My client in Alberta, Canada wanted more privacy on their front door side panels. I created this Forest privacy film to solve the problem. It looks as though you are looking out into a forest scene with beautiful brook. My client was very pleased with the end result.

In this view, we see the fireplace, which was renovated to display a higher hearth. The original was too close to the floor for easy viewing. Moving the hearth higher creates a focal point for the room. This treatment required an extremely creative fireplace technician to solve the problem. The niche to the right of the fireplace houses the television and stereo.

The existing stairway had two major issues: the large wall limited the size of furniture the clients could bring upstairs, and the ceiling height was too low for tall members of the family. Problems were solved by raising the ceiling and opening the wall to add a finely-crafted banister.

Check out the before & afters...ripped down to the studs and moved some walls to create a clean, crisp transitional bathroom retreat complete with freestanding tub and large shower. Designer Sarah Robertson of Studio Dearborn helped a neighbor and friend to update a “builder grade” kitchen into a personal, family space that feels luxurious and inviting. The homeowner wanted to solve a number of storage and flow problems in the kitchen, including a wasted area dedicated to a desk, too-little pantry storage, and her wish for a kitchen bar. The all white builder kitchen lacked character, and the client wanted to inject color, texture and personality into the kitchen while keeping it classic.
