The homeowner of this new build came to us for help with the design of their new home. They wanted a more contemporary look than what they're used to. The large island is a great gathering point with in the open concept of the dining/kitchen/living space. Using two different colors of quartz countertops added contrast that highlights the marble backsplash. The backsplash adds texture and richness to the space. Shaker style cabinets help modernize the space with the clean lines. Function was key to this kitchen working with utensil pullouts, spice racks, rollouts, hidden storage and a knife block. Design Connection, Inc. Kansas City interior designer provided space planning, architectural drawings, barstools, tile, plumbing fixtures, countertops, cabinets and hardware, lighting, paint colors, coordination with the builder and project management to ensure that the high standards of Design Connection, Inc. were maintained.

This warm, yet modern kitchen combines natural materials, walnut, quartz, marble with high gloss lacquer cabinets to create a unique and inviting space. This condo kitchen used to be enclosed with very low ceilings. We opened up the walls to create a bright and open space. We were able to conceal the pipes and cables within the vertical cabinets so that the risers could continue to the floor above. The pendant lights are made from iron.

This sleek, kitchen abuts a modern mix of glass wall cabinets and high gloss laquer flat paneled cabinetry with the focal point directed to the intricate mosaic tiles the homeowner fell in love with. The best appliances for the chef of the home nothing less than Subzero Wolf. The dining area is enhanced with hammered metal table with abundance of windows with perfectly paired swivel chairs to share as you take on the day. Inspiration for a transitional medium tone wood floor kitchen/dining room combo remodel in DC Metro with white walls

A reverse accent on the backsplash. The blue Lisboa patchwork hex tile highlights the backsplash. By spacing it out with solid white as an accent, it creates a visual resting spot from the intricate pattern.

This expansive contemporary penthouse kitchen, with stunning views overlooking White Plains, and the Hudson Valley was designed by Barbara Bell and Bilotta senior designer, Jeff Eakley. The cabinetry is Artcraft in a mix of high-gloss Dannogri laminate, Anthracite high-gloss lacquer, and a custom Gray matte paint. The island, great for entertaining, features a waterfall quartzite countertop with Caesarstone on the perimeter. The backsplash is a metallic glass tile. The Anthracite high gloss lacquer cabinetry hides a paneled 36” Subzero refrigerator and 36” paneled freezer while showcasing a SubZero wine refrigerator and a stainless-steel Bosch wall oven and microwave. A stainless-steel Faber hood sits above a Wolf cooktop. Hidden in the island is an extra Subzero refrigerator drawer for easy to reach drinks. Dishwasher is Miele. We wanted to showcase a fun multi-purpose room, combining a laundry room, pet supplies/bed and wrapping paper center. Using Current frame-less cabinets, we show as much of the product as possible in a small space: Lazy susan Stack of 4 drawers (each drawer being a different box and glide offered in the line) Pull out ironing board Stacked washer and dryer Clothes rod for both hanging clothes and wrapping paper Open shelves Square corner wall Pull out hamper baskets Pet bed Tip up door Open shelves with pull out hampers We also wanted to combine cabinet materials with high gloss white laminate upper cabinets and Spokane lower cabinets. Keeping a budget in mind, plastic laminate counter tops with white wood-grain imprint and a top-mounted sink were used.

Pom pom pendant lights top off this beautiful, contemporary kitchen remodel. Sleek & modern, there is still plenty of functional use and room to eat at the island.

The monochrome color palette of this kitchen is carried throughout the area with white high gloss cabinets, black bar stools, black granite countertops and matching backsplash. More light was added into the kitchen with strategically placed pot lights and new windows above the main kitchen cabinets for a natural light source. Gray/black hardwoods warm up the space and add a welcoming comfortable feel. To maintain the sleek modern design, custom cabinets were built with under pulls and no handles. A matching buffet added new storage space to this bright welcoming kitchen.
