Trying to pick my favorite detail from this project is like picking my favorite child. Can't be done. Alice from Longleaf Lumber in Cambridge scored this amazing old walnut that we milled and were able to keep a bit of the old patina to make these one of a kind fridge panels for our sub zero towers. Installed by our friends at Yale Appliance.

A very rustic tree house we built in Milroy, PA. The treehouse was framed used rough sawn hickory with rough milled pine siding and cedar post railings. By far the coolest part is the stair way leading up to the tree house. The treads are made of white oak with a cedar truck providing the support. A true woodsman's getaway.

Welcome to our latest kitchen renovation project, where classic French elegance meets contemporary design in the heart of Great Falls, VA. Our design centers around a harmonious blend of light gray and off-white tones, setting a serene and inviting backdrop for this kitchen makeover. These neutral hues will work in harmony to create a calming ambiance and enhance the natural light, making the kitchen feel open and welcoming. To infuse a sense of nature and add a striking focal point, we have carefully selected green cabinets. The rich green hue, reminiscent of lush gardens, brings a touch of the outdoors into the space, creating a unique and refreshing visual appeal. Our carpenters labored every detail from chainsaws to the finest of chisels and brad nails to achieve this eclectic industrial design. This project was not about just putting two things together, it was about coming up with the best solutions to accomplish the overall vision. A true meeting of the minds was required around every turn to achieve "rough" in its most luxurious state. A classic, elegant master suite for the husband and wife, and a fun, sophisticated entertainment space for their family -- it was a dream project! To turn the master suite into a luxury retreat for two young executives, we mixed rich textures with a playful, yet regal color palette of purples, grays, yellows and ivories. For fun family gatherings, where both children and adults are encouraged to play, I envisioned a handsome billiard room and bar, inspired by the husband’s favorite pub.
