pure white background, we added a floating stair, with its open oak treads and clear glass handrails, which create a sense of spaciousness and allow light to flow between floors. The primary bedroom is designed to be super comfy but with hidden storage underneath, making it super functional, too. The room's palette is light and restful, with the contrasting black accents adding energy and the natural wood ceiling grounding the tall space.

Steps from Riverside Park, the existing apartment had previously not been renovated for 30 years and was in dire need of a complete overhaul. StudioLAB was presented with the challenge of re-designing the space to fit a modern family’s lifestyle today with the flexibility to adjust as they evolve into their tomorrow. The existing formal closed kitchen and dining room were combined and opened up to allow the owners to entertain in an open living environment and allow natural light to permeate throughout different exposures of the apartment. Bathrooms were gutted, enlarged and reconfigured. Central air conditioning was added with minimal ducting as to be hidden and not seem clunky. Built-in bookshelves run the length of the perimeter walls below windows, concealing radiators and providing extra valuable storage in every room. A neutral color palette, minimalist details, and refined materials create a warm, modern atmosphere. Light brown oak veneered archways as well as LED cove ceilings are used to separate programmatic spaces visually without the use of physical partitions. A charcoal stained cube built-in was designed with in the foyer to create deep storage while continuing into the kitchen to hide the built-in refrigerator and pantry visually connecting the two spaces. The family’s two children share one large bedroom in order to create a playroom in the other which can also serves as a guest room when needed. The master bedroom features a full height grey stained ash veneered wall unit that serves as the predominant clothes storage. A panel housing the TV slides to reveal more clothes storage behind. To utilize the exiting formal maid’s room behind the kitchen, a small study and powder room were created that house laundry machines as well.

Originally within this house, the door which now faces outward used to be around the corner in a small hallway, virtually eliminating any visibility into this contemporary walk in custom wine cellar. Upon seeing the location of this space within the house, Gene Walder and the knowledgeable team at Vintage Cellars knew that to really take advantage of the room provided, (which is actually below the stairs), they needed to get rid of the original door and add a brand new one facing the main living space. Just a small feat in a series of unique custom features within this cellar! Here at Vintage Cellars, before any design takes shape, it is vital to understand what the clients wants and needs are based on their growing collection of wine. With a good idea of bottle sizes, shapes (some pinot noir bottles, for example have a wider bottom than a typical cabernet sauvignon bottle) and unique features desired, the team of wine cellar designers and wine cellar builders at Vintage Cellars are able to create a very special and desirable wine cellar for each client. Designing a completely round home is challenging! Add to that, the two tubes are merely 8' wide. This requires EVERY piece of furniture to be custom built to fit the continuous rounding walls, floors and ceiling. We used every possible inch to provide storage for our clients 3 years of "Gourmet Reserves" ... "just add water... YUM" Solid walnut wood paneling and custom built shelving was used throughout as well as tons of hidden storage in, under and atop every possible location was utilized.

This stunning kitchen was completely transformed from its 1980s spec house origins. The homeowner came to visit our showroom and fell in love with the sliding backspace on display, deciding to create her new kitchen around the concept. The doors reveal storage for cooking spices and oils on hand-hewed, white-washed oak shelving and can be left open or closed at the owner's discretion. The La Cornue Chateau 150 in Tapestry Blue with unlacquered brass trim is the crowning jewel of the kitchen, framed by a custom stainless steel hood with rivet detailing. A creamy marble was selected for the backsplash, and a 2" mitered countertop for the ample island, painted in Farrow & Ball Inchyra-blue, that comfortably seats four. The perimeter cabinets are recessed panel doors with stepped framing bead, finished in decorator white and accented by burnished brass hardware The wall opposite the range hosts a display unit with the same hand-hewed, white-washed oak shelving as the sliding backsplash, and a non-functioning fireplace was covered in horizontal shiplap to now house a shallow pantry with design elements in the top panels. The dining side of the kitchen is anchored by the breakfast bar, which is fully independent of the kitchen appliances with its own sink, beverage drawers, dedicated trash, and storage, with the same marble and paint color as the island to integrate and unify the space.
